Absolutely great for gluten free food. Lots of options on the menu and my food came out marked with an allergy flag. I got the portobello mushroom sandwich and sweet potato fries. Both were excellent. However I am knocking off one star due to the fact the GF buns are awful. The texture isn't good and it started falling apart within a few bites. Switch to a better GF bun and this place would be 5 star. Definitely sit outside if you can as the atmosphere is entertaining (we had a cellist set up and play during our dinner!) Would eat here again without hesitation.
As someone with Celiac Disease, eating out is VERY limited! I am grateful for Grill Marks. Been to Greenville and Columbia multiple times over the past decade. I have never had an issue with gluten cross-contamination here! I appreciate the fries, etc are also dedicated gluten free. My burger is always cooked as ordered. For the price, the value of food quality and service level are completely on par. I will continue to return and if I have a singular experience below the norm, I will still give them another shot!
My daughter was thrilled to be able to have gluten free chicken strips and thought they were delicious! The rest of us had great food too. The service was so friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Looking forward to going back.
Great place for breakfast! Very busy so it is popular. Came here as my wife has celiac. The gluten free biscuit was flavorful and not the worst we have had but definitely ranked higher. Gravy was great as well as the loaded home fries. Really nice place for breakfast overall.

Came here with a friend after some folks from my community recommended it. Overall, my experience here were terrible. Im celiac, so I ordered from the gluten free menu, got sick. before leaving.
As I were told, the people in the pool area can get a bit rowdy. Well, they were rude to my friend, but they seemed to be pretty drunk too so.
Speaking of, the drinks were the best thing aside from the nachos. Upon arriving home, my friend decided to heat up some of the mac n cheese, well; she started eating it and came across what looked like plastic from maybe platsticware wraps. Looked like it couldve been what the cheese were in. I'll never come here again, maybe for an event. But, my first impression of the place was terrible. The service could've been alot better.
Update: threw it away but I want to upload a picture of what was in the GF Mac n cheese
Update: I got refunded and was told that the plastic came from the cheese sauce. The lady we spoke to apologized and assured us she didn’t know how it got in my food.
Love this place! Great place for brunch. Grabbed some coffee and avocado toast. Lots of gluten free options and vegan options. The store side had a great selection of grocery and premade food options. I can’t wait to come back and try everything!
We visited Greenville and were excited to know there was a diner, and it did not disappoint. The gluten-free pancakes are pretty tasty.
🥞 gluten-free pancakes with bacon

I have serious gluten and shellfish allergies and Red Robin did a amazing job keeping my food safe from cross contamination!! Had cheese burger and fries and no reactions! So nice to eat somewhere where they take your allergies very seriously!! Service was great, food was great! If you have gluten allergies and want a great tasting burger try this Red Robin restaurant!
So glad we decided to try this restaurant! Gluten-free and Vegan options that catered to our entire family! Delicious food and the staff were delightful, which made the experience even better. We loved the water station options, hot, cold-flat and cold-bubbly.
Happy Cow strikes again! Found another wonderful gem. Everything here is VEGAN and GLUTEN FREE! They had a special Mediterranean plate that was fantastic. The falafel was probably the best I've ever had. The "Reeses Cups" were basically just chocolate discs, but the oat chocolate chip balls were fantastic. All of the staff were exceptionally FRIENDLY and the whole place was CLEAN and HOMEY.
My friend and I had a great experience at Willy Taco. Shaun and Sydney took amazing care of us and the food was plentiful and delicious.
I am gluten free for medical reasons, so Sydney offered me corn tortillas fried on the griddle in place of the tortilla chips that are made with shared oil. The kitchen forgot to leave the cilantro rice out of my Veg Head Bowl, so Shaun cheerfully noted that I also didn't want the slaw containing cilantro, and took my bowl back to the kitchen. When he brought it back, he had also had the cooks not include crema in my bowl because he noticed that also contains cilantro!!
My bowl was delicious. My friend had the cauliflower and southern tacos and the crispy Brussels sprouts, and loved all of her food. We will definitely be back when we return to the Greenville area. Thanks Shaun and Sydney!!
