There was no one monitoring the front. It's all kiosk. I had an ingredient question about a sauce, no one I could ask, and their menu was not forth coming. I only knew their gluten-free nuggets were also nightshade free because I'd asked last time we were in - when there were cashiers. There is a timer for when your food is supposed to be done, that flipped to 'coming soon' for everyone as the timers ran out. I get wanting to operate lean, but at the expense of customer satisfaction/service?
Regarding the food. I remember it being decent last time. This time, however, both hubby and I were so-so with our chicken. We both thought the ginger slaw was bland (barely any ginger). The "ceasar"ish salad was delicious, though. The other plus is they have that pebble/sheet ice which is my favorite (I'm not a soda drinker so I put it in my water).
I love all the options for healthy foods here! I’m gluten free and dairy free and I still have a ton of options. The food is always delicious and usually, fast. The service is great and the staff is very friendly.
The only issue I have with the place is the lack of thought when it comes to the line. The register is near the door, so when it gets busy the line is usually out the door. Which is not ideal in the Arizona heat.
FOOD I could eat. They offer gluten free options. Separate fryer for the fries, bonus. Great quality food. We sat outside and people watching was awesome lol
I chose this place for the extensive gluten free menu that did NOT say "Gluten friendly" because let's be real here - I am NOT friendly with the gluten and it ain't friendly with me. Vito's Gilbert was absolutely delicious! The girls and I met up here for dinner to catch up and hang out.
Everyone loved their food and we all chose different dishes. We ordered chicken salad, GF pasta, GF pizza and GF baked hot wings - which were spicy enough to burn my lips and remind me how tasty they were minutes later. Their ranch dip that came with the wings was equally as good and extinguished the wing sauce heat pretty well. I ordered this amazing pizza called the Siciliano with their HOUSE MADE GLUTEN FREE CRUST! You heard me, people... House made crust that was safe for me to eat and I didn't get sick! Yay! The toppings were super fresh and the crust wasn't too heavy or too thin. I prefer a little crunch with my thinner crust and Vito's hit the mark. The drinks kept coming and I never had to ask for refills or more of anything because our waiter was on top of it. In fact, our waiter was very friendly and he made sure to take extra care for my extremely sensitive Celiac's disease. They do have a shared kitchen so always speak with your wait staff and give detailed info on your food sensitivities. He was even thoughtful enough to ask if I had any other allergies or sensitivities before proceeding with my order - which is always nice because not all waiters are created equal but Vito's seems to pick solid ones. Everyone loved their food, their drinks and the service. The prices weren't crazy for my accommodations and if I ever bring any vegan friends, Vito's has a full vegan menu available as well. There was literally a little something for everyone to enjoy and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. I'm bringing the hubster back here because any place willing to make gluten free crust from scratch and have a cauliflower crust on stand by is a good place with me. The restaurant isn't too noisy or crowded. There is nothing worse than having great food but being cramped or packed in like sardines. Not at Vito's. The tables and whole layout is perfectly spaced, has good volume control and the food is spectacular. I haven't visited any other locations but this one makes me wanna try them all. Writing this review has me salivating so I may just have to stop by on my way home from work today and pick up another GF pizza. What can I say? I'm hooked.
First of all the food is AMAZING! my husband asked for my potato without butter just plain with meat and the lady with long brown hair working tonight gave him an attitude and told him potatos come with butter. Then he asked what bbq sauce was gluten free and with her attitude said any other special requests. The reason we got dinner here tonight was because of the allergy menu and everyone raving on the gluten free app then. The young guy with the goatee was super nice and went in the back and got a gf pudding. Might come back if ms attitude doesn't work there anymore because that's very dangerous to us with allergies.
Always love to eat here! Can't beat the burgers, so fresh and they taste really good! The service is good and curtious. They also offer gluten free hamberger buns, for those folks that are gluten sensitive just have to let them know .
My friend loves this place, so we went there for lunch.
I had my own tea. Therefore, I did not order a drink.
A six inch gluten-free, thin crust pizza with berely no cheese...
I paid 40 dollars.
They lost me as a customer on the first trial.
