The place is very nice. I bought cupcakes for my son's birthday celebration in his class. When I said there are 2 gluten allergic kids in the class, the lady gave 3 extra gluten free cakes for free. Plus she packed them separately because some parents don't want their kid's food even touching the gluten food. How nice and thoughtful she was! The cupcakes were so cute and my son says they were yummy ☺️ His favorite is the red ones. This was the first time I bought something from here but I will definitely go back.

I love the food at Vertical Diner. Everything is vegan and there are many clearly labeled gluten free options. Once in a while the service is “off,” but I’ve been going here for years and it is one of my favorite places to eat in SLC.

I love the natural grocer. They have such a wonderful selection of gluten free and vegan treats and snacks. I can't find most of the items they stock anywhere else. Their produce is top notch, good quality and very fresh. Their stock of certain items has diminished due to supply issues but is otherwise still my favorite store. I wish I could afford to shop there more. One small handbasket of groceries cost me $100. It's not much more than average for groceries but the specialty items often have less quantity so it can hurt the pocketbook. They also have great sales, clearance racks and a rewards program. Plus it's a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere which makes it worth the extra $ because it's safer than being in a busy, crowded place.

I am always looking for great gluten free options which is always tough when it comes to desserts, but they absolutely nailed it. I had their tres leches cake & a couple macrons.. and it didn't disappoint. Great flavors and some of the best gluten free texture I've had. Will make an effort to get back their soon!

Very busy for dinner time, however the server was very helpful and attentive. She made sure to go over the cheeses and the types of food they serve since was our first time. Amazing pizzas. They were able to accommodate a special diet vegetarian and a gluten allergy with no issues. Love that you can choose from either sitting inside or outside to sit. The drink menu is extensive with soo many choices and varieties. You can even build your own pizza. Great place to try. Highly recommend!!

First visit to the Pie Pizzeria, opted for a simple pepperoni 12 inch pizza - delicious, friend opted for gluten free cheesy pull-apart bread - also amazing (which is a surprise as decent GF bread is hard to come by!). Was only in town for a couple of days, will definitely return if I'm back in SLC.

I fell in love with this place. It's a shame I was in a hurry today because the warm welcoming atmosphere made me want to kick back and spend the rest of my afternoon here. The food was delicious and actually gluten free! The matcha and strawberry ice latte? Refreshing and well balanced. Rebuilding My Life

First time at Cubby’s, and they’re missing the boat. Tacos should always have a corn tortilla option, especially for those who eat gluten free. I had to pick the tri-tip and toppings off the tacos, which I will say were tasty, but would have been much better in a corn tortilla. And would have been much more filling. Suggestion from a Texan, add corn tortillas please. On a side note, the rosemary fries and fry sauce were good. And my hubby enjoyed the Gypsy burger quite a bit. Also, the service was excellent. And why is it 65 degrees in here? We had to get hoodies from the car.

This is the best airport food I've ever had!! Seriously phenomenal. As someone with food allergies, I almost never find an option while flying. Vessel Kitchen had plenty of options to check the gluten free and dairy free boxes. The restaurant is clean, fast, friendly, and informative. The food is delicious!! I got the shoyu tuna, thai noodle salad, and roasted sweet potatoes. Each item was great and went so well together. The sweet potatoes especially exceeded expectations! Highly recommend if you are a traveler with food allergies.

Service was wonderful and insanely fast. My burger came out less than three minutes after ordering, fries were hot and crispy. Burger veggie patty was really tasty, only felt the amount of avocado added was sparse. They also list a bunch of local ingredients sourced on the back of the menu, which I always love supporting when traveling. Glad to see some vegan and vegetarian options and gluten free food / drinks as well.

Maggie was our server and she was incredible!! The menu was a little intimidating and she walked us through step by step. We had a gluten free person in our party and they were about to accomdate us which was awesome. We went to celebrate a friend and it's an experience I won't soon forget. Meat cuts were great quality the flavors were on point. Highly recommend!

The quintessential hipster coffee shop experience. Friendly staff, lively atmosphere with lots of people, but not over-the-top crowded. Lots of options for lots of different types of people. Several gluten-free options, which was a nice surprise.

Picked this spot for brunch today solely based on seeing gluten free pancakes on their menu. It did not disappoint! Upon parking, the Cafe seems small, but when I walked in, I was surprised how big it was. Everyone was very friendly, from the hostess, the waiter and even the person who got me coffee and water. The cooking area is literally in the center of the Cafe, surrounded by old fashioned red stools that wrap around almost the whole area. There are booth and table options.... Plenty of seating arrangements. I was sat within just a few minutes of entering, no wait at all. Which was amazing, considering it's Sunday, and brunch time. I ordered a cup of black coffee, and 2 of the gluten free pancakes. The pancakes were made so quickly, and they came out warm, buttery, and fluffy. I am always looking for gluten free options, especially for breakfast/brunch. And was so happy to find this Cafe. I will definitely be back.

