I couldn’t recommend this establishment more. I have several food allergies which makes eating on vacation kind of scary. Luckily, this was stop number one on the first day and I ended up having breakfast/lunch here everyday. They had multiple gluten free/vegan bakery items and were able to adjust menu items to meet my needs. All of the employees are so kind and welcoming. They accidentally made a mistake with my order the first day and were very apologetic and made me a new dish with a complimentary piece of DELICIOUS gluten free toast. The chef even came out the second time to ask additional questions which was dearly appreciated. The owner and staff are all top notch. Additionally, the atmosphere is very cozy and laid back. You can come and go or dine in. I just can’t say enough good things. I recommend this place to anyone, but especially for people with specific needs.
Loved the Bison Chili and the Bison burger (my friend had the burger and loved it)! Our server was very attentive and the restaurant had a nice, calm vibe. Our server was so nice and informative when we asked her about gluten free items, since my friend has Celiac. A very accommodating restaurant if you have dietary restrictions.

Kids dark in there. Our waiter work hard while all the others stand around talking a lot. The food was good had the prime rib dip and the gluten free bun was sooo yummy and best I ever had! Would recommend this place . And the prices were good too.
Good Mexican food. They did good takeout. They did miss one of our things of tortillas. But they were able to do gluten free for one of my friends who is celiac.
Its actually real pizza size, plus it was vegan! Gluten-free as well. But the crust was incredible. The meat was on point and the cheese is not Diay cheese yay!!! Recommend for a solid pizza day in breck
My crepe was fine and I appreciate them having gluten/dairy free batter. But I still can’t believe I paid exactly $20 (in cash so I didn’t have to pay the extra 3% credit card fee) for a crepe with strawberries, honey, and lime juice. This jaw-dropping price included the 18% gratuity fee that you don’t know about until after you stand in line and pay. This is such a scam and tourist trap establishment. In some of the review replies the owner claims that without this 18% fee she/he has too much staff turnover. Business advice for them: charge what makes sense for your product and pay your people fairly so that you don’t have to scam your customers.
Excellent food. I got a cheeseburger on gluten free bun, cole slaw and red wine. Everything was great! The service was very fast and friendly. We came at about 5:30 and didn’t have to wait for a table, on a Tuesday.
I knew I was in for something good, but I didn’t expect to meet my soulmate in burrito form. I ordered the Local burrito and it was something I will be dreaming about until my next visit. I would’ve never imagined sweet potatoes in a burrito, but they were the star. Slightly crispy, naturally sweet, and the perfect contrast to the savory eggs, melty cheese, and all the other delicious flavors wrapped inside.
I went with a friend who’s gluten-free, and she raved about how legendary the tortilla was. Perfectly soft, just the right amount of chew, and the ideal tortilla-to-burrito ratio. No falling apart, no sogginess — just burrito bliss.
Also, can we give a round of applause to the bacon? Thick, chunky, and smoky — exactly how I like it. None of that sad little bacon-bit energy. It held its own among all the other ingredients.
Now, let’s talk about the honey sriracha. I don’t even have words. I’m not joking when I say I would fill a pool with it and swim in it. It was the perfect combo of sweet, tangy, and addictive. I would’ve bought a bottle on the spot if they sold it.
If you’re anywhere near Breckenridge YOU NEED TO GET THE LOCAL BURRITO!

Our server Scarlett was amazing! So knowledgeable about the menu and very conscientious. The food was wonderful and we had such a lovely time. I have celiac disease and she did a great job of helping me navigate the menu.
We had eaten here 3 years ago and had to come back. I had the Brisket lovers, The Beef was awesome and my wife is gluten sensitive and they had several things for her. Food was great and the service was awesome. Look forward to coming back!
The bison burger was good and got a gluten free bun, which was very tasty, not the average crumble apart breads. I also got a gluten free beer.
The price was very good and the waiter was very attentive and answered our ordering questions very well.
The gluten free crust was gummy and undercooked. I did like the dairy free cheese used. Try baking crust until lightly browned then add toppings and finish baking. Maybe it will help with gumminess.
Pretty good! We enjoyed our first visit this week, and while it's not the top of our list, we might come back one day.
It's a cool, modern/basic spot, with friendly stuff and good food options.
We tried the sirloin and the fish and chips. Both dishes were pretty good.
All of the gluten free options are clearly marked in the menu.
I wanted to give this review one or two stars because our food sucked. But, we only ordered two gluten free pizza's. I don't want to judge the entire menu by the bad pizza.
One pizza was pepperoni and one pizza was mushroom arugula. The ingredients of the topping seemed to be quality. So I guess I'm going to complain about the crust-- it ruined the meal. It was tasteless and dry. We each ordered our own pizza so we would have leftovers for the next day and it was not edible on day one and it was for sure not edible on day two.
The gluten free pizza gets less than 1 ⭐. We spent $50 on bad pizza. The GF pizza at Domino's is much better than this. (& Domino's GF pizza is about 3.5 stars out of 5).
