Best gluten free pizza I have ever had. If they don’t tell you that is GF you’ll not believe it. Better pizza than in Italy 35$ anyway. Has to be good.

Finding somewhere to eat as a coeliac, is always a very difficult task. WOW, not only did we feel truly welcomed by the fabulous manager, he also pulled up a seat and sat with us to ensure we would have a great dining experience. The coeliac meal was prepared with the utmost care and the food was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Booked a table for 3 on 22/09/24 based off the recommendation from Atly. This trip to Melbourne had been amazing so far, but unfortunately despite letting the wait staff know I was GF, I had a reaction here. Was quite sad given the feedback from other users, and the food tasted really nice. Not sure what it was, but it was (barramundi, gf bread and olives, gf marg pizza), but something got me good

A lovely little Italian restaurant: Pizza and Gnocchi Bar. We shared a few plates of Gnocchi and a pizza in biancho (not tomato based). Between 3 of us. Absolutely scrumptuous food within an absolutely delightful atmosphere. Plenty of different sauces to accompany gnocchi. Simple, yet genuine, tasty yet not over the top. Little pillow puffs that were soft and light...only 10% flower and gluten free apparently. Coming from an Italian background, we do make home made gnoccli from scratch. Despite Gemma's rendition being different they were very appetising and lovely to eat. Probably one of my favourite dishes to eat at home and I never order them when dining out as it's rare to find them so good. The porcini pizza was in bianco as I've mentioned. Subtle flavours with the essence of truffle oil which is my favourite. Absolutely very yummy. The base was was light thin yet fluffy around the crust. It can be made with a gluten free option if you prefer. The chef also provided us with arancini as an entre. I absolutely loved them...hope they get back onto the menu in the future. The green chilli oil was also an excellent accompanyment to our meal especially with the garlic focaccia. As far as service goes, it was exceptional during our dinner. Thankyou and I look forward to the next dine in experience.

I wanted to order a takeaway through uber for my partners birthday. We have previously eaten here before and get a gluten free base pizza. I called to ask if that was ok if I could order through the app and request if they did a gluten free base. The guy on the phone said they don’t do gluten free bases there. I responded that I’ve had them before here and he said well you can write it in the notes. I said well I’m not going to pay for pizzas if they are not going to be gluten free bases so I said will they be gluten free base and he responded no. Terrible, terrible service and did not make me feel welcome at all. Not accommodating and quite frankly rude.

After having an amazing dinner here previously, thought we'd try breakfast. Everything was so tasty. With there Coeliac Australia accreditation we also felt safe dinning here with a Coeliac child. The gluten free breakfast options were served with a delicious thick slice of GF sourdough.

Cute spot, can be quite busy, but good service. We mainly get takeaway, have the best gluten free base options in the hills, actually taste good & not like potato or cardboard! The pork sausage & the spicy eggplant are our faves. The salads are good too, although a little pricy for the size.

Best Italian restaurant in Fitzroy . Homemade Pastas are to die for. We tried the wildboar and garlic prawns and we loved it! Plenty of options for Vegan, vegetarians and gluten free. I came upon this place by chance and ordered a gluten free pizza. It was so delicious! I really enjoyed the flavour of the toppings and the texture of the crust: authentic and flavoursome. The service was really prompt, which was quite an achievement in itself as the owner was working on his own and had so many orders to fill. I highly recommend trying the food there.

We were accosted at the door at 5.30pm that we had to be out at 7pm. No hello, no welcome, not even wait for us to get to the table. Just make sure to get the heck out?? Well don't worry we won't bother returning. This in itself wouldnt be a deal breaker but the food was subpar bordering gross. The gluten free menu isnt gluten free, it's just low gluten. When ordering a Pinot grigio, it tasted like a watered down chardonnay. Good luck if you dare go here.

Ladro in Fitzroy is without a doubt one of the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is impeccable. I tried the Badabing pizza, and it was spectacular—perfectly crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and an unbeatable balance of flavors. We also had homemade pasta and a tiramisu that ended the night on a perfect note. I also loved that they offer vegan and gluten-free options, showing their commitment to all diners. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

So impressed with the food and service here, we had a capricciosa pizza, arancini, salad and a gluten free focaccia and couldn’t fault any of it. Accompanied with a couple of their tap beers and a crisp, dry Prosecco - we were really impressed with all of it! Pasta looked great as well, will have to try it next time. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We arrived as first time visitors to Australia and 20mins before closing!! We asked if it was too late to order as we had just got off airplane and were starving they said no problem. We both had two drinks and I had an unbelievable pizza, my wife had gluten free pasta as she is gluten intolerant and had lots options, she said it was amazing. The background music was brilliant 70’s and 80’s rock and pop. We were not rushed at all, staff were very friendly and chatty. We will return to enjoy another evening there before leaving. They

My pizza (Vesuvius) looked great but was extremely salty, most likely due to anjovis that had not been soaked. This pizza was also supposed to contain gorgonzola but I did not detect any, possibly because the anjovis taste might have overwhelmed the gorgonzola taste but I also did not notice any gorgonzola visually. My wife's gluten free pizza was much smaller, and there was not as much toppings as you would have expected for the price (especially considering that there was a $4 surcharge on the gluten-free base). All pizza prices seemed to be about $5 higher compared to other pizzerias of similar quality that we have recently visited. Service was very friendly but it took longer than expected to place our order - and get a drink while we were waiting for our meals. In fact my beer arrived after I had received my pizza.

Lovely location in front of the water. Waiter was lovely. Lady at the register wasn’t friendly. We sat at our table and I was given unwashed plate for my pizza. I handed it back to her and she admitted it was dirty but offered no apology. Gluten free pizza was delicious at least.

I ordered the picnic box for 4 people. It arrived exactly on time and was loaded straight into my car. It was such a delight to open the box! Everything was well packaged and we had everything we needed. It was soooo delicious! One of my picnic guests is coeliac and she was happily catered for. I’ll happily order this again - such a relaxing and delicious way to cater for a picnic. Thanks Vaporetto.

My friends & family have dined at Hawthorn a number of times, every time the staff have been so lovely and accommodating with dietary requirements and are so helpful. The food is phenomenal! Highly recommend the Mushroom Ragu but their pizzas are also so yummy! Lots of Vegan, Veggie & Gluten Free Options! Cocktails aren't too expensive if you are feeling fancy! Definitively a must visit! Fabulous place. Our waiter was friendly and professional, he was super nice about all my dietary restrictions (GF, DF, no eggs) and carefully explained the menu and what they could do. The best gluten free pasta I've ever had by a mile. Glorious! And lovely wine list!

Absolutely amazing. I had the gluten free pizza and wow it cannot get any better than this !! The food was delicious and pizza came very quick as well. Service handled the busy night very well, and the atmosphere was warming, definitely recommend if you’re looking for authentic pizza and pasta :)
