I was so excited to try Burtons with their huge gluten free menu, but I was really disappointed. I ordered an appetizer of the bread and it was so tough and dry. Still, I was excited for my entree. I ordered a warm lobster roll with fries. The fries were AMAZING. I actually have a hard time finding good GF fries but theirs were fantastic—which is why I gave 2 stars. The lobster was okay but the bun was pretty gross. The whole thing was just dry and not flavorful at all. The service was not good either :( I got 1 refill after eating most of my meal without a drink (except the table water), and we sat there for 30 minutes waiting to pay. Hopefully today was just an off day for them but based on my experience today, I don’t recommend it.

Wonderful food with a variety of health-conscious options including gluten free and dairy free, including their desserts. We loved it so much we went back twice in the same day haha. Parking is the only challenge, but the food and very friendly service makes it worth it. Highly recommend!

Great food for those that need to eat gluten free with a large selection of choices. Ditto for those without gluten free needs. From the GF menu: gluten free bread with three option platter; she crab soup; and fish sandwich (haddock) with fries. From the regular menu: chicken picatta with angel hair pasta.

Snooze lives up to its fantastic name and only gets better from there. The atmosphere has a quirky diner vibe, complemented by exceptionally hospitable service. My wife ordered the Denver omelet with hash browns and gluten-free toast, and she devoured nearly all of it—which is a rare feat! I opted for the traditional eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and a side of bacon. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had in my life! The bacon was irresistibly crave-worthy, too. Thank you, Snooze, for an outstanding experience!

Burger 21 offers a diverse menu with options for various dietary needs, including vegan, gluten-free. The prices were reasonable, considering the food and service quality. Overall, the dining experience at Burger 21 was exceptional. The welcoming atmosphere, service, and expertly crafted dishes made for an unforgettable evening. Brought a group of friends from out of town (6 of us total). Service wasnt terrible but our server was very absent and had to be flagged down and she seemed not to care or want to be there. 2 people asked for no ice in their water and she said "I'll just do no ice for all 6" when that's not what we wanted. She brought the waters then took 4 peoples cocktail orders and then walked away. We watched our drinks sit at the bar for so long when she was nowhere to be found. Someone else had to bring the other 2 people their cocktails when she finally let them order, someone else also brought our second round of drinks to us instead of her. Please keep in mind it was not busy at all when we went- less than 8 tables of people in the whole place. Our other friends (group of 7) at another table arrived after us, got their food before we were even able to order ours. Our server incorrectly told us there was gluten in the items we wanted to order off of the gluten free menu. I was so excited to share this place with friends and we left very disappointed in the service we received. Our other group of friends received excellent service. Additionally, we had a question as we were leaving about the parking at the designated garage for this area and the hostess said shes new and didn't know but also wouldn't ask anyone standing around up front. There appears to be several people working here that just can't be bothered to do anything more than the absolute bare minimum, even on a slow day. In all of our previous visits service has been a bit lack luster but not this bad and the food has been good but not great enough to justify the poor service

Rae is wonderful! So helpful and so attentive. Their seasonal berry French toast is amazing. This is one of the few places in south end that offers gluten free options for breakfast. They modify as many things to meet your dietary restrictions as they can, which is greatly appreciated from a girl who needs gluten free food.

Enjoyed a brunch break with my family of 6. I tried the Louisiana Quiche with a side of potatoes. The quiche was good as far as seasoning and flavor but the pastry part of the quiche was overcooked and therefore hard to eat with a fork. The hot chocolate was great! It’s my go-to hot drink. I give it and our service 5/5. Although it’s a 45-minute drive from Kannapolis, I’ll happily make it again; especially since I’m the passenger while my husband drives ;) The menu has so many options, I love trying different things! I don’t mind paying for good quality, feel-good food that’s prepped fresh. I’m always satisfied. If I find something that I don’t prefer, I just order something different next time. So many choices, including gluten-free and vegetarian.

Decent fast casual restaurant with healthy food unless you are salt conscious. Good choice of vegetarian and gluten free food. One big complaint: about half the dishes (saucy ones) were way too salty Advice: the kids meal portion is a bit small. My below average sized toddler finished it all and wanted more pasta.

My own space

I was so excited to try this “Instagram-famous place” for lunch and drove all the way from SC to try their chef’s special pastries. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with everything I ordered, including the regular latte, quiche Lorraine, and gluten-free passion fruit mousse cake. I spent $30 on these three items and ended up throwing everything away. I noticed other guests doing the same or just leaving their pastries untouched. I do not recommend this place at all—avoid it by all means! The food is simply not tasty!

Our family loves coming here for a well made Bison steak or burger. The gluten free fries are also a huge draw for me. They are one of the few restaurants in our area with a dedicated fryer for their fries. Please confirm before you order just in case they make a change.

I’ve been to this place a few times and it’s consistently pleasant, well priced, and had a unique breakfast menu with plenty of classics. Our server was friendly and the restaurant was busy but surprisingly and relaxed. The gluten free options were really diverse and gave my wife a ton of options. Really enjoyed the iced coffees and the good location, will be back. Joey was our server, he was great too.

The service here was the absolute worst. We ordered chips and queso and it went to the wrong table and when we asked they said it was coming. We literally never got them in spite of asking another time. Then we got a taco with a flour tortilla in spite of telling them it was needed to be gluten free and specifying only corn tortillas. It was sent back and then 10 min later it came back with 2 flour tortillas. My poor daughter had no meal since they couldn’t get it right. I never got my tea drink as well. We’ve never had such slow and poor service. We asked for the manager and she never came over to see us. The waiter apologized and said the food items were taken off the bill to which we said that’s good since they either never came to the table or were inedible. Will never go here again!!!

Ordered DoorDash from this cafe. This was my first time trying this place. I called just to make sure certain menu items were gf. The guy who answered the phone was super helpful and gave me tons of info about the menu. We received the food and omg it was delish! I got the waffle and it came with berries, whip cream, and maple syrup, and I also got the breakfast sandwich with gf bread. All of it was soo good and I would def order again!

Our servers were great about checking for food allergies, and they even had a gluten-free menu for people who need to avoid gluten. They had a decent selection of items, but not a large menu. The food came out in good time. It was well prepared and had good flavor. The servers kept the drinks filled and were attentive to our party of about 20.

The short rib was “melt in your mouth” incredible and GLUTEN FREE too. As a celiac, I was able to eat like a queen and enjoy fabulous wine. First time here and gotta say everything was so good. The smoked salmon appetizer was absolutely amazing. My husband got the big island steak special and said it was the best he’s had. I got the ahi tuna salad and it was delicious. No desert for us cuz they didn’t have gluten free / dairy free options but that’s okay cuz we were already stuffed from all the delicious food we ate. Can’t wait to venture there again.