Weird manager who yells at people and threatens to call the cops on them for being in the parking lot? Hard pass. None of their products are worth the trip to this awful location that's impossible to get to anyway in any amount of traffic. Side note: Trader Joe's is not a safe place to buy from if you have celiac or any gluten sensitivity. They do not label their products well and refuse to certify anything as gf, they have had many recalls for contaminated products that were labeled gf that in fact contained gluten, and they keep changing manufacturers and ingredients without making the changes obvious so that things previously considered gf now have added gluten. If you need gluten free food, just STAY AWAY from shopping here.

I really liked the place it was super cozy. I asked for almond milk since I have a gluten and dairy allergy and she made it with oat milk and then MY COUSIN CAUGHT THE MISTAKE AND THEN SHE changed it to almond milk . I went down to ask for vanilla for flavor and sweetness they gave me vanilla extract and didn't say anything to me . I still liked the place and I would give it a try when I visit again.

We love Caffe Molise! It's our go-to date night spot in SLC! We have enjoyed many dishes on the menu and have loved every one. My favorite have been their salmon specials (especially the lemon curry salmon), my husband loves the pasta. The cheesecake is incredible. Our most recent visit we brought friends who needed accommodations for celiac (gluten-free) and the restaurant was amazing! Very gluten-free friendly!

I might be a bit biased, but I love the Bayou! We’ve consistently received good service, and both the food and drinks are delicious. They offer gluten-free options on their menu, and during our last visit, our server was incredibly helpful in finding me something safe to eat. It’s one of my favorite spots for a tasty meal.

Well, I like their pizzas but this is disappointing: I couldn't get them on the phone so I ordered online, and made sure to leave my phone number just in case. Only when I picked up the pizzas I learned they were out of gluten free dough (and I had to ask) and basically just substituted to non gluten free (quite the inconvenience for my celiac friend, it's not like we requested it for fun). They didn't even ask me if I would prefer a refund and not get a pizza I basically did not order. Probably a good place to eat at, but they need to figure out their online ordering system or answer the phone, and just stop offering it if they can't get it together... I want to be considerate of how hard it is to run a restaurant, but this didn't feel great.

Dali Crepes is delicious. The servers were very accommodating and friendly. The food came out all at the same time and was as ordered. The presentation is beautiful and the serving sizes are substantial. The only negative, which was major for us, was that it advertises to have gluten free options, but it is not safe for celiacs as they use the same crepe grills for all crepes, so they are cross-contaminated. There are very few actual gluten free options at this restaurant.

I ordered gluten friendly pizza and got a burnt round cracker that had toppings on 2/3 of each slice. I was starving (just got into my hotel from the airport) so I ate it but was pretty disappointed.

Tasty, healthy, affordable fast food. This is our go-to for takeout (eat-in atmosphere is blah). Great for anyone with dietary restrictions—it's easy to get a balanced vegan meal, or to avoid gluten (which they keep out of most of their staple sauces & mains). Zao is much better than most of the food available in this neighborhood (except Piko, which is a whole other ballgame).

While probably not as good as the hype around it suggests, Matteo is a good Italian restaurant for SLC and in a great location. A few comments on the food and service: 1- the service (while a bit slow…was excellent). 2- the pastas, lasagna, risotto, and even the pollo dish are all good, but not great. Sicilia Mia is likely better. 3- The Cesar salad is great…and huge. Definitely a shared salad. 4- Excellent gluten free pasta noodle. I need to figure out where they are getting it. They use a noodle that is quinoa and brown rice and it was both delicious and perfectly cooked. 5- The panna cotta and the lemoncello bread pudding aren’t good and I would suggest skipping entirely. The best panna cotta (by a wide margin) along the Wasatch Front is at Maestra in American Fork. 6-The whipped Brie is excellent and worth getting to share as an appetizer. I saw this place online probably a month ago. We finally went tonight. This is literally the best gluten and dairy free ice cream I’ve had. I will be back and will get some scoops for the drive home and a pint for the week or maybe two. I tried Budderfinger and Milk Chocolate Frostee they were both super good but the Budderfinger is probably the best butterfinger flavored ice cream I’ve ever had. I highly recommend coming here. They have plenty of options if you’re in my shoes. It made my whole night.

Gluten free pancakes were so good! My husband had the stuffed French toast,v which he loved. I stole some of his "stuffing," a delicious creamy concoction, and put it on my pancakes. So good! Next time I would ask if we could get stuffed GF pancakes. Huge portions. Can get a single pancake as one of the sides with the egg dishes. Pretty much of a diner atmosphere. Server refilled my decaf coffee with regular, but I caught it. She was sweet but nothing special as far as service.