Service was great. Nice atmosphere. Maybe worth a try--but skip the gluten free pizza.
Best food I tasted in Breckenridge. My dad said they had the best hot chocolate he had ever tasted so I’ll have to try some someday. My mom is celiac and was able to eat here and loved their gluten free bread (which any gluten free person can attest that good gluten free bread is very scarce). Came here as part of domis pacus and the staff was incredibly kind and happy to help. Highly recommend
Making this review solely for gluten free people. They have a lot labeled GF on the menu that isn’t actually gluten free. For example, their wings are made in a shared fryers as are their tortilla chips. I didn’t inquire about how other food items were prepared but given the misleading labeling I’m not sure I would trust them with other items.
So good! And they have vegan and gluten free options! They are always accommodating with my dietary restrictions with celiac, I’ve been here a few times and no symptoms, just let them know. Thank you!!!
Very friendly and quick service in a cute mountain themed spot. It's location is a little hidden but a must visit. Super fluffy pancakes! Delicious cheesy, crispy potatoes. They have gluten free options too and boozy breakfast drinks. So glad we found this place.
Came to dinner with my husband and father from out of town. Made reservations on a Wednesday and place had some tables open when we first sat and by the time dinner was done the place was packed. I had the gluten free rigatoni with vodka sauce and shrimp, my father had the bolognese and my husband had the lam sirloin for our entrees. We had calamari for an appetizer and asked the bartender to make us sangria. This was the best meal we had in Breckenridge. I couldn’t be happier with our meal and service. Try the restaurant for yourself as the 4 stars is not a fair rating as people did not complain about the food. I will be returning when I come back to Breck.
Casual and easy going atmosphere. Food was very good, and gluten free options are clearly marked on the menu. We had the mixed green salad with chicken and the ‘Merica burger. Employees were friendly and attentive.
Easily the best black coffee in Breck! Cozy, lovely atmosphere! Amazing dark roast and really great americano. They are the only shop in town who roast their own beans. They also had a good gluten free peanut butter cookie! Super Friendly and helpful staff!
Cool space and excellent service attention to detail. They accommodated my gluten free friend. Three of us ordered the Elk with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes at the recommendation of our server. The brussels were shaved and not very good. The entire plate of food was just over room temp. The same was the case for everyone at the table. Expected more for the level of cost and reputation.
Lots of gluten-free soup options! The chili and chicken corn chowder were delicious. I loved the gluten-free cornbread too. They can also make salads gluten-free if you ask!! Definitely a great place to get takeout.
Outstanding spot for your caffeine, breakfast/brunch fix, as well as for pastries. Gluten free options available, and our latté expert gives the barrista a thumbs up.
Adorably decorated, with a comfy couch/chairs, and a large table/bar to nosh at with the fam.
Great service with very kind folks!
We will absolutely be back again this week, and probably next week too!
Thank you for doing such a great job!
We are gluten free and it was hard to find people with knowledge around Breck. The owner was so nice and accommodating.
The food was so fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend it!
I can’t say enough great things about Twist. From the first moment you walk in you are greeted as if you are friends coming over for a dinner party. Our server went over the menu in detail explaining and answering all our questions. It was evident that everyone that worked there truly loved and enjoyed being there and it made us feel so welcomed. The food was beyond amazing. The creativity of the menu was such a fun experience. I wanted to try everything on it. My husband and I both got an appetizer and a main dish and not only were they outstandingly delicious the portions were so large I wished I lived closer so I could take home my leftovers to enjoy again. The cocktails we both tried were unique and tasty. Our biggest disappointment was that we didn’t have enough room for dessert! The passion the chef has for food and cooking is evident in everything we ate. Very Gluten Free friendly!
DONT MISS!!! Shockingly good food and drinks with the best Mountain View’s in Sunmit. Enough off the beaten path to be accessible, had brunch today and it was fantastic. Also, as a celiac, they easily mod the plates and it makes me so happy.
All the sauces are made in house and are gluten free. There are MANY gluten free options and they take very good care, cautious for celiac. Happy hour was fantastic $6 snacks and drink specials. Very wonderful staff and a great vibe. Highly suggest.

Katie and Ryan took good care of us tonight at the boot We were greeted and promptly seated. Katie told us a few of her favorites on the menu they loaded fries with green chili was flavorful and delicious, The gluten-free pizza had nice mushrooms and pepperoni and with a crisp crust. You salad that they brought us with the balsamic vinaigrette on the side was also delicious cucumbers tomatoes sliced fresh Parmesan hit the spot. The Philly cheese steak was delicious as well and came with abundant french fries. Had the grannies upside down apple pie it was delicious. We ordered too much food for two people. We also got two pizzas to go which were very reasonably priced pepperoni and jalapeno.
The atmosphere is nice can watch sports and the trees are all around looking out the window.
Nice surprise for an onsite restaurant.
Not sure why all of the less than five star reviews but this place was great good food and reasonably priced.
