great ambience and service. lots of gluten free options. loved everything i ordered (meat platter) but wish i got lamb instead of the beef kofte. i felt like the flavor was good but didn’t exactly jump out at me– especially in the stews. but the standout for me was the rice pudding!!! one of my favorite desserts of all time.

Lovely and cozy eatery serving a variety of classic American and fusion fare, with a wide selection of great vegan and/or gluten-free options. I visited this location for brunch and got their sweet potato skillet, which included a generous helping of brown rice mixed with sauteed kale and sweet potato, then topped with a beautiful poached egg. The meal was simple, yet so incredibly tasty.
While their food is delightful, what has made Busboys & Poets a long-time DC favorite and cultural hub is its ambiance. It's one of the main "cool" places in the city, with its relaxed vibes, open mic poetry nights, and adorable little shop featuring small artists from across the District. The K Street location also features a lovely little bar serving both caffeinated and alcoholic beverages, which is a delightful spot to sit if you just want to enjoy a drink or casual meal. The entire staff is super friendly, so sitting at the bar is a surefire way to have a delightful conversation with the bartender, as well as to people watch or just soak in the vibes.
With amazing pastries, a cozy vibe, and plenty of seating, it's the go-to spot for coffee, work, or catching up with friends.

Place was crowded and line organization was lacking. The gluten free options were limited but was able to find a few items that were tasty. Good for a quick grab and go meal if you are on the run…

Gluten free person here! Had the gf chipper but overall felt disappointed- I think Georgetown cupcakes does a better gf cupcake. It was a bit dry and overly sweet.

A breakfast restaurant with 3 flavors of waffles that are both vegan AND gluten free! Yes, you read that right. Not only that, they are DELICIOUS, along with the vegan and gluten free muffins, overnight oats, and other options! I wish I lived in DC to have a place like Fruitive around.
Tucked away in a quiet Georgetown street, this charming brunch spot offers a cozy atmosphere and beautiful decor, perfect for a relaxed meal.

If you are on a gluten free diet, this restaurant is a real treat. This is the ONLY restaurant I know of in the entire DC area that offers gluten free French toast!!! It is really yummy. It is gluten free cinnamon raison bread that they make into French toast. It is served with maple syrup that has few slices of bananas in it. It is always served warm. (Be sure to look for the bananas. If the French toast is served with sliced strawberries, that is the wheat based French toast.)
This restaurant also has gluten free bread so most of their sandwiches can be made gluten free upon request. And they can make their eggs benedict gluten free by using their gluten free toast.
It is a very pleasant experience dining here. I usually dine outside. They are located on a small street in Georgetown. Georgetown can be crowded but on this small street, it is never very busy. On a nice weather day, it is a pleasant experience to eat the gluten free French toast while enjoying the weather.
The service is always good too. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant.

The must visit bagel/coffee place in Georgetown!
From Food, service, atmosphere, this place deserves 5 stars.
They have many breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches even gluten free options.
I tried the mountain view on a maple salt & pepper bagel it was delicious!
The bagel was so chewy, eggs were fluffy and lakes were crispy and salty & sweet bagel just made your morning happy!
(Original serve in plain bagel so ask for maple salt& pepper bagel)
If you are chocolate lover, try the chocolate babka muffin. Freshly baked and it has layers unlike regular muffin with chocolate swirls.
I also tried the signature maple french Toast latte and it is not too sweet and not too hot just perfect combination of coffee with touch of maple taste. you should definitely try!
Special shout out to Michael who is the best!!! He was so kind, friendly and helpful. He definitely made my morning even brighter:)
Such a cute pink house you can’t miss it!
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with stunning window displays and an impressive selection of delicious macarons in this Georgetown gem.

Vibes are great, food is pretty good, good vegetarian and gluten free options. But service is very slow and makes a fair number of minor mistakes. It’s like being in a Paris cafe, both good and bad.

