I’d avoid the GF bun it’s very dry and crumbly but they the most celiac safe place I know! Dedicated fryers, very knowledgeable staff and amazing GF fried chicken! When you order online they even have a celiac option to check off.

Had a lovely pizza and Choc brownie, highly recommend it, but what made the place so memorable was the server Sienna who was awesome and the young chef who took the time to ensure we enjoyed our meal. The only downside was that the gluten free pizza crust my buddy had was not so good but edible.
A hidden gem with a fantastic array of healthy options awaits you, perfect for late-night cravings and diverse dietary needs.

Not all who wander are lost.
My travel partner and I each had a gluten-free free lamborghini with salad. Fresh ingredients, meat had nice seasonings, and a good flat bread (gf "bun"). They earn a double tasty and a recommendation to all GF eaters out there. Already planning a return visit when back in Vancouver in a few weeks.
A place with a distinctive gangster-themed pie that's a clear crowd-pleaser, boasting tasty crust.

You know a pizza is good when you can eat the crust without having to dip it in sauce. Excellent stuff! Will definitely come back. Customer service was fantastic. Kitchen looks super clean. I am not celiac but I saw a customer come in to pickup a GF pie and the gentleman washed his hands before touching the box again to give to the customer. Great stuff!

This was the second time I've had their pizza! The cashew cheese is sooo good! All crusts are wheat free, and they have separate oven and fryer for celiac. The cashew blue cheese dip was the perfect pairing. One thing I wanted to add is the last time I had the BEST vegan ice cream flavor I've ever had. Lavender and butterfly pea! Please do that again!

Great pizza. My partner has a gluten allergy, so he always orders the gf crust and it’s almost as good as the regular pizza crust - by far the best gf crust I’ve tasted.

In heaven. Most items are or can be made safe for celiac. Had the Yum Bowl…sooooo good. The best part though? GLUTEN FREE ONION RINGS. They were just incredible. If you’re able, come down and chow down. It’s definitely worth it.

Very cute little spot for high tea in Kits! They have incredible options for celiac and/or dairy free folks. Great tea list as well! The scones (both gluten free and not!) were super delicious, as well as the vegan and non vegan cream options. I would definitely go back!

As someone with multiple dietary restrictions, I really appreciate how clear and easy to navigate Virtue Bakery is. No guessing games, everything is labeled, and the staff behind the counter genuinely understand the ingredients. It is refreshingly straightforward without ever compromising on flavour. Their offerings include all gluten-free, and a variety of dairy-free, egg-free, and low-sugar baked goods, catering to a wide range of folks. They do have nuts on-site, goodies share a display case, however whatever is labelled as nuts has nuts in it and other stuff doesn't.
A rare gem for those of us with dietary restrictions! I love the df lavender brownie and df banana bread.

We were here from Ontario, and read that they served gluten free burgers and fries (my wife and son both have Celiac Disease). They were delicious!! Best burger and fries they've had, and my other two sons and I both loved our non gluten free burgers too. We all liked everything so much we came back a second time during our visit! Excellent and friendly service. Highly recommend!

Came here for our anniversary dinner, as a celiac I usually avoid eating out Italian as the pasta substitute js subpar, that was not the case here. The best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had and most appies and all deserts were gluten free. My gluten eating husband also said it was the best pasta he’s ever had. Was nice to have a desert option that was not a flourless chocolate cake, highly recommend the olive oil cake! The service was really good and they were very knowledgeable about celiac. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful food and service. They accommodated our son's peanut and tree nut allergies with ease and were so kind about it, which doesn't always happen. Such a cute vibe and location. Would come again and recommend especially to allergy families (also very gluten friendly)!

Great spot, and better than most other dairy-free/gluten-free baking in Vancouver. Their vegan cakes + cupcakes are especially good - about as close as you can get to a dairy cake in terms of texture and flavour

This place is a hidden gem. A women owned business which serves delicious vegan options. Restaurant does not have huge seating space but can accommodate a group of 6-8.
We tried Bombay Bad Boy pizza and were surprised with flavor. I will highly recommend trying "Almond Cassava" crust; it is gluten free but not too hard or crispy.
Definitely worth visiting if you are vegan/vegetarian food lover or, interested in trying vegan food.

