As a celiac, I was almost glutened here. When I asked a server if the beer was gluten free, I was told everything on the menu was. But when my lager arrived, the bottle listed barley. I double checked with another server, who confirmed it wasn’t gluten free, apologized, and kindly brought me a quinoa-based beer instead (which was good, just a little warm). I don’t want to be too harsh. Overall, the food was great, and it’s such a gift to have a spot where I can enjoy a tres leches cake without fear. But this experience is a good reminder to always double check, even in places that seem safe. It also highlights how important it is for all staff to be fully trained on gluten and allergens.

! Celiac disease friendly ! So many options/substitutions for celiacs. My husband was able to enjoy a breakfast sandwich with home fries... that looked and tasted great! The pricing was fair and affordable which was also a plus. This will be our go to spot when visiting Toronto.

Visiting Toronto from US. This is our first time at a Burger’s Priest and it will definitely not be the last. We are so thoroughly impressed with how delicious the food was here. We thought it was going to be like any other fast food burger joint, but it was definitely better. We ordered burgers, fries, a hotdog, and a milkshake. All delicious. We have a gluten allergy in the family and the gluten-free bread was so much better than any they’ve had.Nina greeted us with a huge smile and was super accommodating

I am embarrassingly obsessed with the sriracha pineapple cauliflower wings here. They’re gluten-free, dairy-free, sweet, spicy, crispy, and served on a bed of crunchy kale. It’s technically an appetizer it’s honestly a full meal lol. The portion is huge and so so good. Whenever I’m hungry and don’t know what I want, my boyfriend knows to just pick these up for me and I’ll be a happy girl. We’re moving out of the city soon, so they shared the recipe for the wings and the sauce with me for when I’m craving it - 10/10 staff. Whether you're plant-based or not, get them.

This was my second time eating here and although the food was delicious giving my celiac wife Tom Yum soup that wasn’t prepared gluten free is unacceptable. We came here back in September because of there large selection of items that can be made gluten free and celiac safe. The server who helped us the first time was very knowledgeable and said they would take extra caution. This time we told the server at least three different times that my wife was celiac and we will order everything gluten free. She still asked about allergies and then assured us everything would be gluten free. A different server or food runner brought the soup and then walked away. Our server brought the mains and said both dishes are gluten free. When we got the bill the two main dishes said **allergy next to it but the soup didn’t. I was hopeful that it was a typo and the soup was gluten free…not 10 minutes later as we got back to the hotel my wife’s celiac flair was in full force and she was out for the night in pain. It’s disappointing that a restaurant with a Michelin star would be this careless

Food is decent. It's great that they have a gluten free eggs benny. Potatoes were definitely undercooked. It is always busy and a zoo to get in - not necessarily worth the wait to get in.

My to-go dinning joint when I wish to eat at Toronto’s BEST vegan and plant based fine dining cuisine at Planta- Toronto Queen Street location. From wait staff to servers and of-course the food- the bestest of ALL. I have soy and gluten allergy and the kitchen took care of my dietary request-with utmost love and care. I recently visited the burger priest and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. The Specially gluten free was amazing and were particularly impressive, making the visit memorable. And they were top of my allergy note. A big shoutout to KOMAL for recommending this spot and burgwr. Hardly restaurant have gluten free burger but i really love the gluten bun and always priest burger is the best burger it truly exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to returning soon!"

Amazing experience here, the food, the drinks, the customer service and attentiveness from the waitstaff is a breath of fresh air! Our server Brie was a complete sweetheart and took outstanding care of us, making sure that my food allergies (celiac disease) were taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! The restaurant offers a gluten-free pizza option, which is great. However, the $7 surcharge for the gluten-free crust feels quite expensive. While I initially liked the dough, it became so hard and chewy as it cooled that it was almost impossible to eat. Unfortunately, the ingredients didn’t seem very flavorful either. We tried two varieties—Pompei and Pesto Chicken—but both lacked taste. Overall, I wouldn’t return.

Had a wonderful experience this weekend with Babs the Bartender! The cocktails she made were impeccable, my absolute favourite was the Watermelon Sling. As someone who is also gluten-free, Babs knows the menu inside and out and recommended the Blackened Chicken Sandwich protein style with the LPE salad. (had not regrets!) With how much Canada has changed since I was young, it's good that a place like The Old Spaghetti Factory survived the nonsense of the last 5 years. I met Beth after her work yesterday to enjoy the day, and we found our way to a Toronto icon. The nostalgia hit in a positive way. This place is like a time capsule: the old world Toronto esthetics, with the 3 course meal (soup/salad, main, ice cream) experience and the warm staff. Beth and I were extremely lucky as our server Mégane was hard working, fast, friendly, and personable. I honestly wish you the best in your desire to pursue acting as a profession. Always a smile and upbeat when in the carousel area you were serving. The other staff were working hard, but Mégane you were aces. The food was great. When chatting, we liked some of the options like there is a "factory size" for a modest upchage to make the portion bigger. There were some selections where you can get a gluten-free version for a reasonable charge for those who desire or need that. Very affordable! Bright, clean, and with plenty of space. The food was delicious. Lots of options on the menu and meals for everyone (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) The employees were respectful and friendly. I will definitely be back!

