My Husband is Gluten Free and this came up on the internet. Was perfect opens at 5.00pm and after walking miles around this glorious town we were ready for an early supper. This is a MUST GO for people with celiac. I had the best experience. They have a gluten free menu, just have to ask for it. And it has plenty of options from the main menu that you can have. Our waiter was very thoughtful and even put my husband’s croutons on the side of his salad just in case we shared it. When my food came each time, he acknowledged the safety of my meal to me. We chose to celebrate our ten year anniversary at Husk. We had scallops for our appetizer, that were fresh and light but I would prefer a sear or for them to be warm. I appreciate the creativity of the chef though! I am celiac so wanted to have the cornbread which was a savory delight! We were surprised to only see one fish entree on the menu and that’s what I chose for my entree! It too was very creative with lots of flavor. My husband had the rabbit and while a much heavier and heartier dish, he enjoyed it as well. I think we both would have liked to see more fish on the menu but maybe there is on other nights. Our server was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and aware allergens. I felt very safe eating here with celiac and was so pleased with the options. One way to make a celiac happy is to have more options on the dessert menu and there were several! I couldn’t believe the cake we shared was gluten free! It was out of this world and probably my favorite part of the meal!

She truly made my birthday so special!! The food was delicious! We had the she crab soup, calamari, loaded mash potatoes and the Ribeye!! All gluten free!!!!!

I live in Texas and Miller’s is at the top of my list of places to go when I visit Charleston. Every time I go I try something new and I’m NEVER disappointed . The cinnamon roll, Avacado toast, the monster cookie (extra points for it being gluten free) and espresso martini are a few of my favorites. The James Island location is such a quaint, family friendly place that my 5 year old absolutely loves and the downtown location has such a fun vibe. Wine flights were delicious and a good deal! We stopped by for drinks and snacks. They have a gluten free option for their flatbreads which was tasty. We sat at the bar inside and the bartender was attentive and helpful.

We heard about FIG after arriving in Charleston and we’re blessed enough to be able to get reservations late. Although we were seated at 10 PM, our server, Drew was just as attentive and patient as if it were the beginning of the evening. One of our friends has a very restrictive diet – no gluten, no dairy.Drew went through the entire menu and was able to accommodate 3/4 of the menu along with the chef’s recommendations to suit our friend. We cook and have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the country and found FIG to be TOP TIER ! The ricotta gnocchi with lamb bolognese was absolutely outstanding. The Brioche crusted flounder was probably the best piece of fish I’ve ever put in my mouth. The textures, flavors and seasonings were spot on. We also enjoyed Escabeche, salads, Bouillabaisse, and I believe every dessert offered ! Don’t go to Charleston without visiting this restaurant!