This is an amazing family friendly Italian restaurant with lots of options and daily specials. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well as inside. Right when you walk in you see the delicious cakes, pastries, and gelato they have to offer. We started off with Aperolspritz with Prosecco, calamari, and spinach and artichoke dip. The calamari portion was small but still tasted great. The spinach and artichoke dip was amazing on the pizza toast that comes with it. We also had three types of their pizza toast include a gluten-free crust. The regular crust tasted like flatbread and was hard towards the crust. The sauce on the Margarita Pizza was extremely salty. Chicken Alfredo was ok and very thick and clumpy. But the highlight was the Limoncetto Cake. Very most and delicious. The gelato was icy and tasted like store bought icecream. Wouldn’t recommend. Overall great atmosphere but would recommend some updates to the menu.
Had a great breakfast, we got the waffles, Salmon Benedict, and gluten free French toast. All of it was delicious. Our server Victoria was great, and friendly.
Just visited for the Highland Games and was so surprised with this cute cafe with VEGAN & GLUTEN FREE bagels! The mermaid juice rainbows in my mouth. Definitely forward to future games in Greenville so we can visit Bex!
Came here to celebrate Father’s Day/my birthday in Greenville. This place inside the Grand Bohemian Lodge looked like a wonderful spot to have lunch and celebrate. The ambiance was warm, well lit with the natural light coming through the large windows. The bar was behind a beautiful counter and behind that was an open kitchen. A lovely manager named Veronica stopped by to wish me a happy birthday and checked on us. Our server Olga brought us over a round of bubbly to celebrate which was super nice and we enjoyed a nice bottle or rose during lunch.
My MIL enjoyed her delicious vanilla custard French toast, while my FIL had a nice light salad. Hubby was able to order the burger with a GF bun since he has celiac and I got their version of a fish and chips sandwich. The fish was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy batter, layered with some slaw on a toasted bun. I would’ve liked just a bit more seasoning or salt on the slaw but it all went well together texturally in the sandwich. They later brought out my favorite dessert ever which was crème brûlée and even had a cute HBD chocolate sign on it. Olga was very attentive and had a great personality. She made the experience very enjoyable and we had a great time.
Oh no! I forgot to get a picture, but my burger was amazing! Thick, juicy in-house ground filet mignon and prime rib. Great portion size, I couldn't even finish it even without the bun! No gluten-free bun, but they do have a gluten free lemon pound cake which I had to get to go. I took a couple little bites of it, comes with strawberries, some syrups and whipped cream... my to go container is pictured. Can't wait to dig in! We really enjoyed our bartender, Stella, our service was fabulous! Spouse had the triple play which was three different sliders, all were delicious, definitely recommend that too! You have several options on sides that are included. It was a hard decision I ended up just choosing fries, my husband chose to have the mac 'n cheese and was also served complimentary cornbread (not gluten free).
Amy and her team at Tacozzini were amazing, handling a massive takeout order for our wedding party on 4.21.23 and hand-delivering it to Wisteria Augusta Salon where we were getting our hair and makeup done for my wedding last week. They made sure everything was labeled (we had some gluten-free and vegan options included), and even offered to bring over nice table settings and catering silverware to elevate our experience! We declined, in case our hair and makeup finished early and we had to eat and dash (or eat in hair chairs). Everyone loved their food and it was such a great spot, highly recommend Tacozzini for anyone needing gluten-free, dairy-free, or just delicious options for dinners, lunches, or takeout!!
Great experience, first time! Staff was professional and kind when I preferred my coffee warmer. Quaint atmosphere and fresh Egg & Avo sandwich tasted great, and they had a good gluten-free bread & oat milk. These are real gifts for those of us who have a gluten and dairy intolerance.
I was so impressed with this location. I have been to others around the country, and the Greenville location is truly the BEST!
The attention to your dietary needs was fantastic!
I ordered the Cuban sandwich on gluten-free bread. Absolutely delicious. I also ordered the gluten-free flourless chocolate cheesecake... Yummy! Best Gluten-free Chocolate Cheesecake in the upstate!
One of my favorite spots in town! Love the diverse menu, always new options but continually some good staples! And HAS GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS THAT AREN'T JUST VEGGIES. What a warm staff (Drew and Kelly especially) great drinks and always new wine pairings. Try the seasonal mule, so delicious.
