As someone with Celiac Disease, eating out is VERY limited! I am grateful for Grill Marks. Been to Greenville and Columbia multiple times over the past decade. I have never had an issue with gluten cross-contamination here! I appreciate the fries, etc are also dedicated gluten free. My burger is always cooked as ordered. For the price, the value of food quality and service level are completely on par. I will continue to return and if I have a singular experience below the norm, I will still give them another shot!
I love the food. Patrick helped me out with picking gluten free and vegan options. I chose gluten-free vegan breadsticks with marinara sauce. They were delicious in flavor and texture. I highly recommend them. You can get four or six with marinara sauce. I got the six piece to share and then I chose the gluten-free vegan crust with vegan cheese and white garlic, pizza sauce. I chose to build your own pizza with chickpeas, caramelized, onions, and I believe it was called roasted tomatoes. It was so good and so filling. My only complaint about this restaurant is it’s very hard to find because the only sign is on the front door. They need a bigger sign that says here I am. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.. and lastly, the pizza reheated with my leftovers was as good as when I first got it.
I ordered the gluten-free crust, which was surprisingly good. The crust had a somewhat chewy texture that reminded me of eating wheat. They use quality ingredients to make the pizza but it was on the pricy side. A 12 inch gf pizza with 4 toppings was around $35. We also ordered house salads, which weren't anything special. I would come here again for the pizza.
Love this place! Great place for brunch. Grabbed some coffee and avocado toast. Lots of gluten free options and vegan options. The store side had a great selection of grocery and premade food options. I can’t wait to come back and try everything!
Fantastic experience. The food was so good! I had a gluten-free pizza, then got a gluten-free s'mores pizza. Both were delicious. My husband got... idk see picture. He ordered another after eating the first one. They aren't really big, but they're enough for one person. We also went there at 1030, so we were eating off the after-hours menu. Beautiful night and location.
Met friends for dinner and the service was top notch and the food and wine was amazing. I have a wheat allergy and most of the menu is gluten free. I had the shrimp kabob with basmati rice. It was delicious. Highly recommend. Make a reservation! Paid parking lot across the street.
Fig and prosciutto on gluten free crust has us coming back at least once a month. I hate for this place to get any more busy than it already is, but if you haven't tried them yet, definitely do. They may become a new favorite for you as well. Also, if street parking is full, there's a free lot one block away.
We visited Greenville and were excited to know there was a diner, and it did not disappoint. The gluten-free pancakes are pretty tasty.

I have serious gluten and shellfish allergies and Red Robin did a amazing job keeping my food safe from cross contamination!! Had cheese burger and fries and no reactions! So nice to eat somewhere where they take your allergies very seriously!! Service was great, food was great! If you have gluten allergies and want a great tasting burger try this Red Robin restaurant!
So glad we decided to try this restaurant! Gluten-free and Vegan options that catered to our entire family! Delicious food and the staff were delightful, which made the experience even better. We loved the water station options, hot, cold-flat and cold-bubbly.
My boyfriend is trying to be keto. We went to this restaurant and they made us a pizza without a crust. It was absolutely delicious. I didn’t even miss the crust. They do have gluten-free crust options. I’m gluten-free and I look forward to trying those.
My friend and I had a great experience at Willy Taco. Shaun and Sydney took amazing care of us and the food was plentiful and delicious.
I am gluten free for medical reasons, so Sydney offered me corn tortillas fried on the griddle in place of the tortilla chips that are made with shared oil. The kitchen forgot to leave the cilantro rice out of my Veg Head Bowl, so Shaun cheerfully noted that I also didn't want the slaw containing cilantro, and took my bowl back to the kitchen. When he brought it back, he had also had the cooks not include crema in my bowl because he noticed that also contains cilantro!!
My bowl was delicious. My friend had the cauliflower and southern tacos and the crispy Brussels sprouts, and loved all of her food. We will definitely be back when we return to the Greenville area. Thanks Shaun and Sydney!!
My fellow Gluten-free adventurers (because eating out GF is always an adventure, right?), if you're experiencing sandwich envy, please know that Jason's Deli has GF bread substitution for all their deli sandwiches. No...we're not talking the fancy panini sandwiches...not that I even know what a panini tastes like with being gluten-free for so long. But if you want a plain ole sandwich on Udi's type bland GF bread - toasted (!), Jason's got you, babe. 😘
I still think their salads are the tastier option, but now you've got choices, my friend. And isn't that what we all want? That and free ice cream, of course.
Thanks, Jason, wherever you are.
The positives: They have a gluten-friendly menu. The gluten-free bun was excellent. The angus burger was very good.
The not-so-positives: The fountain drink was flat. The kettle chips were ho hum. The service was merely adequate. So it was a mixed bag, and next time I'll probably just order the meal to-go. But I will definitely come back, and give it another shot.
Called ahead to ask for a gluten free menu. They didn't have one (around 12pn), we showed up to our reservation at 530 to gluten free menus and several staff communicating and checking in on us.
recommended for food and allergen safety ~ get the truffle edamame and the nigiri chef choice!
