What a sweet bakery; the owner and workers were very kind and accommodating. Dedicated gluten free bakeries are tough to find, but this one is awesome!
the baked goods are so tasty! my most recent visit here was to get a gluten free cupcake for my friend for my birthday party. I was shocked to see how many gluten free options there were to chose from! she LOVED the gf carrot cake!!
Most authentic oven-fired neopolitan pizza in downtown BK; BEST GLUTEN FREE crust in the CITY! The evening ambiance and heated / covered backyard are as delectable as the food. This has become a special treat for date night--it feels like a slice of Italy đ¨
Good overall, good gluten free pasta. But I find it to be a bit over-rated. Desserts are not that good. Flavor is always off. Theyâve messed up my delivery orders multiple times with no attempt to make it right.
We came in on a whim when a nearby burger spot was unexpectedly closed. We loved the food!!! And I was extra thrilled to find they have vegan cheese and vegan dips- which gluten free options as well. Weâve added this spot to our must go to spots when visiting Brooklyn!
Had the best meal and my daughter was able to safely try foods sheâs never had before like fried pickles, popcorn chicken⌠the burgers were amazing and everything was safe. There are a few items on the menu in that are not gluten free but nearly everything could be gluten free and 100% of their fried chicken is gluten free! Highly recommend!
I love Simply Sweets! Their products are always so fresh and delicious! The customer service is excellent as well. As a vegan, I feel so lucky to have this amazing place in our neighborhood. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves healthy, gluten free, plant-based, vegan, and of course delicious sweets!
This is my favorite casual gluten free breakfast in Brooklyn. The staff is aware of allergies, the gf pancakes are so solid, and there are so many options. Everything is good and there is a real sense of nutritional intentionality behind the menu. I have celiacs and have never gotten sick here, even while ordering it online for
Delivery.
The knockout tea is truly medicinal. Everyone loves this places.
Literally the best vegan food i've had in ages (easily adaptable to vegan and gluten-free options).
The food is extremely tasty, there are many options and the staff is adorable.
I highly recommend!!
This place is truly a gem. I adore this place and love bringing people here to show off the neighborhood. The platter for two is massive and can really feed three people. Everything is vegetarian! Gluten free injera bread is available but it is first come first serve, as they only make a limited amount per day. That being said, Iâve never had an issue getting it so if you have celiac or are gluten free, this is definitely a great place to try! The food feels super healthy and doesnât leave you feeling gross, plus the coffee is outstanding. If you can go for the coffee experience, it is so worth it! Love Bunna!!!
I had my birthday brunch here this past weekend. Miro helped plan a prefixe menu for my group of 15 guests that accommodated for omnivore, gluten free, and vegetarian diets, as well as a shrimp allergy.
I was in touch with him several times in the month leading up to my event as my guests confirmed or cancelled their reservations and as new dietary needs came up even up until the several days before our reservation. I was so grateful for Miroâs clear and timely communication throughout, as well as for all the accommodations he was able to make for us.
The food was awesome on the day of the event â in particular we loved the five spice fried chicken and waffle dish, the spicy noodle stir fry, the imperial rolls, and the slow cooked lamb buns. We also got the papaya salad, and coconut french toast, which were also delicious. For my gluten free guests, they made gluten free vietnamese crepe. đ My group was extremely well fed, the backyard ambience was relaxed and leisurely, and service was great.
Price was $50 per person, not including drinks â for the quality of the food and the fantastic service, this was absolutely worth it.
I had a fabulous birthday here, and Iâm so happy with how it turned out! Thank you again to Miro and the service staff day of for making my birthday brunch so wonderful đ
Lovely big open space. Great selection of vegan & vegan gluten free options. I had a corn muffin thing recently that was delicious but monkey bread is still my #1.
One of our favourite places to eat in NYC (and we live here!) really creative, delicious and nutritious food, awesome service, lots of deals and a really light and fun vibe. Great cocktails, a good choice of wine and lots of gluten-free options too. Shout out to Ben H for making this particular visit so lovely - wonderful human!