Super grateful to have good food ask for Katie she's super sweet. 🙏
This is my absolute favorite coffee shop in Breckenridge. The staff is so incredibly thoughtful. I needed gluten free options and he stood with me, broke down the menu and created something that was DELICIOUS. Also their coffee is great. Which is originally why I came in. And old school hip hop. Can’t say enough about this place.
The mountains of Breckenridge are epic and the atmosphere is authentic; but the actual treat for visiting this mountainside village is TROLLEY CREPES! You should never visit Breckenridge without getting what they call the "Traditional". They can also serve it gluten-free and it tastes as good as the regular crepe. The combination of cinnamon, honey, sugar, and butter should have you running to the end of the strip. I promise you'll never regret it.
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere out on the back patio.
1 star deduction because we were charged $24.50 for a gluten free 10” pizza. That’s ridiculous, even for Breckenridge.
Also $3 & $3.50 for a can of soda. Why the difference in price? Weird.
We would go back though. Good food is surprisingly hard to find here.
Their gluten free options were delicious especially their English muffins! So happy to have found this charming little spot. It’s walking distance from Main Street too!
Food and drinks were fantastic! The blackened shrimp tacos and jackfruit tacos were amazing. My sister-in-law has celiac disease and there are plenty of gluten free options and the cooks were very knowledgeable to prepare dishes separately. It’s an added bonus that there is easy parking since it’s not on Main Street. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!
What else can I say… the hype is real! This place absolutely deserves the amazing reviews. The ambiance was modern and comfortable, the service was so kind and accommodating, and the food was incredible. I am gluten free, our server was very helpful but the menu already had clearly marked gluten free options, and I couldn’t have been happier with my order! Butternut bisque and salmon were my highlights. This place should absolutely be at the top of your list in Breckenridge. Get a reservation in advance!
We just visited here, and what a lovely experience! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The space was cozy and clean. The food and beverage options were plentiful: my kids were able to have dairy free hot chocolates. There were lots of gluten free menu options that we will have to try next time too! Thank you..we will be back!
Party of 2 women, Ordered the whiskey sour and a marg on the rocks. Whiskey sour was in the top 3 I've had from a non-whiskey specialized establishment. We shared the 3 tacos and 2 sides (blackened mahi mahi, lime shrimp, beer batter mahi mahi, with side of Brussels sprouts and Spanish rice. All very seasoned and tasty. Gluten free option for the tacos. Portions were average. 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. Busy, but was able to get seated right away. Food came out pretty quickly. Would return.
We had the best experience we could have asked for at Rootstalk. We went to celebrate our engagement the night I proposed and the whole team went above and beyond to make the night special.
After making the reservation I worked with Liz to plan the big surprise dinner. She was very helpful and made sure the whole staff was aware of our big news and that we had the best seat in the house.
The dinner was incredible!! From the moment we walked in we were swept off our feet with congratulations and excitement. Teddy came and personally congratulated us and provided a toast for our occasion. I might have remembered more names if our heads weren’t spinning from the excitement and attention the staff was giving us. The service was top notch.
The tasting menu was stellar and so were the wine pairings. From the smoked sturgeon amuse-bouche to the sorbet with a special note for us, the entire meal only elevated the night. The chef and their team tailored the whole menu to accommodate a gluten intolerant diet and didn’t miss a beat. The roasted squash with black sesame tahini was particularly scrumptious (her words).
As if all that weren’t enough Liz and the team at Rootstalk came through again when we emailed the next day to find out details about the toasting bubbles and meal that we wanted to remember. I’m so happy I chose to celebrate our engagement at Rootstalk and they will be a highlight from one of the most special nights of our lives. Thank you Rootstalk team!
Waited patiently in the cold for 45 minutes so we could enjoy a GF Crepe. When my kids reached the counter, they were told that they are out of gluten free crepes. If you are out, you should announce early. My daughter is GF because she has #celiac. It's not a choice.
If I could give this place zero stars I would and I’m never this harsh. My husband, son and I walk In and there’s very few people in the actual restaurant, we go up to the host and he looks up from his phone, asks how many, grabs menus and walks over to a table without addressing us again. He throws the menus, genuinely throws them, on the table and walks away which already set a negative tone but we sat down and started looking at the menu. We ordered drinks and food at the same time, unfortunately I was on a strict diet because of breastfeeding our son so I had to order a plain burger with a gluten free bun, wasn’t expective anything spectacular but when it came out, the bun was hard/stale and definitely not gluten free (didn’t even ring up on the receipt as gluten free) and the burger was overcooked to the point where the beef was crumbing and completely unseasoned. Everything else we ordered, French fries and tater tots, were extremely overcooked as well. Our server, who was the host never checked on us and we had to flag him down to get the check so we could just leave. Extremely disappointing given how positive most of the reviews are, not to mention if someone mentions allergy or dietary restrictions, they shouldn't have to question that what they're eating is safe. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
