Even though we have been customers for a long time, last night apart from the appetizers, I ate a horrible gluten-free pizza, the edge was very high, about 4 cm, the raw food was inedible and the pizza inside was also raw and tiny in size. I complained about everything, and the answer was we will tell the pizza chef to lower the edge. In addition, for each course they put a supplement of 2 euros for gluten-free, not only for the pizza which I can understand, but for each appetizer including the sorbet a celiac pays 2 euros more per course, shameful.
My friend and I ate here. Mine was gluten free, Incredible! I couldn’t tell and I also couldn’t finish it. I’ve never not been able to finish my pizza. So tasty! Would recommend
Always a great experience. I always find competence and efficiency, they are very kind and put you at ease. Then the pizzas are spectacular, I also eat gluten free and for me one of the best pizzas in Palermo. Good guys keep it up 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Was voted one of the top 50 pizza places in Italy in 2024.
10/10. Best gluten free pizza we have had in a while! So so good. The simpler pizza we had was tastier than the Innovazione pizza we had (Diavola was more flavoursome than the Spilinga). Atmosphere is beautiful- the outside area is gorgeous and the interior is classy and rustic. Attentive service, too. Can't go wrong. If you're a caeliac especially, please give this place a try! Pizzas are between €9- €16, with an additional €2.50 charge for gluten free dough.
We are in these parts is a destination not to be missed .... for celiac it is a paradise .... from salty to sweet, from bread to pizza .... the quantity and goodness of the food is indescribable ... in addition to the safety on contamination. The productions are all exclusively gluten-free.
One of the best gluten-free pizzas we've ever eaten. Highly recommended for people with celiac disease. There's no extra charge for the gluten-free pizza. They use a separate oven. The owner was also very nice. Highly recommended. We'd be happy to come back.
I'm sorry but we didn't like the pizza. We came for a person who is celiac, but basically, it seemed to us that all the pizzas were made for celiacs. The dough is biscuity. There are people who like pizza like that but we don't. The environment is small... normal prices.
Delicious food and excellent variety of food. Including desserts.
But the staff isn’t trained!! The waiter brought my gluten free pizza in the same hand with gluten pizza directly touching it!!
Plate with gluten pizza was on my plate with gluten free pizza

Very good pizza.. I'm in Palermo and when I want a real pizza I go to Misilmeri.. I've been going to this place for more than a year and I wouldn't change it for any other pizzeria in Palermo. Excellent product quality, top dough, super good mozzarella and equally good GLUTEN FREE pizza. TOOOOOP STAFF AND STAFF. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Small but nice place, welcoming atmosphere, we took 1 gluten-free appetizer, 1 gluten-free pizza with tomato, buffalo mozzarella, bacon and parmesan flakes, and 2 with gluten, 1 Zarina and 1 Margherita. As far as I'm concerned it was the best gluten-free pizza I've ever tasted before... absolutely satisfied

