First time here in years! I remember coming for their grand opening and back when they introduced their Hawaiian plates! Had a decent poke bowl (I built my own mini guy). I will say their portions were less than what I remembered from my first impressions. My bowl came to $14.18 including tax, which had a base, a sauce, 1 protein option (you pay by the scoop and my salmon was $3), 3 sides, and 1 crunch. It's drastically different compared to say, Steve's Poke Bar, where you can choose unlimited sides for a similar price. I always find it odd when a poke shop limits customers' number of "crunches" as the cost must be so minor to produce - items like furikake, fried onions, fried garlic, sesame seeds, etc. It would go a long way to allow people to have more than one as a topper. The sesame mayo sauce was great and I was told it didn't have dairy (milk/eggs) in it. I had the shoyu Atlantic salmon, with corn, edamame, and imitation crab.
On the plus side, the staff were kind and patient as I ordered. I was asking about items with gluten/dairy due to a sensitivity, and they seemed to know their menu. They get quite a few online orders through delivery apps, as most people during a weekday lunch hour took their food to-go.

I am gluten free and I am obsessed with Megabite. But $5 extra for gluten free is just way too much. It comes out to over $30 for a medium pizza. It hurts having to be gluten free, it hurts even more to pay exorbitant amounts for less food that doesn’t taste as good as the original. I had to stop ordering from here a while ago. Used to order at least 1x week but being a celiac is tough especially with extra charges on top rising prices 😥. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. The person serving us was friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. It is not just all the creative topping combinations: the waffles are legitimately and by a significant margin the best waffles I have ever put in my mouth.
I have two pieces of feedback, neither of which are enough to warrant a reduced star rating. First, the menu says that any waffle option can be made gluten free by using buckwheat waffles and then, the first waffle my wife ordered, she was told it could not be made gluten free because it is dipped in egg (like French toast). If there are waffle options that are not available gluten free then the menu should indicate that as otherwise it just leads to unnecessary disappointment. I would also recommend that the company reconsider the buckwheat waffles for people who have gluten allergies / sensitivities. I watched my wife eating it and it just crumbles. It has no substance at all. I have made much better gluten free waffles at home, so I know it is possible. I suggest trying a half rice flour / half tapioca flour mix.

The ambience is stunning. The best dishes: frogs legs, tuna, escargot and the sole. It's the first time I have seen sole deboned table side, which was neat and a nice touch. The servers are a little pushy on the sauce-if we don't want sauce, we don't need it, no need to hover and wait for us to douse or fish. The frogs legs were insanely good. I would recommend they include different bread sides for the caviar as the potato hashbrowns (rather than the bread) are too tart, and ruin the flavour. For gluten free people they should have gluten free bread. The steak tartar was only good when it was mixed or dipped in the sauce next to it, sauce should be mixed in or better as a stand alone. Overall, beautiful food.
