Jennifer was my server. She was super sweet. She was also crushing it at serving the whole place. She reassured me that I everything I ordered was and could be made GF and even put in gluten allergy for me (I have celiac) so I felt very comfortable knowing that she knew what she was talking about. And the tacos were delicious. I will be back

Always friendly staff, cool patrons, excellent food and drinks (Grace made us some lovely Earl martinis last night), and the best vibe in town! Plus, they always have good music playing. Plenty of gluten free options and never any cross contamination. My favorite dishes are the fish tacos and beet salad :)

Why is the food here so good? I ask because it absolutely does not have to be. I feel like for a successful board game restaurant/bar space, there are three main points.
Good Game Selection
Full Bar with fun drink options
Excellent Food
Every board game place I have ever been to has excelled at 2 out of 3 of those and the 3rd things is always... pretty meh. So my question is why do they have 800+ games, A full bar, AND the food is exceptional? I understand it, but I respect it.
I rarely give 5 stars across the board, but for Pieces its worth it. I visited the new space last night and it was such a great experience. All of the reasons I didn't enjoy the last venue in Soulard (tight spaces, hard to maneuver especially with large parties, noise level) have all been fixed by the new place by the brewery. Its a beautiful space. If it has been a while since you've visited there are subtle changes that they have made.
1. Better organization of their massive game collection. Its all on one wall now so its easier to peruse (and so your butt isnt in someones face while they eat.)
2. The 'flags' at the table to mark service are all 3D printed. Board game genre signage is all lasercut. Its the little things, yall.
3. Three private game rooms, and a large reservable space for parties.
4. The restaurant was full and it was not too loud. I don't know enough about interior design to know why this is a thing.
5. Expanded menu and Drink Menu (Menu has gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options)
6. Planned outdoor space (it was not open when I was there because it was like 30 degrees out)
If its been a while since you've visited, I highly recommend checking out the new space.
Fun vibes and a creative menu featuring unique dishes like a giant nacho pizza make this spot a must-visit!

The waitress was knowledgeable about gluten free options and the menu is properly labeled. They also can make some tacos gluten free if you ask. My daughter got the big ass nacho which was really fun bc it literally is one big nacho pizza. I love the governors tacos and the portobello taco. Everything I've ever eaten here, even with gluten, is delightful.
With a dog-friendly patio and a variety of delicious options, it's a chill spot that's sure to please any palate!

Brisket is fire. Service is great, but I was annoyed by the staff member who kept referring to me as "friend" (I don't even know her). The atmosphere is fine, not special but clean. Baked beans and fries are also very good. I have a gluten allergy and don't get sick eating here!!

I had heard nothing but great things. I decided to come as they had gluten free options and it’s rare to find a place with a GF hot dog bun.
The gentleman who took our order was very nice and the food came out efficiently. The taste of the food (2 dogs and a brat, two fries) were great, my nieces enjoyed theirs a lot. Mine tasted great, although the GF option isn’t really a hot dog bun…it was more like a sub sandwich bun. Within an hour of leaving this place I was SO SICK. Nausea and severe stomach pains - which is what happens if I am accidentally exposed to a fair amount of gluten. While I understand this is not a dedicated gluten free restaurant, I have eaten at many other places that are not either. I suspect Steve’s Hot Dog cross contamination practices are very lax & this is disappointing. If you’re going to offer GF items, you need to be knowledgeable and attempt to at least not make people sick!
Before we left, we waited to use the rest room (one was out of order). An employee came out and he had the worst smelling B.O. I have ever experienced. We were gagging in the bathroom. It sort of grosses you out when you know someone is working in the kitchen and they have a body odor issue like that.

My boyfriend and I had an awesome time, the food was great and there were a lot of gluten free options to choose from! Tatyana was our server and she did a fantastic job! Very personable and funny! We definitely recommend and will be back for sure!!
a breath of fresh air on my trip to St. Louis, great vibe, relaxed, cool esthetic, bomb burger and fries, nice to find a gluten-free, vegan dessert (Oreo cheesecake)

One of my favorite Bars/Restaurants ever. The decor, atmosphere, service, drinks, and food are all top notch! I have celiacs and there are more gluten free options than not which is hard to come by. Super safe, I go here all the time and have never gotten sick. Highly recommend!

We went for Sunday brunch and had only breakfast foods. It was overpriced for what we had but if you planned to have the lunch options too, it would be a decent value. Our server was great! We probably won't go back for brunch but we do go here for dinner occasionally. They have gluten-free options on their regular menu that are really good!

This is my favorite place to dine! Amazing, authentic recipes! **GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR CELIACS PEOPLE LIKE ME** In the heart of the CWE downtown area, Saigon Cafe boasts upbeat, live music featuring some of St. Louis finest DJs. Food was great but our friend who was with us had a gluten allergy. We called a few days prior to our reservation and were assured they would fry the food separately. When we arrived we again confirmed with our waiter who told us no, there was a possibility of cross contamination and they could not guarantee gluten free.
Great vibes and tasty dishes await, although customization might be limited—definitely a spot worth revisiting!