It was delicious, and we had a fantastic gluten-free pizza...I thought the small surcharge for gluten-free was a shame; we weren't aware of that. Since we have to follow a gluten-free diet, we're glad we had such a great selection here, but it would have been nice not to have to pay extra because we have a medical condition ;)
The staff was very friendly, and the service was super quick. We highly recommend this restaurant for people with celiac disease!
Excellent quality pizza with various types of dough, including gluten free. Availability of seats both indoors and in the dehor in front of the restaurant, capable of accommodating large groups (we were 22..!). To try again to taste another dough among all those available 👍
Very organized place, welcoming and professional staff, owner of a kindness of times gone by, in addition to explaining the menu, they also suggested proposals to satisfy the requests, my request as I am Celiac was very clear and with a very high organizational capacity, what can I say thank you and see you next time 💪💪
We remembered the really good gluten-free and traditional pizzas, but tonight's disappointment was truly unique. We waited more than 40 minutes to take away pizzas with rubbery dough and poor seasoning both in quantitative and qualitative terms. See photo
Gluten-free, no problem!
I had spaghetti with lobster from the daily special. It was super delicious and very plentiful. There was a whole lobster on the plate, with plenty of boned pieces in the creamy sauce. Luckily, I didn't have an appetizer, so it's a shame I missed the desserts. A sommelier comes to the table and annoys me with the wine selection. For this quality, the price is more than justified. Highly recommended; please make a reservation in advance.
Found on New Year's Day 2025, looking for gluten free. They are outside the AIC circuit but for me the best gluten free pizza ever eaten. Excellent fresh hand-made French fries and perfect sweet pizza. Everything excellent and abundant. A must try!
What a huge disappointment.
The two of us got two pizzas.
A gluten-free Romana and a margherita with mushrooms whose cooking is rather doubtful as they looked like they were defecated by a seagull.
In any case, we go beyond sight and eat them, terrible, very poor quality of both the dough and the ingredients (as simple as they were).
But that's not all, we also had considerable difficulty digesting the pizzas, which literally remained on our stomachs.
Final gem, two pizzas (one Roman and one Margherita with mushrooms) two cokes and a bottle of water €43.50, a robbery!!!
If they had been good I wouldn't have said anything, but two crazy things and excessive prices for the poor quality (saying quality is a compliment)!
Huge disappointment!!
Never never again
Among the best pizzerias in the city and with particular attention to celiac disease and lactose intolerance.
Super nice environment with rooms all furnished differently (the one with the monkeys is beautiful). The tented exterior is welcoming, and in summer you can breathe the air of the garden on Piazza Sant'Oliva.
The selection of wines and beers available is excellent.
I highly recommend trying Palino.
Rosso Pomodoro Pizzeria Review
My experience at Rosso Pomodoro was overall positive, but with some room for improvement, especially in terms of handling allergen requests.
We arrived at 7:40 PM and, after ordering, I asked for a gluten-free and lactose-free pizza, stressing the need to pay close attention to contamination, given the presence of other allergens. The pizza arrived at 8:30 PM, but unfortunately it contained pieces of artichokes, an ingredient that was neither indicated nor requested and that I could not eat.
The staff, it must be said, was extremely kind and professional: they apologized for the mistake and immediately took the pizza back to the kitchen, preparing another correct one. Once served, the pizza was truly excellent, demonstrating the quality of the ingredients and the care in preparation.
However, episodes like this highlight the importance of greater attention in managing food allergies, as similar errors can have serious consequences for those with intolerances or allergies.
I ate very well and appreciated the friendly service, but I recommend that the pizzeria improve its food safety processes to make the experience perfect for everyone.
EXCELLENT service, punctuality, courtesy and quality of food. Lots of choice regarding pizzas, which are extraordinarily delicious. Restaurant suitable for celiacs. A friend of ours is gluten intolerant and they offered her a risotto with prawns and... I don't remember... But it was very very good keeping the girl quite satisfied and full 😉
Overall average, raw gluten-free pizza and a little doughy, lupacchiotta pizza instead of bresaola there was carpaccio and low in parmesan flakes, good starters.
Quiet environment surrounded by nature a few km from Palermo and Monreale. Large, well-lit room, tables outside and a small play area under the olive trees (accessible via an external staircase). Excellent and quality food. We celebrated my parents' anniversary and had a great time. I recommend the sandwiches with porchetta, sfincia with mortadella and pistachio, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù (very special), very tender legs of guinea fowl stuffed with mushrooms and potatoes. Almond and cream parfait cake. You can order almost everything gluten-free, take the food to go and eat it sitting at the tables outside. In the evening they make pizza with light and delicious dough. Naturally also gluten-free. Craft beers. Good gluten-free beer.

I was in this square last night, my boyfriend and I chose it to celebrate our birthday and, in light of the compliments received for the goodness of the pizza, we can say we made the right choice. The pizza was delicious, light and digestible dough. Helpful and courteous service, helpful and kind owner, really reasonable prices. I also recommend this pizzeria to those looking for gluten-free dough, my sister said she had never eaten such a good gluten-free pizza.

