Great atmosphere and interior design. Just came here for some lunch. The food was good but I don’t think it reflected the price paid. Did not try anything off the drinks menu though the drinks at other tables did look great. I really appreciated that the whole menu was gluten free and there were plenty of vegan options.

I was at RPS in Hardware Lane yesterday for lunch - with a group of five. The food was sensational. We chose banquet 6. The portions were very generous and incredibly delicious. One of our diners was gluten free and another vegetarian. Their needs were catered for without them having to miss out on anything. There are many options available to select your own choices to make up a banquet. Service was spot on! I was spoilt by the restaurant as it was my birthday. They surprised me with a snapper cracker (you must try it) for a starter and a passionfruit bavarios for dessert. If you want to treat your taste buds and enjoy great service, this is the restaurant for you.

Service - Great hospitality by Debra, super cordial and can tell she likes being around people. Felix is quite friendly as well. Food - Used Groupon vouchers but the food was plentiful and made 4x different variations on each meal and got all correct. They do extra crispy bacon and poached eggs as an option. The gluten free option (no extra charge!), girlfriend thought they were excellent and we thought they tasted even better than our normal pancakes 🥞 Atmosphere - very clean and organised

I treated my sister who is gluten free to the Summer Sips high tea. We were very impressed with the attentive service that we experienced. The staff had excellent attention to detail, they made sure we had a wonderful afternoon. The cocktails were well balanced with the food selection. The biggest highlight was the GF selection, the savory pastry was delicious!

Strange vibe here. The food was very quick but felt sort of lackluster and the gluten free bun was very dry and hard. It’s clear that they’re cutting some corners with staffing which makes the customer service poor. You can’t ask for anything from your table really. You have to go to the bar. And if you already have food at your table and want dessert you have to go outside to order dessert. Just a weird set up that makes the whole experience make the customer feel like a bother.

I am so glad I found this joint! A cool space with a good atmosphere and excellent customer service. If you’ve seen any of my food posts you’ll know I’m that person with a ridiculous food intolerance that is usually not considered. Here it was! They have a separate emu that lists the items open for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, fructose free, onion free and garlic and onion free! What? So good! My bloke and I shared a few dishes when eating out for the first time in… for ever! Delicious cabbage and pork dumplings, legit fried rice, crispy pork belly and eye fillet steak - we had sauces on the side for him to enjoy and me to avoid and both thoroughly enjoyed a top notch, tasty meal along with a couple of crisp and light rice lagers. I bought some of the yummy smelling teas to go. A first class experience. Thanks!

Dinner for 2 on a Tuesday night which was packed with people, luckily we made a booking. We got the signature set for $190 per person, which I felt was plenty of food. Everything we had was delicious and cooked to perfection, especially the citrus butter scallops, glazed fish collar, wagyu shish and slow roasted lamb shoulder. They tried to accomodate my gluten intolerance by swapping for gf bread, gf breadcrumbs and gf chocolate mousse which was great! Atmosphere was classy and dark however was noisy due to being cramped with people. Service was amazing with waiters explaining each dish however again it was too noisy to hear them. It is on the pricier side, we spent almost $500 including drinks for 2 of us, so not a place I’d come to often. But it was nice for a birthday celebration.

Highly recommended as this restaurant is in a beautiful area, staff are friendly and efficient, food is delicious and atmosphere is chilled. We had the Sweet Potato poached eggs on gluten-free toast with avacado and red chillie scrambled eggs with coffee's. It was delicious, and coffee was amazing. We were lucky with our timing and got a table straight away. However, within 5 mins, there were huge queues for the restaurant. So it's advisable to book if you can. I would still strongly advise: it's worth the wait as we had a wonderful experience. Thank you so much to the staff and restaurant.

We had a delightful evening at Aru. The food was all delicious; the duck and fish collar were standout dishes. One of our group is a coeliac and most of the menu was suitable and adapted when needed in a seamless and fuss free fashion. All in all a special dining experience.

Dine in- the restaurant is fun. Staff are really friendly, killer menu. We managed to get out of there without ordering dessert but I still have that bucket thing on my mind. I had the chicken burger. Sauce and cheese were super tasty. And the chicken was high qual. My partner had the GF burger and the bun was decent (for being gluten free).

Fiancé and I came here and had French fries as an appetizer and seafood linguini. She enjoyed the linguini which is a big deal because she is gluten free so they had a few options that were gluten free! There was a Hispanic gentleman that was helping bring people into the restaurant that was very nice and had a nice conversation with!

Second visit but first time we had eaten there. The restaurant was very relaxing and tables well spaced. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, as I am a coeliac and their mess are marked online and in-house with dietary options. We had the chicken and prawn past dishes both of which were really good. They also stock two bays GF Pale ale, which is great as a coeliac.

The best!! Spicy vodka pasta was on point 🫶 Went here for a dinner to celebrate my birthday. The cocktails were so yummy, particularly the strawberry, pear and lemon sorbet cocktails! Atmosphere was cozy and waiters were super attentive. Drinks and food came out quickly and we had a feast😋 My friends favourites were the gnocchi and the vodka pasta. They also have some very good gluten free options (I had to double check they were gluten free because they were so convincing😭) Bookings are for two hours only but we were lucky and got the table for four hours. Had such a great time - would recommend for family, friends, birthdays and definitely functions!!