We have been going to Asian’s with our family for years and it is the closest we have found to a UK curry in Vancouver - which is a huge compliment as the best curry restaurants in the world are in the UK!
Chef Rick has been in this business for over 45 years and he makes everyone feel welcome. All dishes are freshly prepared. He is there early every day prepping all the ingredients. For diabetics it is particularly good - he does not use sugar but instead does magic with onions to introduce a sweetness. This makes the butter chicken the best ever. I can eat here without the food spiking my blood sugars at all - as long as I don’t stuff in too much Nan!
The Tandoori mix grill is the best I have had. Mushroom matter is a favorite as is Lamb Sag. Did I mention the butter chicken!
He often gives our grandkids a box of home made sweets to go. Gluten free options available and ample free parking on the street outside.
I have noticed that Prices have not gone up since before COVID - go along as you won’t be disappointed.

Service and atmosphere are great but food is beyond mid and overpriced considering the lack of real flavour, definitely not the most enjoyable sushi, iki is miles better for gluten free folks. But this place was alright.

Fantastic experience here on all fronts: service, food, and atmosphere. The people who run the place were exceedingly friendly and went above and beyond taking care of customers. The design is modern but with little details in the decor give the place an authentic homely feeling. The backstory behind this cafe is so interesting - apparently the space has been in the family for three generations (you can read about them on their website).
The menu features modern HK comfort food and is all gluten-free! I was there around 2 pm on Saturday and many of the baked goods were sold out, but luckily they still had what I wanted. I tried their corn pot pie, a ginger milk burnt sugar cookie, and an iced HK milk tea. The corn pot pie was creamy but not heavy, topped with a pastry that was the perfect sweet spot between crisp and soft. Very comforting. The cookie was phenomenal!! At first bite, the taste of fresh ginger was VERY strong and the burnt sugar added depth to the flavour without making it too sweet at all. The texture was also amazing, soft and chewy, and I loved the thick edges. As expected, the HK milk tea was also excellent, strong and smooth. The tall and full glass was much appreciated because I didn't want it to end. Dipping the cookie in the milk tea was heavenly.
I can't overstate how much I enjoyed my visit here. You can really tell how much love has gone into this cafe.
A top spot for breakfast lovers, featuring delicious dishes, great service, and a cozy atmosphere, but be ready for some noisy chatter!

We visited your tea house to celebrate my wife's birthday. Overall, we appreciated several aspects of the experience:
The greeting upon arrival was warm and welcoming.
The timing for seating was perfect.
The selection of teas was excellent.
The atmosphere was delightful and contributed positively to the occasion.
The savouries were enjoyable, and the gluten-free options were thoughtfully prepared.
However, there were a few areas that could be improved:
Unfortunately, the sweets did not taste fresh, which was disappointing, especially given the otherwise high quality of the experience.
During my visit to the washroom, I observed three-four floor staff engaged in casual conversation and gathered around a cellphone, which gave the impression of inattentiveness. This was noticeable and detracted somewhat from the overall service standard. That said, one of the team members provided particularly professional and attentive service, which we truly appreciated.
In summary, while the experience was pleasant in many ways, we felt that the value did not fully match the $56 per person price point. For that reason, we are unlikely to return, but we do hope our feedback is helpful and constructive.
Thank you for the experience.

Pretty good portion on the dosas if you get their Dosa of the day. I like the lamb on Tuesdays. Pretty fast at in-between times (non-dinner time) when they are quite empty. The dosa is probably gluten-friendly but you might want to ask if other ingredients inside it are gluten-friendly too.

No justice for Harambe Ethiopian Restaurant!
This place is a gem. It's quite a distance from our house and there are other, closer Ethiopian restaurants but we always find ourselves back there.
The food and combo plates are always incredibly filling. Staff is attentive but not too much so. Like your glass is always half full sorta service and the jazz music is just right.
Ten stars!

Famous foods is hands down the best little grocery store in Vancouver. And I say little bit it has everything you needs, has a bigger range of specialty goods (organic, gluten free, minimal packaging) then a lot of the bigger and more expensive stores. It’s quick to get in and do a shop and leave without feeling overwhelmed. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Family favourite through and through.