The service was great the waitress was super nice and related to my gluten allergy. We got the calamari and tiger shrimp and for a main I got the Linguini de Mare and it was all so good but Oh My god the bread. If you come here get the bread. if you have leftover sauce get the bread. I have never had as good bread in my entire life. My gluten allergy could never hold me back from this bread. My stomach hurt so bad after (because of the allergy not the quality of the food; food quality was great) but it was so worth it and I would go back just to get that exact same meal again. Everything was 10/10 but the bread was the best bread I ever had in my entire life

This is one of our favorite restaurants in all of Toronto. Vegan, completely gluten free and every dish we have tried is delicious. Also, Great to just just stop in for quacamole and Margarita's.

Absolutely love eating here, the vibe is amazing and the staff are top tier! The food and atmosphere are so unique and as a Gluten Free Vegan who doesn't drink, trust me when I say this is a haven. I have been a few times so I have tried most of the food. Alot of the menu is already edible for me as is, but the majority of the menu can be accommodated to a vegan and/or gluten free diet which is amazing. The mocktails are equally fantastic. Watching the chefs at work in the open kitchen is the best, and the Management team and Madison in Events are always the most generous and accommodating. If you are so lucky to have service from Joseph, you will leave a very happy and full man! Can't wait to be back in the summer for Jungle Brunch!

A great place to go if you and your friends enjoy sci-fi/fantasy/horror themes. A lot of care and effort has gone into making it a fun place to have drinks and food. The staff and service have always been friendly and accommodating. One of our group is celiac and one is vegan and we have never had an issue.

The food was good and the gluten-free options were great. It was definitely one of the better gluten-free pizzas I’ve had. I liked the amount of pepperoni on my pizza and the spiciness of the pepperoni. We also ordered the amalfi coast spritz cocktail, which was really good. Our waiter was super friendly and very helpful with the allergies in our group. The best part is the view though. I don’t like sitting outside so we sat inside and you still get a full waterfront view. It was honestly so beautiful I wanted to sit there forever. I ordered a cappuccino at the end and that was also surprisingly really good.

Love this place! So many gluten free/vegan/vegetarian options that are actually delicious! The atmosphere is also very cute and the rooftop patio is lovely! Expect to come by when you have some time to relax and enjoy the experience as the food doesn’t always come out super fast but it’s been delicious every time Our server, Imaan was also absolutely lovely!

This place has a fabulous vibe right from the get go! Decor is rustic & eclectic, & there's much to catch your eye....like trees! The menu has pasta (no gf) & pizza (gf/vegan options), accompanied by lots of drink selections. We ordered 1 gluten free pizza, 1 gluten/dairy free pizza, & one regular pizza. I have a load of allergies & the server - Ceci - was very accommodating & knowledgeable about what the kitchen could do for me. We were super impressed! All the pizzas were amazing (like the best gf pizza in the city imho) & my husband polished off the whole regular pizza himself it was so good! We can't say enough about Ceci (& Mark) as they really took good care of us! We highly recommend Bar Poet, especially for the pizza & beer special!! Can't wait to go again! PS - we were able to get a photo with no one in it bc we came in right at open on a mega snowy Monday!

Absolutely loved the brunch here, including the space, the food, and the friendly service. The menu strikes a great balance between sweet and savory, with lighter options like crêpes and heartier ones like waffles (including a gluten-free choice). I had the Spinach and Feta crêpe, which was delicious. The touch of sumac added a zesty, flavorful kick. The hash browns were small, crispy on the outside, and soft inside. The patio is tiny but feels private and peaceful. So happy to have discovered this gem in the Beach neighborhood!

My observation during last two times that I’ve been here is that management doesn’t care about cleanness of this place, tables are sticky, leftovers of food are everywhere, toilet is awful! First time I really liked the gluten free crust and vegan cheese unfortunately 2nd time my order was mistakenly made with normal crust that gave me stomachache. I won’t go to this branch again.

Had a work night dinner with some out of country guests and oh my goodness did this restaurant went above and beyond. Attentive service, fully could accommodate the menu for each dietary allergy (dairy and gluten), and had an amazing variety of options from land sea and farm. A bit of a spend but it was worth it for a lovely night out, and the ambiance was divine.
