This has now become one of my favorite sushi places. Their food is a work of art. Seriously. Art that you get to fully enjoy. Their whole menu (minus one item) is gluten free. That's right. You can enjoy tempura! I teared up a bit about this. It's been almost 13 years since I have had tempura and this place did not disappoint! Their beverages are delicious and beautifully made. Their rolls are flavorful and filling. Their atmosphere is modern and simple, allowing you to focus on the food/art in front of you. Our server was top notch, friendly and knowledgeable. Parking can be difficult because it's the U Village, and it's totally worth it. Fresh, tasty, amazing and absolutely worth it.
It’s kind of wild how busy this place gets, especially since the sushi was pretty subpar. The real perk is the clearly labeled gluten-free menu—huge win—and the happy hour prices make it more appealing.
But let’s talk about the service. Hawaiian shirt and mustache man—yes, you—our waiter. You quite literally stopped serving tables mid-shift to hang out and laugh behind the bar with your friends. We could see you. It wasn’t slammed. You just… opted out. Our food was delivered by kitchen staff, we never got drink refills, and after our plates were cleared (thanks to the ever-diligent dish crew), we sat for another 30 minutes before finally flagging someone down to pay. As we were walking out, you cheerfully waved from behind the bar with a “Have a great day, y’all!” So… you did remember us?
Despite the laughably bad service, the gluten-free options and happy hour prices might bring me back—but next time, I’ll cross my fingers for a different server.
El Moose is lovely! The food is delicious, as a celiac, it’s hard feeling safe and comfortable going out to eat however El Moose is amazing and most of their items are completely GF!
Love it here. Can’t recommend enough!
Ordered delivery , amazing Gluten-free menu. I haven’t seen so many options like that before . I ordered the snappy dragon chow mi fun , it was so delicious and the portion was huge. My new favorite place
We found this little gem while we were out and about. We came here because it had good ratings and gluten-free alternatives. The gluten-free bun was exceptional as was the burger. The service was very friendly. We will be going back the next time we're in Ballard.
Great spot for a snack, dinner or after-work happy hour. Classic or creative taco options for mom and pop or pop-stars looking to impress with their delish Insta pix. Korean BBQ Beef,Bacon Cheeseburger, and Buffalo Chicken tacos were inspired and will keep me coming back for more. The mocktail that riffed on Pina Colada is a most refreshing treat. Server was very accommodating and thoughtful. Gluten or dairy free and vegetarian requirements easily accommodated. Free street parking available within a block or three in a neighborhood that is very walkable, with delightful boutiques and street art, and feels safe day or night. Ask about spice levels as there are a few surprises (refried beans were muy caliente) with heat levels not marked on menu.
Dia de Los Muertos themed Mexican restaurant in Fremont that had vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options and a great bar! They also have choices of outdoor seating.

We went to Rocco‘s and had gluten-free pizza and cocktails. They were absolutely delicious and the vibe was stellar. also, the Greek salad was amazing.
Had a wonderful meal here while in Seattle for business. Needed to take clients somewhere nice but also safe for me to eat with Celiac.
Menu was clearly marked Gluten Free and both hostess and wait staff made extra notes that I had celiac.
There is a decent amount of gluten free options to enjoy and not be left feeling like there’s only one or two things on the menu you can order.
Had zero issues after eating and 12 hours later still feeling good.
Atmosphere was awesome, oysters were fresh and amazing and the Scallops and Prawns were flavorful and delicious.
Great meal and great night out.
I was in Seattle for a conference and came to Tidal twice because it was so good.
The oysters, fish and chips, cocktails, and even desserts were phenomenal. Clearly, because I had to come back for their weekend breakfast (not pictured because I ate it so quickly).
A special thank you to Veasita, George, and Manty (I apologize if I misspelled names). They were so helpful, personable, and charming. Next time I am in Seattle I will be back for happy hour! I only wish I didn’t leave before the shuck and sip class, I would have been the first to sign up.
Note: AMAZING gluten free options here!
I recommend Elliot Bay Public House add more vegetarian and gluten -free options to their menu to remain competitive with similar businesses in the Pacific Northwest. The physical space has a good vibe but after they removed the Sweet Potato Gaufrettes from their menu I rarely go back.
Great food, one of our favorite spots in seattle. They are great at gluten free, but I wish they would show the same care for vegetarian. I ordered a tofu dish, but it came with sardines. I think it’s easily done, you just need to be sure to clarify when vegetarian.
Met with others for lunch and ordered the meat and veggy combo family style, along with fish goulash. Food was great and looked good too.
Do remember what to expect when coming here! Ethiopian food means no utensils but your hands and the injera bread you're using. There's an option for gluten-free injera for those who may care. We didn't get it ourselves and had a plate for each of us to dig in.
With tax and tip, ended up a tad over $20 a person. Will definitely try again if I'm in the area in the future.