This was our first time to Buck & Rider and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience we had. Our waitress was particularly helpful and knowledgeable about their gluten free options since 3 of us have celiacs. We were very impressed with the many items that could be made without gluten! And also happy to be reassured the fryer was dedicated gluten free etc - they take extra precautions to avoid cross contamination. We had our 10 and 14 year old children and the rest of the group was adults and everyone was very pleased with their dishes. The fish was so fresh and delicious and the steaks were perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. We tried several appetizers and salads and everything was fresh and healthy with lots of vegetables and nothing too heavy or overdone. The service was friendly and professional and efficient… our water glasses were frequently refilled which we appreciated. We will definitely be back!
Did Gluten free well. Is is indicated on their menu. Gabriel did a fine job of taking care of us. Thanks Gabriel! There were quite a few choices and the food and drinks were tasty. Portions were huge... So dinner for tomorrow too. They seemed to take the need to be gluten Free very seriously, which I really appreciate. Atmosphere was nice... But casual attire was fine. We WILL go back. The food was VERY good! No wait for us. Service was as expected or better.
Hello, my gluten-free Celiac friends,
I ordered the gluten-free pizza from this restaurant, The gentleman on the phone was so kind and he explained to me how they Make it in a separate sheet but in the shared oven and prep it in a different area with the change of gloves .Honestly it was so delicious I ate it with no problem. I have celiac it was cooked perfectly. I did not get any reaction I ordered plain simple cheese pizza with pepperoncinis. Honestly the 10-in was not enough lol definitely ordering again from them.
Our family of 8 had never been to a Shake Shack before and decided to try it on a whim of "mom doesn't want to cook". We were all left fairly underwhelmed. The staff was kind, attentive and helpful. The food was just ok. Mid at best. We did like that they had GF buns for our celiac son, but they do not have a dedicated GF fryer, so there was definitely cross-contamination. Probably would not return again for the price.
The staff is clearly happy at their jobs and therefore treats customers without any attitude; that alone is refreshing enough, but then their drinks are delicious as well. Their bold use of flavor combinations make for adventurous seasonal offerings and each is expertly crafted and served. The gluten free donuts are phenomenal! I could go broke ordering their Ube Maple donuts.
At 1st I was a bit annoyed they web site said they carried Gluten Free bread. My mom and I decided to stay she could find something to eat . She had 1/2 salad and soup and I had the Ruben the food was delicious. The portions were more than enough..
I will be going back there again
Amazing place!! Alicia was very helpful with the whole process. And Ben took great care of us as well, reassuring us with everything for our daughter that has a gluten allergy. 10/10 recommend!!!
Food was good, reasonably priced menu and nice selection of gluten free options. On the downside we went for lunch on a weekday and tables were dirty and even the paper towel roll (in lieu of napkins) on our table seemed questionable. I wanted to love it but couldn’t get past the feeling of uncleanliness.
We came here because they had a gluten free menu on their website but we're told they were out of the all of those options when we arrived, which was the whole reason we chose OHSO Gilbert. So we ate there, but left hungry, which was unfortunate considering how expensive the bill was. Also, there was something going on with our waitress, she kept bringing the wrong things. I do like the place, but I wish we had a better experience.
Went here for brunch since they have gluten-free options. It does get busy. We decided to sit outside (in June) - it was about 11am and with their fans and mister system, it did not feel hot or uncomfortable. We got a protein bowl and avo toast. The protein bowl was amazing. Got their signature coffee. It was good. Good balance of cream and sweetener, for me.
We ordered 4 total pizzas. 2 cheese, 1 Hawaiian, and 1 Gluten Free. All were supposed to be delivered. When the order came the person who delivered the pizza didn’t even ring the door bell, just left it on the bench. Then through a mix up, the gluten free pizza, didn’t get ordered. This required us to come and pick it up. However, when we got home we found this pizza was BURNT beyond edible! I don’t understand how an employee would allow a pizza to leave the kitchen in this condition! I expect a refund or a credit for a free Gliten Free Pizza in the future, if we decide to come back.
Great food, great service, still fast when busy, and extremely sweet. The memes are right about chick-fil-a employees being angels. I asked for no ice in my drink and a gluten free bun and she even checked it to make sure right before handing it to me (other places usually just hand it over incorrect and hurry me along). Been going here for months and it’s always been exceptional.
This bar and restaurant had great music, a good atmosphere and good food.
You're easily going to spend $20 before drinks. Entrees are under 20, but add a side or an app and you're easily over 20 with a tip. I paid about 30 with tip and I just had a lemonade as a drink.