I cannot recommend LaRina highly enough for large parties with dietary restrictions! 10/10 experience! In our party of 7, we had someone with celiac, a shellfish allergy, and a severe nut allergy. They were super accommodating and all the staff was very knowledgable about which allergens were in which dishes. They made gluten free pasta for the person with celiac and wiped down the meat cutting machine before cutting out prosciutto so that the person with the nut allergy could eat it. Atmosphere is lovely, staff is friendly and food is delicious! Thank you LaRina!
Outstanding food, whether you are vegan or no. Go in and just get any to-go foods to get started. Opens early, around 7:30 am, so you can pick up items for lunch. I have loved the to-go crunchy peanut salad, the sesame noodles, the lasagna, and the incredibly filling and healthy breakfast burrito. All fabulous. (Lasagna also comes in a large size and easily feeds 5-6. They even offer a gluten free version which I just served for a dinner party.) The owner is an inspiration. I cannot say enough positive about the quality.
The gluten free bagel was insanely good!!!! Best gluten free bagel in NYC hands down. I had to do a double take and make sure I was indeed eating a gluten free bagel - it tasted thag good! The ladies are very friendly and created a lovely atmosphere.
Clean eating but kind of boring for the price. Good for dietary restrictions like gluten free stuff. Just not very exciting and not very large portions so didn't like the price was entirely justified. The non alcoholic drinks are a rip off for sure. $12 for like 4 oz of juice essentially. That was a little steep. Service was very good however, atmosphere was nice. Went for brunch so the wait for the food was a bit long. Fresh juices were very good.

Great place definitely recommend reservations it gets crowded pretty quickly. If you have a gluten intolerance this is the place for you I have ordered the pizza twice and itâs absolutely delicious! unfortunately I donât have any photos to share.
My favorite local vegan cafe, I always get the blue breakfast smoothie! Itâs nice to have healthy organic options.. not to mention gluten free muffins!! The staff is always nice as well :)
Gabby was a wonderful server today for my first lunch at this restaurant. I had the gluten free Summer Rolls with the rice wrap without chicken. I didn't take photos but beautiful presentation of the meal. She was understanding towards my goals of eating healthier and made helpful suggestions. She was happy to assist with me getting more peanut sauce for my summer rolls. They were delicious and the veggies truly were fresh and tasted great. I took some home and ended up placing another order. It was a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I'm glad this place was close to where I had some fieldwork today and I would come here again.
The Jungle Cafe is one of those places that nourishes you on all levels. Tasty, clean, fresh, healthy food in a warm, natural and inviting environment. Great smoothies, juices, sandwiches, salads, main courses, vegan and gluten free deserts â even hot cacao! The buffet has a wide selection and features rotating cultural themes daily (Mexican, Indian, Polish, etc.). Do yourself and your community a favor by supporting this great local establishment!
PS â Itâs also a great place to get some reading or work done, or meet up with friends.
I was so excited to try Colonia Verde but sadly left very disappointed. While most of the menu is marked gluten free, for some reason they use a shared fryer.
The place is beautiful, but the food is just OK. I had the mushroom tacos and the picanha, and to be honest they were just fine. Our waiter seemed a little confused around what was safe for celiac or not, which again was just disappointing given how well the menu is marked!
I ordered the spinach and cheese pizza with the cauliflower crust. I didnât expect much as Iâve had cauliflower crust before, but it was INSANELY delicious. Aniello made the crust from scratch and informed me that the spinach is also homemade. You couldnât tell it was gluten free, it was pliable and packed with flavour. This is now in my top three pizza spots in NYC. Service was excellent too! Aniello told me this was Neapolitan pizza and the best there is. Iâd have to agree!