Just one of my regular go to’s when I know I want a good meal in a great space.
Had a great meal. Shrimp and grits for me (gluten free). My dining partners had strict vegetarian requirements and the waitstaff went above and beyond to make changes to accommodate expanding their vegetarian options. Special mention to Dave!
This place has had our favorite tacos every. Every single family member has loved their meal. I loved the shrimp ceviche taco and the the fish tacos. They were full of flavor and super good. The chocolate pot was amazing too. Being a celiac I was able to order from the menu and have desert. We can’t wait to go back next time we are in town… best part is that those working were so very nice.
This place rocks! They have an incredible selection of Latin American foods to choose from, all prepared to perfection. The service was next level as well. We felt very well taken care of, and my wife's gluten-free request was handled with special care. We'll go back again and again!
First time visitor to CAMP. I really enjoyed the food, especially the curry and the gluten free chocolate dessert with salted caramel ice cream.
The dishes are mostly small plates. But there are some entrees on the menu. The curry was one of the entree sized dishes.
I’m including a picture of the gluten free items.
They make really good gluten free pancakes to go with anything you eat. The bbq chicken was amazing and so was the potato salad! The atmosphere was a 12 out of 10! Definitely a must eat place!!
A friend and I started our morning at the Farmers Market downtown and ended at Eggs Up Grill! Lori was our server and she made everything great! I have celiac and she went above and beyond to make sure I could have what I wanted and was still safe with my allergy! Couldn't recommend her enough! Don't forget to ask for her!
Stopped
in for a quick lunch, food was amazing and service was excellent. Nice that menu was marked with gluten-free and dairy free options. Will definitely be back!!!
The ambiance is wonderful. The service was the worst I have ever had. From the staff not coming over to take a drink order for several minutes, to the order coming out over 30-40 min later, to not knowing what was gluten free, to forgetting to bring half the order after the 40 min wait. I expect a lot better service and competence for a high end restaurant like this. The gentleman next to me waited forever for a crab soup and then had to go begging for silverware. A true reflection of poor management with such poorly trained, bartenders and kitchen staff.
We had come here a year ago and had one of the best dining experiences ever. The service was over the top and the food was amazing. They spoiled us and catered to my celiac daughter like no other restaurant had. So it is hard to not be let down from that! Our experience tonight was not the same. The food was still delicious so don’t hesitate to go. The service was good. Our server from last time is the manager - good for him because he understands the service industry. He remembered our party and was so sweet. Our waitress tonight was ok. Because we were a large party we had a 20% tip added on. We usually tip more that that anyway. There were several things that let us down versus last time. One example is two people in our group ordered mojitos - one vodka and one rum. Both people complained about the drinks. They were strong with no flavor. The waitresses solution was to bring a second glass with soda water. When she came back she asked how was the drink and was told umm ok but with a look that let her know it wasn’t. The drinks weren’t drank because they were not good and she didn’t check or credit them. Silly but you could have offered something else or made it ok. Oh well. We were spoiled once. We will try again.
A brunch specific review - it's aight.
The food is ok and the servers are nice, but it's hard to recommend this when you can go across the street to Nosedive and get a better brunch for cheaper. They also don't have some of the gluten free options advertised on their website for brunch - there's maybe 2 things on the menu if you have a gluten free person in your party. Sobys may just be better served as a dinner place
Absolutely fantastic food. I got the Greenville burger (with bacon) and my wife got a grilled chicken sandwich. She said it was the best gluten free bun she's ever had. My burger was also stellar. This is what an American grill should be.
Also, we made a mistake with our order and they were so accommodating to us. Excellent customer service even though they were busy.
I have celiac disease and ordered a petite filet and a loaded baked potato and got sick. I’m disappointed that the kitchen is not more careful with cross contamination and doesn’t seem to take food allergies seriously. I tried to order safe items and asked the server to please verify they don’t put anything else on their grill that contains gluten and to make sure they know my meal should be gluten free. Although the steak was delicious, I ended up with a stomach ache (intestinal damage) for the next several days. I think they must have items on the grill that contain gluten, or it was something in the loaded baked potato. . I never have this problem at Hall’s in Charleston, but there’s some kind of cross contamination going on at the Greenville one because I usually end up sick no matter how careful I try to be. I realize they can’t guarantee anything but it’s such a shame with it being a high end restaurant. Although I won’t be able to dine here again, for those without food allergies it is great!