We really enjoyed our meal here! The gluten free options weren’t super numerous, but I had a couple of options to choose from. It did NOT seem like they will sub sides (or at least they didn’t offer), so I don’t think they will modify dishes to be GF. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back!
A hidden gem perfect for special occasions, with massive portions and a menu that keeps everyone happy.

I will preface with Food was very good. The service was fair. They were all nice but the boy bussing the table would take away food far too quickly when we were still eating it. He wouldn’t ask and he did it several times. He was very nice, but determined to clean that table! Paying was another struggle. They do not split a check more than 2 ways. They offered to split 3 ways, but it was overly complicated. Good food, fair service, but they were nice.
We had one person with a severe dairy allergy and one with gluten intolerance (not preference). They tried to accommodate but were not well informed of allergies.

We recently had our wedding reception dinner here. Tim and his staff were attentive, considerate, and accommodating to our gluten-free guests. Our group sat in the arcade, which received a lot of compliments from our guests. When we arrived, pre-ordered food was ready. Tim communicated the entire way. The food was excellent! We will definitely be coming back soon for dinner.

We were pleasantly surprised with our Gluten-Free Philly Brisket and GF Cubano. We knew the Midwest could smoke their meat, and the Brewhouse did not disappoint.
We loved both sandwiches, the pricing, the Slaw, which was refreshing on a hot day, and the generous portion size. Service is excellent and attentive.
With exceptional steak options and an impressive whiskey selection, this spot guarantees a memorable dining experience.

Amazing steak. Ribeye and filet were both some of the best we've had. They did not have a gluten free menu, but staff was very knowledgeable about gluten with the dishes. Incredible list of whiskey choices made it a great night
Told the server in was gluten free and he was very accommodating and so very nice.

Very picturesque Cajun food restaurant that apparently is a classic in the area. We loved the food, very tasty and with the spicy touch that cannot be missing in this type of cuisine. In addition, several dishes on the menu can be adapted to be gluten-free. Very good atmosphere and very good treatment from the waitresses who served us.

We have eaten here a few times, we live close by. The food and atmosphere are great! It's a little higher prices but always good. They don't offer gluten free pasta so I had the risotto, it was yummy!! They also have gluten free pizza that I have had and was happy with. The risotto was butternut squash, spinach and mushroom, very good! My fiancé had penne with shrimp and chicken, he said it was good too. I always enjoy my dinners here!
Rosalita's Cantina was very good. I dined here for lunch, and they gave my table chips. AMAZING chips. The menu had very clear gluten free and vegan options. The reason I would not give four stars is because my fried tostada got soggy from the refried beans, but otherwise it was very good.
Get ready for famous hot dogs and incredible chili cheese fries, all served up with fast and friendly vibes!

Hot dogs and Toppings were great... Main issue are the buns.. Just dry and not pleasant to eat.
In reply to the reply,
Sorry I realized my initial review may have been too harsh. Yes the bun was not the best but really did enjoy the rest of the dog and especially the fries! Not sure but could be the gluten free bun??
Looking forward to going again, huge fan of the urge so want to support you all I can!!

1st time virgin coming to the Brew House. I was enamored. Enthralled. Perhaps even in awe. I was a gluten, embelishing in a tower of the necter of the gods, all the starters ... (the nachos with pulled pork gave me an epiphany, made me question all the things I have been missing out in life ... 128 Oz of Busch latte (aka necter of the gods, and a few shots of rumplemints cuz I was grumpy), place is very nice ... but I digress ...
David, our server! Bro, you are an absolute Rockstar! You made our entire party have an absolute amazing time and we are all very grateful for the service, kindness, attention, and absolute on point PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

CHA CHA IS THE BEST!! We had the best time here. We are at a convention this weekend and decided to come here for lunch. We got a GIANT mimosa and then free tequila shots. Pluss,, the tacos were incredible. My southwest Salad was so delicious and it was gluten free!
We had our first annual holiday party here last night for 12 people including 5 with gluten and dairy sensitivity and one who eats only vegetables and meats prepared in olive oil. Even with those constraints, the chef prepared an amazing 5 course prix fixe menu for 11 with appropriate adjustments to the one guest with the most dietary restrictions. The service, atmosphere in the private "wine room" and food was outstanding. The chefs creativity and mastery of techniques, flavor combinations and textures was impressive. Aaron Martinez in an elite chef who reminds me of Gerard Craft. I highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be returning.

Very CROWDED!! Luckily I had made reservations! Pizza was delicious, however crust was a little overcooked and hard in certain areas. (It was a gluten free pizza, and that seems to happen everywhere. ) Ron was singing and was terrific! A great place to go with friends!