Attendee was an absolute angel. Ordered a RedRobin Classic and it did not disappoint. Left full but the gluten in me wanted another round. Good fun in the burger’s delivery too (having fun while on the clock :)
A really fun place with amazing food! It’s our second time here in a month and we had Nikki as our server again, she’s AMAZING 😻! I had the corned beef and hash and it was delicious! Last time I had the Avocado Toast with gluten free bread!! YUM! Atmosphere is nice and hip ! Treat yourself 🙌
Went here on the recommendation from a talented chef friend and his gluten free partner. The restaurant is beautiful, love the wood accents. The food is delicious, some of the best sushi I’ve had in Seattle. I liked trying some more traditional plates like the Braised Snake River Farms wagyu beef skirt konabe with maitake mushrooms and yuchoi, the Rougheye Rockfish (Neah Bay, WA) kama nitsuke with hari ginger and fresh gobo, and the Shishito Peppers blistered and sprinkled with sea salt. After that I tried a flight of nigiri and really enjoyed the Otoro and Black Cod Belly Grilled. Overall a great night with delicious food and attentive service all in a cozy atmosphere.
*the restaurant does add a 20% living wage surcharge to the order but additional gratuity is not expected.
Of all the places I ate on my 10 day vacation, this was, by far and wide, the best food and atmosphere experience. The server was very knowledgeable about allergies and made sure my Celiac self did not get glutened. I will gladly go back the next time I'm in Seattle.
This place is amazing! Great service and yummy vegan food with gluten free options. The vegan salmon was like nothing I’ve ever had. You order drinks at the bar and food from the QR code on your table.
We had Pho Tai Lan and Pho Ha Noi Style both were very flavorful. The music and atmosphere were very pleasant as well. All in all it's a lovely corner Cafe to meet with good friends.
Oh, and they have plenty of Gluten free options.
Went to watch the NBA finals. They have a great sports bar set up with TVs everywhere you look to see the game. Good sound coming through the sound system. We had a reservation, otherwise might not have gotten a seat to watch.
Great drink selection with tons of options on tap.
Minus a star for lack of great gluten free food options. The truffle fries weren't that great
I just loved this place and their food. Great people, great environment. Their pizza "folded pie" was perfection! I couldn't stop eating. Great selection of beers, soft drinks and drinks in general. We had a great time. They have gluten free options and vegan options! We will definitely go back.
Pros: Excellent service, outdoor seating, and a dinner menu with many excellent gluten-free options, and creative takes on traditional Vietnamese dishes. The food and drinks were great, with some unusual dining options, creative pairings, and interesting and complex flavors. Definitely not a typical Vietnamese restaurant -- but something much better.
Cons: 1) Excessively loud music, and 2) accommodating gluten-free diners fell apart when it came to dessert -- the chef absolutely refuses to serve their ice cream (which sounded amazing and would otherwise be gluten-free) in a bowl rather than a cone. That was a disappointing ending to an otherwise great meal.
Absolutely incredible! I keep bringing people here because every meal I’ve had here has been absolutely divine. I have celiacs and a couple allergies so it’s almost impossible to find places that properly accommodate all of that, but they nail it every single time. The staff are so friendly and upbeat, even gave my friends and I some recommendations for hidden Seattle adventures. It’s also a very lovely place, the atmosphere is calming and elegant. Seriously cannot recommend this place more.
Had great service and food at the bar for dinner. Always have an enjoyable time here and the servers I have had lately are really good knowing what I can and can't eat since I have to be gluten free. Also, love the ambiance here. #MatadorRocks
My new favorite bar/restaurant! Had the most incredible meal (veggie sandwich) and they even have a gluten free IPA and several NA beers for my husband, who is sober. Absolutely a place I will return to over and over again!
Food is amazing and ala carte. In house made corn tortillas. Great spot for someone with gluten sensitivity. The reason why I have it 4 stars is if the place is packed it can be hard to hear your dinner companion. They have outdoor seating as well.
The food is amazing with great staff. There are lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten friendly options. Summer is usually our barista/cashier and they are incredible, very friendly and makes great coffee. The kimchi breakfast sandwich is good but my go-to is the meaty breakfast burrito bowl.
I've now been here (or had takeout) a handful of times for brunch and dinner. I've been completely satisfied every time. The food is delicious and filling. The servers have always been super friendly; helpful to a family with a toddler and a diner with Celiac disease. It is usually pretty quiet and easy to get a table. Service is speedy and accurate.
Went went the family and everyone enjoyed the food! Staff was great and since it was such a nice day out so the breeze from the windows felt great.
The gluten free bun was not good, fell apart while eating it so I just used a fork and knife instead. Probably a lettuce wrap would be better.

I asked for gluten free bread to REPLACE my english muffin and they charged me $4 extra… That’s INSANE. It’s not an extra item it’s a replacement… People with allergies and disorders are just treated like garbage and I’m so over it. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOURE GLUTEN FREE.
intention is there but the execution was sadly not. front of house staff seem knowledgeable about celiac but kitchen staff (at least when I was there) are not. yes there's a gluten free fryer and labeled gf items. when I received my gf burger it came out with no cheese. I ask the bartender and after speaking to the cook, they thought celiac = lactose intolerant... I'm a new celiac but learned my lesson by eating it anyways ...
Great local pub. Friendly service and great food. My wife loves the Reuben so much that we usually end up here at least once a week. They're also gluten-friendly they stock a couple GF beer cans, and safe GF food options. My go-to is the GF Reuben with potato side and GF IPA.
Beautiful location, great decorations and atmosphere, but our breakfast was pretty crummy. My Croque Madam was very wet with far too much sauce all over it, so it was soggy. Hubby’s gluten free biscuit was terrible on his Benedict, then tried the normal biscuit and it was also terrible. The hollandaise was too vinegar-y. The coffee tasted like the pot hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Just all-around not good, for high prices. I would go elsewhere.