First time at this location but not first time at the franchise.
Atmosphere and general service:
We had to wait a minute or two for the hostess to come talk to us and seat us (it was a Sunday afternoon and we were the only ones standing at the door so it wasn’t busy). After seating, we waited about 10-15 minutes to get water or any type of service. We flagged down two servers and the manager in the process. The menu for that specific time (brunch) had multiple items marked as unavailable for weekend brunch, which made no sense…why put it on if it’s not available? Or at least, write it in something else other than 8.5 font. The restaurant was at less than 50% capacity but food took almost 30 mins. We came in at 2:20, they took our order at around 2:35, food came out at 3:01 (two basic entrees and an app).
Food runner was fake-nice and passive-aggressive…uncalled for.
Server (after assignment) was really nice. He did his best, all things considered.
Manager tried to help as well, which was nice.
Food:
App: we got crispy Brussels sports. Perfect amount of sweet and savory, pretty on point. Would absolutely get it again.
Entree #1: vegan chicken sandwich. Was meh. The soy protein had good texture and consistency but it was lacking flavor. Even dipping it in ketchup and dowsing it in hot sauce couldn’t rescue it.
Entree #2: Lamb burger with gluten free bread. Meat was pretty good, well seasoned. But bread was cold. Not warm, just cold.
Fries with entrees: cooked perfectly but again, they lack flavor (but ketchup and bbq sauce rescued them…thank god).
I will not come back to this location and I’ll think twice before going back to another location. But I just might door dash them Brussels sprouts.

Tatte Bakery & Café has earned its reputation as a beloved breakfast spot in Washington, D.C., but potential visitors should brace themselves for frequent crowds. Patience is essential if you decide to dine here. The food is quite impressive, with standout options like their hearty scrambles and warm oatmeal. Even the gluten-free offerings are commendable, although the gluten-free bread could benefit from a bit more filling to enhance the overall flavor and satisfaction.
On my recent visit, the service left something to be desired; our delicious food arrived much sooner than our drinks, which seemed to take an unusually long time. Despite the wait, the drinks proved to be a highlight, perfectly crafted and refreshing.
The café's atmosphere is bustling, filled with the lively chatter of patrons, which can be somewhat hindered during busy periods. On my visit, the incessant sound of a fire alarm added to the noise, creating a challenging dining experience. Finding a table can also be a struggle due to the popularity of this location, leading me to recommend opting for takeout instead of trying to secure a seat.
Overall, Tatte Bakery & Café offers a delightful breakfast experience, albeit at a slightly higher price point than some other local options. It’s a spot worth visiting if you don’t mind the hustle and bustle and are craving a satisfying meal to start your day.

I wish there were more stars to give to this location and their baked goods. Everything here is amazing from the staff to the food, but the absolute best is their gluten-free bread. I have not found a better product anywhere else and I have been to over 35 countries.

This place is really nice for brunch, co-working or only for a coffee. We’ve been this morning and the food was good, I had a sandwich (gluten free) avocado salmon and eggs, but the must drink is this pistachio latte! They produce their own pistachio syrup and this drink was amazing!
Negative point is that if you order others drinks like cappuccino you’ll drink in the paper cup and the taste will be different, but that’s their policy

Had a really great time here! We loved that everything was vegan(by default vegetarian) and tasty! I got the tofu and wild mushroom bowl as a delicious gluten free entree. The group I was with also split the potato skins(also gluten free) that were amazing! My partner is not gluten free, but got the gluten free pasta with the bolognese with meatballs and a side salad. The meatballs are not gluten free but the consensus at the table was that they were yummy!
Enjoyed the outside balcony ambiance and of course had to hit the dessert menu after our meal. Had the macarons since they were all gluten free and the berry cheesecake that was phenomenal. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing smoothies and bowls and open faced toasts. I’m vegan and gluten free and this is one of the only places I can eat with multiple choices!!
Love the super fruit smoothie and avocado smash toast on GF bread and Mediterranean toast with no cheese on GF bread.
The staff is very friendly, they know my name, they have my smoothie ready for me when I walk in the door without me having to tell them what I need. Super great neighborhood vibe as well!

Great for gluten free vegans!!!! menu is well-marked and there are multiple items for folks living (eating) at the intersection of GF& vegan. however, DO NOT order the “smoothie bowl” i immediately wanted to send it back (but i would never cuz that’s crazy, ab as crazy as this review). the smoothie bowl is liquidy-soupy like a drinking a drink with a spoon and it comes in a mug. coupe, yall need to rethink that one or remove it. i rlly regretted ordering it and i usually LOVE smoothie bowls.

Such wonderful people. I’m a newly-diagnosed celiac and it’s been hard. I ordered from Ted’s Bulletin on UberEats and the restaurant actually called me to let me know that one of the items wasn’t gluten-free. Then they went above and beyond to find me a safe substitute. The food was really good too!