Hands down my favorite restaurant! This place is been a god-send for an ex-meat eater who looooooooved birria tacos. Their vegan version, served with a side of consome, is unbelievable. Fatty, meaty, cheesy, all the things I loved in my favorite indulgence meal, without any of the animal products. I have a hard time branching out and trying new things because the birria tacos are just too damn good to pass up. I also love to start with the nachos, substituting the chorizo for jackfruit so my celiac partner can share. And if you can manage to leave room, the churros with coconut cream are also incredibleeeeeeeeeeee.
The restaurant itself is lovely, nicely decorated and clean, though I love to grab a table out front when the weather allows. Servers are always friendly and pleasant, though, it can get quite busy and service can understandably be a bit slower during peak hours, so I prefer to go in the late afternoon between lunch and dinner when they arenât so busy.
Donât even think about it. Unless you are seeking revenge on someone, in which case you should recommend they order delivery from this place.
Found this place as â(Expletive) Glutenâ on DoorDash. I figured out that the business behind that name was moonbowls, and chose to order directly from them so theyâd hopefully get more money.
The first two times I ordered from them were kinda rough: Food tasted OK, portions were quite small, and orders were 30 minutes late.
I was foolish enough to order a third time.
When the order was 15 minutes late I checked their app and saw that the food hadnât been picked up. I texted their âconciergeâ service, which assured me that the food was just waiting to be picked up.
30 minutes later I texted again. Silence. Tried to call, but their phone number is just a complicated menu where all options lead you back to texting them.
At the 2-hour mark I texted then again, only to learn that the order still hadnât been picked up. They tried to shift blame, saying that they made the food on time but that their âdelivery partnerâ (read: Uber Eats) was at fault. Whatever.
I cut my losses and took the refund. Will never get that 2 hours back.
Youâve been warned.
Love Antidote! The food is so so good and super filling as well!
There are extremely limited gluten free options but solid vegetarian options.
I like the egg mushroom tofu a lot!
The employees here are truly the best and a great part of the neighborhood. I also really appreciate the gluten free bread options for bagels and sandwiches!!
Everything was truly delicious. Also I am gluten free and everything was clearly marked on the menu. Usually I canât have the spicy noodles but here it is GF and that just made my day!!!! The service was also wonderful and everyone was so friendly.
The whole chain has a gluten free menu (you have to ask for it) but then the server doesnât bother telling the kitchen staff to actually make sure the food is prepared/cooked GF withoutcontamination.
This is super frustrating cause Iâve been âglutenedâ at least twice at two of the locations, including this one. Most times Iâve been fine, but it shouldnât happen even once. The server shouldnât be arguing with the customer that itâs fine cause thereâs no gluten in the ingredients when the issue is the kitchen not preparing it GF (without contamination).
NYC restaurants gonna scam their celiac/GF customers like we canât tell later. Such a waste.
Coming here is so nice for an easy lunch or dinner when you don't feel like cooking or you're on the go. Im gluten free and their gluten free pasta is pretty good. For people who can eat gluten they even have free bread. I like seeing all the fresh pasta and I need them to have soup all the time, not just in the cold months.
I just landed in NYC after completing the Camino De Santiago. Walking around the city to decompress between flights and happened upon this little gem.
Vibes and service were phenomenal. The people at the counter very friendly, and honestly it was refreshing just to have a bit of Spanish interaction.
I only got a smoothie (delicious!) but the food looked great as well. I also noticed there are several gluten free options.
Great pizza, they have gluten-free crust too! We thought it was really tasty, nice people, welcoming attitude, definitely will stop again when weâre in the area. Gluten-free pizza is cooked in its own tray.
Meat eater here! I donât usually go looking for vegan food but the gluten free bun on this menu caught my eye. After talking with the cashier, a bright person with a friendly demeanor named Khyla, I was sold on the burger. Khyla gave me complete confidence that I not only wonât be âglutenedâ but would love the food. The vegan burger resembled beef in texture but had a new and distinct flavor that I really enjoyed. With gluten transparency highlighted on the menu this is a safe space to enjoy tasty fast food. 10 out of 10.
