Absolutely worth the expense and experience! I come here to treat myself. I sit alone at the bar. I LOVE having a server anticipate my needs. The woman working the bar 10/10/24 did this beautifully. There were points during my time there, where I made soft eye contact and she knew what I needed, even when making drinks and serving other people! Impeccable service! The food is phenomenal! I ordered Brussel sprouts, butternut squash soup and a dragon fruit Arnold Palmer. This was my lunch yesterday, and I’m salivating thinking about it. If you like high quality thought out food this is great a place to be mindful about eating. The flavor combinations are spot on. I’ve ordered the spaghetti squash casserole, and gluten free pita bread, both delicious.

I booked a reservation for 3, to celebrate my spouses birthday with our teenage son. We had a fantastic time. I put in the notes when booking that I have celiac and must eat gluten free, and that we were celebrating a bday. They had hand written card for my spouse upon arrival. The food was delicious, our server was knowledgeable and attentive and he even brought a bday champagne toast and a bday dessert. It was a lovely time. The ambiance was nice , they validate parking in the esplanade garage. Fabulous time. And we all cleared our plates. Thank you Flint for making his bday special.

First time trying Hummus Express at a wedding from their food truck. The pita sandwich chicken and gyro were awesome. I also the fried potatoes and they were divine! Definitely going to check it out for lunch in Tempe at the restaurant location. They also have gluten-free falafel. Great Flavors!!

this place was SO accommodating to our bachelorette, and the food was amazing (the girls said it was the best pasta they've had all year!). Their team added a table so our group could dine outside, and even moved us so we wouldn't have to leave early or after the designated 2 hour window. I worked with the hostess to have champagne at the table when we arrived. For food allergies... I have celiac, and the server and hostesses were super clear and supportive of my dietary needs. Our server Shaun, was FAB! Really lovely and even brought us complimentary shots to celebrate the bride! Really a great experience all around. So thankful for their team!

We went to Taverna to celebrate our NAU Graduate. Even though it was Graduation weekend and we were unfortunately very late for our reservation Taverna graciously accommodated us and had us seated immediately. We were a large group ordering multiple dishes and they were all outstanding! The only one we didn't like was the lunch special rice bowl. Our host actually recommended something else and unfortunately I didn't listen but I should have! He was right it wasn't very good but that was okay because everything else was amazing! Very grateful for all their care for dietary options- makes it perfect for a large group. We had someone with a nut allergy and they got us a scoop of ice cream which was really love. Loved the gluten free chocolate cake! Honestly my family and I had the BEST time here. It felt like a giant party and we were so well taken care of. Thank you, Taverna! You are doing great.

My favorite restaurant in Fountain Hills. The food is always great, especially their omelets and pizza. As someone who can't have dairy or gluten, there are many options, including gluten-free toast and pizza crust. The staff are so friendly too and you just can't beat the view. 10/10 every time.

Gluten free pita is the smaller fluffy one. The regular pita looks gluten free because its thin & dry looking. This had me SO nervous & confused but the fluffy one was SOOOOO good & definitely GF. Thank you!

I love this place! Amazing food. Well balanced dishes both in terms of flavor as well as nutrients, and presentation. Diverse but consistent and not overwhelming menu. Lots of gluten free options. I've been here twice and each time everything was perfectly cooked. Meat, sides, veggies, deserts - everything. Not overcooked, not undercooked, just right. In addition to great and skilled chiefs you have nice and attentive staff welcoming you to a pretty authentic looking "old" American house.

What a fantastic impromptu lunch stop! Team was kind and professional, welcoming and seated us promptly. Our server, Curuas, was very attentive. We were a party of 3. One guest has a severe gluten allergy. Curuas, introduced us to management, who assured us all the food was packaged and prepared separately. What a surprise, and a very nice touch. Out of town on a work trip during our anniversary, we’re so glad we found this place. The atmosphere, service, and food was impeccable. From their bread and salads to their filet mignon, lamb, and desserts, everything was delicious. They had many gluten free options and were able to adjust other menu items to make them gluten free. Highly recommend the strawberry rhubarb whiskey sour. Of course the view was incredible. Despite their dress code saying ‘elegant casual’ there were people in jeans, shorts, tshirts, and even gym attire, so apparently you don’t need to worry about being underdressed.