For being a Friday, I expected it to be busier but I was there closer to dinner time, not late-night.
I got the Barbacoa tacos and they were very good, if a little too salty for my liking (and I like salt!) They needed the rice and beans to offset how salty they were. I guess it's in the name. Good, spicy heat but not overbearing.
Everyone else's food looked great as well, especially the carne asada which was a huge portion.
Great allergen markings. Mexican restaurants are known among the GF crowd but they rarely mark their menus despite being naturally gluten free. This place had clear and thorough markings for allergens. Thank you!
The service wasn't noticeably slow, but there were some times that it lagged between drinks and ordering food.
The real highlight was the full bar and live DJ. When we arrived the music was a bit fast and a little too obscure for me, but it mellowed-out in a good way towards the middle of our time there. Having someone dedicated to music is a rare feature and we appreciated it.
This place is bright and has a lot of TVs playing. If you want to go out and still catch the game this would be a good option for you, but it didn't quite seem like a sports bar. This place is hitting a lot of notes that you'd usually see individual places hit (sports bar/restaurant/club/bar) but in so doing it doesn't really specialize. It's kind of inch-deep, mile-wide. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a sports bar, but it's not rowdy. It's a Mexican place and family friendly, but it's modern, pristine, and not cliché. It's a bar with a DJ, but it's relaxed and laid-back enough to just enjoy the atmosphere: not too loud and no dance floor.
Overall I say give it a try. It's also right in the middle of several other dining and drinking options.
I come here every time I need my car serviced. Service and food are always great. Today Sam went above and beyond with her patience and help. My orders can be complicated being dairy and gluten free, but she was on it. She was quick to assist with a miscommunication with the kitchen as well. To be fair, the kitchen did a great job and were unaware of gluten in one of the products.
I have celiac disease and I’m super sensitive to gluten cross contamination. Have eaten here several times with no issues. And they have the best chips ever
The most high-end dining experience in Gilbert. The attention to details and service are unmatched.
Food is delicious, and their are many gluten-free options. I love coming here and can't wait to return.
Loved the food and coffee here. Staff was extremely friendly and fast. Can't wait to go back and try more food.
Would like to see more gluten free options for my friend. Also, the serving size of the crepe was a bit small for the price but it was delicious.
Very unprofessional. Girl who answered the phone couldn’t answer any questions. Then she put me on hold to check but didn’t actually put me on hold and was telling someone that she didn’t want to do it. It’s a gluten free order. Then I think she realized she hadn’t put me on hold and hung up on me. If you can’t properly train employees then don’t pretend to accommodate dietary restrictions.
Been going here for 5 years or so and the pizza is excellent. The crust including the gluten-free crust is excellent, flavorful, and not greasy. The toppings options appeal both to classic and adventurous taste buds. I ordered several pizzas tonight for East Coast Mediterranean family members who have eaten many pizzas and it was a hit for kids and adults. Every time I take someone here, they remember it and want to visit again. The service is also always super friendly and helpful. This place is such a gem in our community. Thank you for your exceptional food artistry and exceptional human spirit.
Good pizza. A bit of a wait but they were training a new cook. They made the wrong pizza but corrected it and the manager comped one for next visit. We will be back as they are a great option for people that need to be gluten free.
My family and I love the freshness and quality this amazing cafe gives! The customer service is always outstanding as well. The best part is they’re 100% gluten free! We love Miss Marcy she’s the best:)
Always a favorite lunch spot for me. I've moved away from Arizona, but used to visit this place very frequently. Every time I'm in town, I go to Someburros just about every day on my visit. Thankful that there are Gluten Friendly dining options. Their refried beans are my favorite item!!

We’ve been coming here for years and appreciate having a gluten-free cookie option due to celiac. Unfortunately, this location no longer lets us get it with the combo, even though the menu says “any cookie” and doesn’t say gluten-free is excluded. The price difference is only about 50 cents, but we now have to pay around $4 extra just to get the gluten-free cookie and same drink . Hoping management will update this policy so people with gluten free needs aren’t punished
Ordered from GrubHub - noted Gluten allergy and to omit any sauce with Soy Sauce in it... got my order with a note they included GF soy sauce for me! THANK YOU! I'll check this place out in person next time - food's great, fresh! <3
