I’d avoid the GF bun it’s very dry and crumbly but they the most celiac safe place I know! Dedicated fryers, very knowledgeable staff and amazing GF fried chicken! When you order online they even have a celiac option to check off.
This spot offers a fun vibe with a unique interior, dedicated fryers, and tasty options that make it a go-to for those with dietary restrictions.

As a newly diagnosed celiac my priorities for dining out have drastically altered. In the past this place wasn’t great in my eyes due to the service staff being not so attentive, however I recently had a great experience and better yet they are very gluten free friendly.
I am under the impression they have a specific gluten free fryer and they have many options for celiac.
The GF burger was a really impressive surprise and all the GF sides were also very good.
Thank you and please keep it up! I will return for sure.

Pretty good portion on the dosas if you get their Dosa of the day. I like the lamb on Tuesdays. Pretty fast at in-between times (non-dinner time) when they are quite empty. The dosa is probably gluten-friendly but you might want to ask if other ingredients inside it are gluten-friendly too.

Really nice place to relax with a few drinks. Didn't have any food as we had just come from a café but we did get a flight and oh my god. I need to go back to get more if that blueberry basil. Until I do it will stay in my dreams, Highly recommend checking it out. They had indoor outdoor seating.
Their menu had things marked as Gluten Free although since we didn't order im not sure if they have a designated fryer or not.
Thankyou for the wonderful service staff, you were all so nice 😊

I chose the Pour house based on reviews and a widely advertised gluten free menu. There is indeed a gluten free fryer however other allergies were not well managed. We discussed extensively with the team what was available and were offered chips and a green salad. As we were attending a show nearby we took the option believing it to be relatively safe. We were disappointed at the lack of effort to accommodate or make any suggestions of suitable items. I had a reaction shortly after dinner. I would not recommend this venue to anyone with a serious allergy

I’ve always loved coming here. Today was probably my 6th-8th visit, and I can say with confidence that Hello Nori is very consistent. The yellowtail hand roll with Shiso leaf added is my favourite. The by the glass sake options are great and they all pair well with the rolls. Lisa was my server today and she was excellent. She checked in lots and made sure that the chef was aware of my gluten intolerance. Gold star for Hello Nori, I will be back!

First time here was a great experience. Nice atmosphere and window views, wonderful service from Kurtis, menu has a great selection of food, the burgers are really good, as well as the prawn laksa curry and chipotle mango chicken, some nice gluten free options! I hope one day they can have a gluten conscious option for the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni because it’s the best pasta of all time. They also have happy hour on a Friday night! Can’t wait to come back!

My party of 6 was desperate for food after travelling from Tacoma. The hostess was amazing and was able to squeeze us in at 6pm on Boxing Day. Our server Vinse was an absolute legend in helping us out and ensuring my gluten-intolerant family were kept safe from any gluten. Thank you. Food was great! Poutine was fantastic, they took great care of the lobster mac and cheese, our risotto balls, the jambalaya, the salmon, and the burger. Highly recommend and it was both a harbour and a delight for my in-laws first time to Vancouver. Thank you, Rogue!

On a vacation/work trip recently we had a late dinner at Coast restaurant. We were lucky to be able to sit outside thanks to the beautiful evening and the added comfort of there heaters. I have celiac disease, so always have to be extra careful when eating out. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of options I had and our waitress was amazing! Shout out to Sam for guiding me through all my options to keep me safe. She was super careful to triple check with the chef to make sure I had a very good and safe experience. Her charm, knowledge of the food and pleasant personality, elevated our experience.

As someone with celiac disease who orders lunch from this restaurant regularly, I’ve always tried to be understanding about the costs of specialty items, but this last experience was a deal-breaker. I’m already paying $9.99 for a 4-5 piece salmon roll, which I think is overpriced to begin with, but now they’ve started charging 20 cents per packet of GF soy sauce. Fair enough, I guess, but this time they charged me $1 per packet of GF soy sauce. That’s just ridiculous.
It feels like they're trying to make up margin on people with allergies, and that’s seriously frustrating. It’s one thing to charge a little extra for gluten-free items, but gouging customers with dietary restrictions feels wrong. I won't be coming back after this.

I am following up from my previous review that I had left a few weeks ago. Despite having a negative experience, the staff at Browns Crafthouse went above and beyond to make sure that my friends and I had a good experience to make up for what had initially happened. The manager Matt reached out and was very kind and generous, and offered to make the experience better for us. They accommodated drinks and many appetizers for our large group, and were super sweet the entire time. I cannot remember our servers name, but she was a tall caucasian woman. She provided excellent service and took my friend's gluten allergy very seriously. It was some of the best customer experiences I had. Matt himself had come out and greeted us, apologized for the previous experience, and made sure we had a great time. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had a good experience, and it was really appreciated!

Great Smoked Salmon Benedict for brunch. The coffee wasn't the best but they were able to accommodate gluten-free options. Substitute bread for more potatoes but they can't guarantee cross contamination it seemed like so if you are severely celiac just consider that.
Enjoy delightful treats like a unique brownie with a cozy vibe, but be prepared for possible waits during busy holidays.