The GreenBee Café is my favorite cafe in Washington to enjoy local seasonal cooking. Their dishes are a burst of flavor with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. I love their classic cobb salad and blackened catfish sandwich– fresh, and satisfying. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it a perfect spot for a lunch date or solo meal. They cater well to my dietary needs, which is a big plus for me. You can enjoy their all-day breakfast, sandwiches, wraps, and pasta. We were excited to try after reading some reviews about gluten free bread, but when we realized they didn’t have that option we flagged down the waiter to tell them we were leaving. The server was so curt and unnecessarily rude, not even letting me finish my sentence while I was apologetically explaining. Tables were so close together it was almost impossible to get in and out.

I love the aesthetic of this coffee shop! The ambiance is amazing and it's great for coffee or tea lovers. I also really appreciated the Gluten Free raspberry bar option. It was pricier so definitely a splurge, but I haven't had sweets all week so was excited to finally find something GF. A table next to mine ordered food and it looked amazing! This is a puertorican restaurant, but there's no indication on any of the decor/ambiance that this is Caribbean, Latin flair food. The restaurant looks like it's decorated from Ikea. The service is not whatsoever what a Latin community is about it doesn't reflect Puerto Rico. We are friendly, charming, charismatic, happy, and hospitality people. We strive to make everyone welcome (for the vast majority)
This is not the vibe you get when you arrive here. Once you walk in, you find a seat, scan the QR code on the table, and then you order your food straight from the app. You have to stand up and grab your own plate, napkins, and silverware. The waitress brings your food to the table. The waitress doesn't do anything else just to bring your food. Doesn't come back asking if you need anything else.
The owner is oriental and 5 times he walked around to the other guest asking how everything was, but not once he approached my table to ask me how my food was.
I ordered cheese balls, tripleta, a colao, and a Guanabana smoothy. All these were $59.00. The food was really good. The tripleta was moist, warm, and flavourful. I will just add a bit more of the mayo ketchup or some aoili sauce.
The parking is right behind the building.
For 2 hours, I paid $9.00
There is no vegetarian, gluten-free option.
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with attentive service, where every dish impresses and the unique decor adds to the enjoyment.

Stay away, not worth the price gouging for Ramsey’s name! Pizza was cold, burger looked almost raw, asked for medium, 2 soups get delivered and poured into bowls and one server didn’t even finish pouring could see it still coming out he pulled it back and walked away, other bowl had a third more soup! Glass of wine small for the price. It also took almost 20 minutes and having to ask the waitress for it and she replies with “it will be here shortly” Excuse me how about just admitting you forgot it! The wine will be here when she tells the bartender and they pour it, since she didn’t write anything down, it wasn’t “here”. Caesar salad cannot be modified to be gluten free without the croutons! Never heard of that, but according to the server they put gluten on the Parmesan “chips”. No need for that at all, clearly they do not care about easy choices for customers with food allergies. Many restaurants have gfree croutons. Ramsay made not only can’t manage to do that, he has to add gluten to Parmesan!
Then they try to force another $9 bottle of water onto the table when glasses are full from first one! The food runners tried to deliver all the meals to the wrong person and were bumping into each other correcting themselves. If you don’t know who ordered what just ask! Waitress was rude and indifferent but still made 20% because they automatically add it to the bill. She was worth $5.00 tops!! Big disincentive to do your job well if you are going to make 20% no matter what. Totally overrated and must stem from Ramsey’s arrogance about how good he is because of his TV fame and plain old poor management! He should visit the place himself and see if he can fix it!
A cozy spot with a cultural twist, serving creative dishes and high-quality coffee, perfect for a delightful break from the city hustle.

Came to D.C just for a day trip and this was my first stop before heading to the NMWA and was very pleased overall with the quality of the food and beverage and friendliness of the staff 💛. I ordered a small iced sunshine latte (turmeric and ginger) with whole milk and one of their breakfast arepas (I'm gluten-free so this was a delicious option since the arepa is naturally gluten-free) and my order came to $19.00 including tax & tip. The sunshine latte is very balanced and subtly sweet and the breakfast arepa warmed me right up since it's so freezing out right now (I *loved* the guasacaca that came with it). The only downside is that Nativo is located right by the front doors so you definitely will feel the weather outside but of course this didn't affect the quality of my experience, just something to note. The staff/owners were very sweet and helpful and if I lived here in D.C I would definitely be coming here every week 💛💛💛.