Ordered a gluten free charcuterie board off of the gluten free lunch menu for my 8-year-old daughters who both have celiac disease. Checked the menu at the hostess stand before even sitting down, just to make sure it was a celiac friendly restaurant.
The hostess brought it to the table…it was GORGEOUS! We were thrilled that such a beautiful dish was gluten free! My daughters immediately started eating. Several bites later, the server comes up, starts snatching things off of my daughters’ plates, and says “this isn’t the gluten free bread” and starts collecting just the bread…that already touched the cheese and meat. He said “it’s okay, they only took a few bites of the bread”. And I said “it’s actually not okay; they’re severely allergic” and he just walked off in silence…ignoring me. Every time he came to the table after that, he wouldn’t speak or make eye contact. It was so awkward. Literally weirdest experience in a restaurant ever. We boxed up the cheese and meat and brought it home to feed our dog.
$200 bill for what should’ve been a pleasant, happy lunch; and I’m dealing with severe allergic reactions this evening and sick kids. Do not recommend for allergy families or anyone with dietary sensitivities.
I always have a great experience here! Liam took really good care of us. Very attentive without hovering. I got the cremé brulee French toast. It is fantastic! Also this is one of the few places that has great options for gluten free as well as turkey sausage or turkey bacon if you don't eat pork like me.
Delicious coffee. My mom had the chai and it was delicious. I don't like my chai sweet and this one was perfect and had a flavor profile that what's different from any other chive had before. I will be back. They also sell gluten-free breakfast sandwiches and waffles.
Great concept. Poor value. The menu is limited. Dishes are so complex that any food sensitivities will likely send you to another restaurant. They say they'll accommodate allergies etc but when you make a request they "can't do that." They make their own pasta daily but they don't have any gluten free option.
I was able to eat the fish (2.5 oz) and thought the vegs (1/3 cup) served with it, per the menu and waitress would be ok but they arrived including additional ingredients I'm not eating on a fodmap diet. I did taste them and disliked the seasoning, texture, etc. I ate the fish, even though it was somewhat overcooked (since it was the only item I could eat).
The vegs ordered to share were poorly cooked, unappetizing in appearance, and in small bowls (1/2 cup to 3/4c max). All plates are small plates, no matter what they tell you. Very small. If you're hungry go anywhere else.
Everything they tell you about locally grown and sourced food is great but if they don't cook it properly and put a decent portion on your plate for a fair price it doesn't really matter, does it?
So here's the deal: An excellent writer described the overly complicated food. A good photographer took fancy pix. But the reality is mediocre taste and presentation. Their wine is overpriced even by restaurant standards. Service is sort of okay. The space is crowded and noisy. And it's expensive! You'll get MUCH more for your money on Main Street. On second thought, if you're a foodie on a diet, or you just had a lobster roll at Nose Dive, you might love this place.
We went as 3 to kill some time only to have family meet us which made us 9 and then more join us that made us 12. Every time we asked if we could add more ppl they were super accommodating. We have a celiac in our group and when known of the side options sounded good, the manager offered to steam her broccoli which was exactly what she wanted! They have a great beer selection! Ellory was our waitress and she was very attentive and patient.
Lovely restaurant in the park! They have gluten free buns! I got the ham and cheese sandwich with fries, but I didn't know the sauce was not gf, so the sandwich was quite bland. But some others got the grilled cheese type sandwich with tomatoe soup and that looked really good and they said it tasted better. So I would recommend that, especially if you have to use a gluten free bun. The dessert was good! I recommend the chocolate mousse then the Crème brûlée. Would visit again! And the service was amazing.
Fun dinner with friends at the Universal Joint! Nice atmosphere with good drinks and bar food. Somewhat limited gluten free options, but my wife had a lettuce wrap and she was fine with her meal. The chicken fajita quesadilla was excellent. Will definitely go back!