This is an amazing family friendly Italian restaurant with lots of options and daily specials. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well as inside. Right when you walk in you see the delicious cakes, pastries, and gelato they have to offer. We started off with Aperolspritz with Prosecco, calamari, and spinach and artichoke dip. The calamari portion was small but still tasted great. The spinach and artichoke dip was amazing on the pizza toast that comes with it. We also had three types of their pizza toast include a gluten-free crust. The regular crust tasted like flatbread and was hard towards the crust. The sauce on the Margarita Pizza was extremely salty. Chicken Alfredo was ok and very thick and clumpy. But the highlight was the Limoncetto Cake. Very most and delicious. The gelato was icy and tasted like store bought icecream. Wouldn’t recommend. Overall great atmosphere but would recommend some updates to the menu.
Thank you Lane for your amazing customers service. You were very knowledgeable about celiac and the cross contamination possibilities. Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure your staff took the proper measure. Your efforts did not go unnoticed.
Came here to celebrate Father’s Day/my birthday in Greenville. This place inside the Grand Bohemian Lodge looked like a wonderful spot to have lunch and celebrate. The ambiance was warm, well lit with the natural light coming through the large windows. The bar was behind a beautiful counter and behind that was an open kitchen. A lovely manager named Veronica stopped by to wish me a happy birthday and checked on us. Our server Olga brought us over a round of bubbly to celebrate which was super nice and we enjoyed a nice bottle or rose during lunch.
My MIL enjoyed her delicious vanilla custard French toast, while my FIL had a nice light salad. Hubby was able to order the burger with a GF bun since he has celiac and I got their version of a fish and chips sandwich. The fish was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy batter, layered with some slaw on a toasted bun. I would’ve liked just a bit more seasoning or salt on the slaw but it all went well together texturally in the sandwich. They later brought out my favorite dessert ever which was crème brûlée and even had a cute HBD chocolate sign on it. Olga was very attentive and had a great personality. She made the experience very enjoyable and we had a great time.
Oh no! I forgot to get a picture, but my burger was amazing! Thick, juicy in-house ground filet mignon and prime rib. Great portion size, I couldn't even finish it even without the bun! No gluten-free bun, but they do have a gluten free lemon pound cake which I had to get to go. I took a couple little bites of it, comes with strawberries, some syrups and whipped cream... my to go container is pictured. Can't wait to dig in! We really enjoyed our bartender, Stella, our service was fabulous! Spouse had the triple play which was three different sliders, all were delicious, definitely recommend that too! You have several options on sides that are included. It was a hard decision I ended up just choosing fries, my husband chose to have the mac 'n cheese and was also served complimentary cornbread (not gluten free).
Amy and her team at Tacozzini were amazing, handling a massive takeout order for our wedding party on 4.21.23 and hand-delivering it to Wisteria Augusta Salon where we were getting our hair and makeup done for my wedding last week. They made sure everything was labeled (we had some gluten-free and vegan options included), and even offered to bring over nice table settings and catering silverware to elevate our experience! We declined, in case our hair and makeup finished early and we had to eat and dash (or eat in hair chairs). Everyone loved their food and it was such a great spot, highly recommend Tacozzini for anyone needing gluten-free, dairy-free, or just delicious options for dinners, lunches, or takeout!!
We were there for over two hours. When we finally received our food one of the pizzas was clearly forgotten and the excuse we received was “the gluten bread has to bake longer than regular dough.” Horrible excuse, just admit it was forgotten. Other tables around us arrived, received their food, and left in the time we were there. No apology for the service or time it took. Dals has started going downhill.
Had a great meal. Shrimp and grits for me (gluten free). My dining partners had strict vegetarian requirements and the waitstaff went above and beyond to make changes to accommodate expanding their vegetarian options. Special mention to Dave!
We were greeted warmly when we walked in! Our daughter has gluten sensitivity allergies and the waitress (Rachel I believe) was so caring to her because we learned she too was also gluten free.
A lot of their items can be substituted with non-fried shrimp or even the sauces changed out to accommodate. Our girl was thrilled to try the Rice Krispies (which is a happy hour item most days) and to have something like everyone else was big for her.
All the pictures are from out two visits (so far). On our second visit, we had Rachel’s brother (Danny I think) and he was just as kind and made sure our daughter was well taken care of. Great place when you need to have variety with limited abilities beyond your control. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This place has had our favorite tacos every. Every single family member has loved their meal. I loved the shrimp ceviche taco and the the fish tacos. They were full of flavor and super good. The chocolate pot was amazing too. Being a celiac I was able to order from the menu and have desert. We can’t wait to go back next time we are in town… best part is that those working were so very nice.