Tons of gluten free options. Will also give sliced cucumbers in addition to the pita bread served at the table. The whole restaurant is filled with unbelievably delicious spices. Is very authentic in atmosphere and food. Went with a Persian friend who commented that everything reminded her of her Grandmother’s cooking. Will for sure be back. Always order the Mast-o-musir, it is the Persian “ranch” especially for the rice. It is the best sauce you will ever taste.

The food options available is good for those who require vegan or GF items; but in general the food is just OK. Some of the food is really bland but then other items are spiced too strong, e.g. too many pickled onions and jalapenos in a salad. If avoiding gluten, getting the rice option instead of pita can be disappointing since the rice is often hard because it is undercooked. Also, the falafel which should be crispy or crunchy was actually hard on the outside. The baba ganoush, hummus, and some of the other starters/tapas are good as are the gyro and lavash pizza (when there aren't too many jalapenos overpowering the other ingredients). Nice place but be discerning on which items to order.

Extensive menu of flat-bread\pita entrees, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. comfy medium-size dining area, orders are served to cust table, including beer&wine. Fairly quiet, no loud sports broadcasts or music. Makes for comfy gathering by joining a few tables. Easy to find in the stripmall and plenty parking. Convient at 32nd st &IndianSchool. Tables were sticky when we were there.

Hailey was absolutely amazing in the to go area. The kitchen messed up my order. I have to get the GF pita for my celiac and they used a regular pita. I went back in to ask and she was all over it. Apologized went straight to the kitchen and they got it out to me within minutes. Grabbed me a drink while I was waiting and was very kind. Probably the only location I’ll order to go from.

Truly outstanding service! Bobby and Brittany were exceptionally attentive, kind, and personable throughout our visit. My mom has celiac disease and, while we were aware of the restaurant’s gluten-sensitive menu, she was still a bit nervous about potential cross-contamination. The manager (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) personally came to our table to reassure us that all necessary precautions would be taken. He even brought her meal out separately to ensure her peace of mind. The staff went above and beyond, and we felt genuinely cared for. This is a wonderful and safe option for anyone with gluten sensitivity, and we wholeheartedly recommend it!

So good I went two nights in a row. The service is excellent, the flavors are exquisite, and they are very accommodating for dairy and gluten intolerances. This is by far the most satisfying meal I’ve experienced in Tucson in 2025. Everything was so insanely delicious, all of it. I would give this place a thousand stars if I could.

We used to go here with our daughter when she lived in town, but hadn't been there again until recently. The manager, server, and food were good with the exception of the change in the Gluten Free bun recently to Against the Grain, which has dairy and is like a brick. Please change back to something that isn't so hard and doesn't have dairy in it!!

I have Celiac Disease and have been confident in my ability to ask questions and advocate to safely eat at restaurants with a lot of success until today. After reading reviews from fellow Celiacs on Find Me Gluten Free, I was excited about having a GF Pita. I ordered and said I had an allergy to gluten and the lady was nice and told me that the gyro meat had gluten but the chicken was safe and she would let the kitchen know. Then another lady came out of the kitchen and told me that they could refund my money because of the shared grill to warm the pita and the meat that they could not make it. I asked about using a separate pan or even some foil to just warm the pita up. I got a HARD NO. I have NEVER felt so dismissed. I’m not going to lie, after walking down to Chipotle, I cried a little bit which I have never done in my 10+ years of having Celiac. Do not offer Gluten Free if you are not willing to take the steps necessary to make it safe for those who actually need to be GF. A piece of foil and a clean pan can go a long way.