I've visited Caffe Cittadella multiple times, and it's become one of my favorite spots in the area. I've consistently enjoyed my experiences here.
On my latest visit, I tried the Spinach Feta Cheese Pastry, paired with a hot chocolate. I requested a caffeine-free and low-sugar drink, and the staff made it perfectly to my liking.

My favourite restaurant in Vancouver. Excellent beef tenderloin and frites (which are gluten free, yay!), the ambience is warm and cosy and the service is very attentive and knowledgeable.

We often pop in to chit chat burger bar since they have gluten free substitutions. I really like their chit chat burger with the fried egg and zucchini. Burgers are moist and my sister likes the GF bun they use. She claims it’s the best GF burger she’s had.
Service is very friendly and prompt to seat you but a bit inattentive, they tend to not refill water etc. That being said, it’s a great place to sit and socialize since they have flexible seating options, the atmosphere is nice, and they don’t rush you out (in my experience they’ve never even initiated getting the bill).
Garlic fries were okay, not worth $3 more than the regular fries IMO. Mixed info on the frier for GF, one server said it’s a separate fryer for the fries and another server informed us that they have no separate GF fryer, so I wouldn’t order fried items if gluten cross contamination is a concern.

I was excited to come for brunch here but was left disappointed in the options they had for celiacs. A side salad as the only sub for potatoes seems a bit dated. As well an extra 2.50 for a side salad and an extra 2.00 for gf english muffin is wild. If you’re willing to have a mediocre meal for a heavier price, then you found your place.
Brunch here is a delightful hit, boasting a diverse menu and a lively vibe that leaves everyone satisfied and eager to return!

Step back in time to 2007 with this restaurant! Stopped in here after a few other places up Main, haven't been there in a good 15 years. Well, I feel like I went back in time, and not in a good way. Don't order the gluten free, it was just Costco gluten free bread in place of flatbread etc, no flavour or love. Not quite sure how it's still kicking when so many others have gone under in the area. Drinks and service was good, but food left a little to be desired.
Expect attentive service that genuinely cares about your dining experience, making each visit feel special and tailored to your needs.

Our server and the entire wait staff were very attentive. My wife is gluten free, and each staff member who brought food to our table seemed well aware of that situation, placing the dishes appropriately and reiterating the accommodation. Seems simple, but it's not common, even in nicer restaurants. Very impressive! Our server was great at what she does. Thank you! We'll come back when in Vancouver (we're from Seattle). Oh, and the prime rib was delicious, as were the accompaniments.
A must-visit spot with a vibrant atmosphere, great service, and stellar dishes that keep you coming back for more.

The food was EXCELLENT, our server Dwayne, even better. Such a delightful experience. I have Gluten and dairy allergies and he made sure I was well taken care of. He surprised us with a beautiful desert platter for my family, and some tart and delishes sorbet for me at the end. We won't forget our experience at the Showcase Restaurant and Bar. Thanks Dwayne.💖

Great, buzzing little restaurant serving a mixed Asian menu. I'm vegetarian and my daughter is vegan gluten free and there's plenty on the menu to cater for us. Marinated aubergine is absolutely delicious. They serve a really nice pale ale, Superflux. The place gets packed over lunchtime and it's so popular people are happy to queue. Staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
As a person that is intolerant to gluten, this place is absolutely amazing for gluten free pub eats! Most, if not all, of their breaded food is gluten free. I absolutely love their mushroom calamari, and their wings. The only place I can get decent pub food without having to compromise what I'm actually craving! Highly, highly recommend to my gluten intolerant friends out there. They have a very good gluten free beer as well! The best thing of all is that they don't charge a premium for subbing a gluten free bun! I really, truly appreciate this, having paid many extra dollars for tiny dry buns and slices of bread at restaurants and cafes. The service is always super friendly, food comes at a good pace, and the prices are reasonable! The atmosphere both inside and on the patio is really nice as well. Clean, simple, and stylish without being pretentious or cold-feeling. Great pub, highly recommend.

Had a lovely dinner for my friend’s birthday. Booking with OpenTable was easy and we chose the Granville Island location as parking is relatively easy, compared to Dntn.
The food and flavours were good and the service was wonderful. The hostess double checked our seating request and offered us an alternate seat upstairs, by a window - it was amazing to enjoy the sunshine during our meal.
Our Waiter was also friendly, and knowledgeable, with good recommendations. My friend is gluten-free and our Waiter made sure our orders were compliant… The food rolled out at a good pace and our Waiter checked in on us the perfect level. We were very happy with our Waiter.
We shared the Shrimp Cocktail, Scallops + Bacon and the Crème Brûlée. We both had the French Onion Ribeye from the Keg 50 menu. My side was the Iceberg Wedge with Blue Cheese dressing - it’s my favourite!!! We both enjoyed our meal and experience.
We’ll be back and highly recommend.
Had a wonderful evening because of our server Zach! Made me feel very safe as a celiac and everything was delicious. Great food and drink at a reasonable price.