We took our friends from out of state to the Greenville location and it was our first time trying the restaurant. Recently, one of our friends in the group was diagnosed with a severe gluten allergy so we had a restaurant in mind after doing our homework at who has gluten free menus but it was packed so we tried Sticky Fingers because it had good reviews. Right when we walked in the hostess was very friendly and greeted us immediately. Before being sat I asked if they had a gluten-free menu available and the hostess said they did! One of the servers (shorter woman in her 40sish) overheard and said “we don’t have a gluten-free menu all we serve is meat and vegetables, nothing would have gluten in it” and continued to talk under her breath and laugh. She then proceeded to tell the hostess to seat us in a different section right in front of us. We were all shocked. Just about all bread, barbecue sauce, and other dressing have gluten in it so she clearly didn’t know what she was saying. At the time there were maybe three or four different tables sat in the entire place so it wasn’t like she was busy. All five of the adults in our group had served in a restaurant at one point so we completely understand being overwhelmed when it’s busy, but it wasn’t. Anyways the hostess sat us and in fact did give her a gluten-free menu because THEY DO HAVE ONE but there are only two items on it because all of the other ones were crossed out with sharpie. Our server (younger girl with tattoos) was pretty attentive to our table and made sure we had everything we needed. The food tasted fine and the price wasn’t too bad but that first server gave us all a bad taste in our mouth for sticky fingers. It was pretty embarrassing to take our friends to a downtown that we had bragged about and to experience this kind of service at the first restaurant we ate at. I understand the “gluten-free” fad can bring on some eye roll‘s but it isn't a fad for everyone, sometimes it’s actually medically necessary. If you are going to be in the service industry try to have some grace for those customers who aren’t rude.
Cava is like a (more delicious) version of Chipolte but with Greek type food. You can choose a bowl or build your own. I must eat gluten free food, and I was happy that everything is GF except the falafel and pita. The food was flavorful and healthy feeling. The staff changed gloves when I asked. I'll be back. It's great to have a restaurant that can prepare food for for my dietary restriction.
Thank you so much for having a Gluten Free menu! It was super helpful to order with our daughter who is a Celiac. The food was delicious and you completely understood about cross contamination. Our family enjoyed the GF pulled pork, GF beans, GF cheesy potatoes, ribs, mac and cheese, and corn bread. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!
What an incredible place!! The calamari appetizer was the best we'd ever had. The gluten free options and specials alone were top notch. We have already planned our next date night back at Sciortino's 🍷Be sure to have a glass of their incredible wine.
This place was awesome! The food was great. My husband said the bun was hands down the best bun he'd ever had in his whole life and my gluten free bun was great too! Definitely try the pork belly fries. And the staff was all super friendly! We will definitely come back.
Stopped
in for a quick lunch, food was amazing and service was excellent. Nice that menu was marked with gluten-free and dairy free options. Will definitely be back!!!
Fabulous find! While traveling we stopped in for lunch with friends. Having food allergies makes dining out tough. But this place made it so easy! Not only that I had the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever eaten! It was amazing. And the staff was so friendly. Definitely a new fav! Thank you!
Gluten free options!!
Great find in Greenville! The juices were great. I especially loved the names like "Lord have mercy" and "Bless your heart." Michaela is a wonderful manager. She was helpful in explaining what products they have. If you are looking for healthy options, not just juices, but breakfast items and smoothies, this is your place!
The ambiance is wonderful. The service was the worst I have ever had. From the staff not coming over to take a drink order for several minutes, to the order coming out over 30-40 min later, to not knowing what was gluten free, to forgetting to bring half the order after the 40 min wait. I expect a lot better service and competence for a high end restaurant like this. The gentleman next to me waited forever for a crab soup and then had to go begging for silverware. A true reflection of poor management with such poorly trained, bartenders and kitchen staff.
All the food was excellent, fast (even for to go), and service was so nice and welcoming! You get good food portions, and is fresh and hot. Will definitely be one of our go to places in our rotation to eat! Inside was beautiful and clean as well. Lots of gluten free dishes as well which is a big plus for me! 😊
Absolutely fantastic food. I got the Greenville burger (with bacon) and my wife got a grilled chicken sandwich. She said it was the best gluten free bun she's ever had. My burger was also stellar. This is what an American grill should be.
Also, we made a mistake with our order and they were so accommodating to us. Excellent customer service even though they were busy.
This is a nice brewery in what is called The Commons. The food is very good primarily the pizza. Gluten free option as well. I found the salad a little overdressed but not a huge deal. Recommend. Ride your bike on the Swamp Rabbit trail here or drive to this location.
I have celiac disease and ordered a petite filet and a loaded baked potato and got sick. I’m disappointed that the kitchen is not more careful with cross contamination and doesn’t seem to take food allergies seriously. I tried to order safe items and asked the server to please verify they don’t put anything else on their grill that contains gluten and to make sure they know my meal should be gluten free. Although the steak was delicious, I ended up with a stomach ache (intestinal damage) for the next several days. I think they must have items on the grill that contain gluten, or it was something in the loaded baked potato. . I never have this problem at Hall’s in Charleston, but there’s some kind of cross contamination going on at the Greenville one because I usually end up sick no matter how careful I try to be. I realize they can’t guarantee anything but it’s such a shame with it being a high end restaurant. Although I won’t be able to dine here again, for those without food allergies it is great!