Wonderful French breakfast for 4 this morning after we strolled in without a booking. Staff were genuine, helpful and accommodating. They quickly found us a table together. Ordered Gluten free garlic bread and Pizza Absolute garbage, if you have ever bitten into plaster board that’s what you will get Garlic bread hard as nails, for Melbourne cuisine this is beyond disappointing.

Great buffet breakfast options, including many gluten free options - even a dedicated gluten free toaster just for the gluten free bread, and gluten free cereal options! As a coeliac, it was great to have so many options. Only suggestion would be to make the allergen markings more consistent - while the baked beans were marked GF (as you’d expect), the scrambled eggs and jams/spreads were not marked GF, which was confusing. However, would totally visit again - great buffet breakfast experience.

We ordered the Carlos set menu for $99 per person for a belated birthday celebration/catchup with a friend. Best things about Palermo: - the chorizo! - our server, Natalie! She was friendly and super accommodating of my annoying dietary restrictions. She swapped the morcilla for the chorizo, and looked for gluten-free and dairy-free options for me. Thanks again, Natalie! :) Not-so-good: -steak: sadly, it was chewy and tough in some parts :( Looking forward to this one, too. -ensalada: it felt like it was sitting out for too long on the counter that the dressing started to congeal almost

What a great cafe! Owner and staff were super friendly, the menu is great and plenty of gluten free options. The prices are very reasonable and the portions sizes are generous. We had the smashed avo and it was delicious, my only let down was there could have been a little more feta, we only got 2 small cubes. Coffee was great too. We'll definitely come back when we're in Melbourne next

Would be 5 stars if they offered Gluten Free chips with the meals. Being Coeliac (Gluten Intolerance) When paying the higher prices for the meals I think they should offer GF chips as an option. Mash as a replacement disappointing. Otherwise this was a very pleasant dining experience and the steaks and ribs we had were cooked perfectly, Wait staff were excellent and the meals well presented (except for the scoop of mash where my chips should be).

Used to eat here pre Covid. Standard has dropped a little unfortunately. Had lunch today (weekday) and food was very average - nasi goreng was quite bland and didn’t have enough spices. Would be nice if they had more gluten free options! Portion size is good though, at least I felt full afterwards. Service and ambience great for catching up with friends so it’s a good place for meetups.

Best hotel restaurant I have been to in memory. The staff are genuine and caring and the food is exactly what you hope for: served hot and clearly fresh ingredients with good flavour. I had a few meals here including dinner and breakfast and had to ask a couple of questions about my dietary requirements (gluten-free). The staff were authentic in checking with the kitchen for me and the kitchen made some very thoughtful changes to the dishes in response. Indian fried chicken and seasonal vegetables were hot and delicious. I don’t write a lot of reviews but I had a great experience here.

Wonderful for coeliacs. Every care was taken to ensure my meal was safe. I had a poke bowl, and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I went with a work group and everyone enjoyed their meals. Upstairs room was also quiet. If I lived in Melbourne I would definitely be returning.

Sbriga cafe is my go to when at the office. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh and delicious and they are very accommodating to vegetarians and Gluten free. The chai- tea latte is one of the best I have ever had!

When the restaurant gets it so right, you have to physically restrain yourself from jumping for joy and running around 'hygging' the staff… The quality of produce is so squeaky clean, masticating each smørrebrød feels like an honour. 
For the carb-fearing zealots, the rye bread on each dish is thinly sliced, ensuring the eclectic toppings remain the hero, with no threat of dastardly demise into the depths of gluten hell. (GF/Paleo is also available, FYI). Three to five open sandwiches per person is the breezy recommendation and playing it coy, I went for the minimum - enough to put a spark in my step for traipsing to the next meeting. If I could go above 5 stars I would, especially for service! Last night my colleagues and I went to Sud whilst visiting Melbourne from Auckland. It came highly recommended and it did not disappoint!! The food was delicious, the cocktails were yum and the Italian wine recommendation from Vincenzo was perfect. We had a fabulous wholesome evening with great laughs, great food and GREAT service. Vincenzo has created an amazing experience at Sud and we were also looked after by Darren who was also fabulous. We had 3 dietary requirements, one gluten free and myself vegan. They happily catered for us and as Darren said, nobody misses out at Sud. Thank you very much!

Brim CC Japanese Organic we decided to go there for a late breakfast 10.30 am they open at 10 there is construction going on in the street so the ambience is not great but this is more than made up for in the great food and friendly service. I had the HALF CURRY & rice + Soup SET --- $12.50 it was the chicken curry really good with miso soup made with lots of veges and meat balls delish. My wife had the Tokyo Bento --- $12.00 Rice balls, Meatball, potato salad w/Japanese mayo, traditional carrots and egg plant & tofu w/sweet miso Not only did this look fantastic it tasted fantastic 10 out of 10. We liked it that much we had to go back the next day and shared the Buckwheat Pancake (Gluten Free) --- $8.00 + With sauteed Organic summer veges + With Organic Fruits and honey (as sweets) The Pancake with veg was huge taking up almost all of the plate covered with Japanese style veg it was very good. The fruit pancake though not as big was very tasty and wonderfully sweet. We also had the Japanese tea on both occasions having never tasted this before it is a treat for the senses very different almost a sort of meaty after taste. The service was very friendly and helpful. We would defiantly recommend that you try Brim CC Japanese Organic.

Great atmosphere and amazing customer service, almost perfect for a mixed group of dietary needs. We got whole fish, oysters, muscles and nearly all the veg options, which of were almost all vegan, which was great. If they added a veg main and more gluten free options it would be perfect!