Gran Cafè Opera Gluten Free
Corso Umberto e Margherita, 10, 90018 Termini Imerese PA, Italy
This place was recommended by a local, the food is delicious and authentic yet with a twist. It is mainly Neapolitan pizzas but also gluten free options for all!
MUST EAT in Palermo if you’re looking for Italian pizza!
Also the service is extremely professional, special thanks to Samuel for his sweet care!
Wide choice of pizzas from the simplest and most traditional to the most particular ones
They also offer you the possibility to choose between various doughs.
We ordered a trio of excellent montanarine and then some truly exquisite pizzas.
Top quality ingredients and light dough are the main characteristics of the pizzas we ate.
The service is professional, friendly and always available.
Let's get to the "SORE NOTES": too hot we had dinner sweating the whole time, it is not acceptable on such hot days not to have a good air conditioning system, this did not allow us to fully enjoy the goodness of what we ordered and in any case the place was not even full otherwise it would have been even worse.
The water at the table arrived hot, especially the sparkling one which is undrinkable.
Also a tip for gluten-free pizzas: it is not enough to have gluten-free dough and say to make gluten-free pizza if this is then cooked in the same oven as the other normal ones, even with all the necessary precautions.
I really wish I could have given a higher rating but I reserve the right to return in the Fall/Winter when it is cooler.
Cozy atmosphere, a bit mountain hut style. The staff are fantastic. It feels at home! Unfortunately, being celiac, I cannot taste the food, but they always try to accommodate me with cocktails, studying solutions suitable for my pathology. Thanks always! 🩷
PS. A real shame not to be able to taste their dishes, because they look amazing! The pizza is mouth watering and the meat is no different!
“Zero Glutine” is much more than a shop: it is a true paradise of taste for those who, like me, thought they had to give up forever the authentic flavor of sweets and savory foods of the past.
As soon as you cross the threshold, you are greeted by the sincere smile of the two sisters who, with competence and infinite kindness, guide each customer in choosing the best products. Their care can be perceived in every detail, from the advice to the always rich and tidy shop windows, up to the scent that envelops the place and immediately makes you feel at home.
The variety on offer is surprising: fragrant bread, delicious pizzas (even lactose-free!), crunchy panelle, dreamy arancini and a rotisserie that enchants the palate and makes you forget any food sacrifices. Everything has an authentic, genuine, satisfying flavour.
But the real enchantment comes with the desserts: from cakes to miniatures, every bite is a return to the emotions of the past. After more than fifteen years, I have rediscovered tastes that I thought I had lost - intense, balanced, moving. It is difficult to explain how rare it is, for those with particular dietary needs, to find a pastry shop so attentive, so generous in quality and so surprising in its goodness.
“Zero Gluten” is a place of the heart, a refuge for the palate and the soul, where every visit becomes an experience to remember.
Incredible pizza, made from rice flour and just 12% gluten in the base. Delicious toppings, the base was crunchy and crispy and yet deep and squidgy at the same time! Well worth a visit and such incredible value. Two pizzas, two Diet Cokes and two glasses of wine, just £22!
Nice place, beautiful location ...
Amazing food, abundant and special.
As a first time I was very happy with the special attention received for gluten free.
Absolutely to try both the restaurant and the pizzeria with and without gluten.
Ideal for small receptions, among other things with attention to detail
Positive experience at Mineo's pizza house, friendly waiters, comfortable sofa seats, I took the GLUTEN-FREE pizza, obviously it seemed completely frozen to me but it doesn't matter, the important thing is that I was able to be with the others who eat "normally" and above all I wasn't sick due to contamination
An hour and a quarter of waiting. Terrible food, especially the lobster sandwich, really terrible, dry, lacking in seasoning.
I don't recommend it
Gluten-free pizza inedible, frozen
Only positive note, normal pizza decent

Experience not to be repeated: terrible.!!
We ordered 5 pizzas, one of which was gluten-free with a surcharge of 5 euros.
Once the gluten-free "pizza" arrived, I found myself a dough, crunchy like a burnt bruschetta and flat like a piadina.
A disappointment! Above all because, among other things, they had assured me by telephone, six days before, that the dough was produced by them.
Instead, I find myself with a "gluten-free pizza", frozen, burnt and not at all resembling a pizza, followed by the justification, following clarifications, that their dough was finished, because the next day they would be going on holiday.
I find such treatment disrespectful, especially given the high cost for the same pizza, which can't even be defined as such.
It would have been much more professional to indicate the lack of the product they produced, and to clarify when ordering that the pizza base was frozen. I would definitely have chosen something else.
So, one star, only because I can't put zero.!
⚠️IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S COMMENT!!! ⚠️
We came to your place because it was recommended, despite the less than positive reviews we found online.
Over the phone, I repeat, I was assured of the dough you produced, I would never have come to a place with frozen and toasted pizza. Even supermarket pizza is better than yours.
Among other things, the fact that my pizza was frozen was discovered only following requests for clarification, and not due to a show of seriousness on your part.
The discount, faced with a frozen and burnt pizza, costing 17 euros, was more than due. But the discount does not justify the treatment and the lack of seriousness especially in the answers given, in fact it was specified that there was no gluten-free dough of your production because the next day you would be going on holiday.
Regardless of the closure, quality and professionalism must always be guaranteed.
