Great brunch place! Wife has Celiac and they are thoughtful and knowledgeable which was amazing! I had the hangover which was a great choice and definitely have the biscuit which is nice and fluffy and tastes so good! The French toast was amazing as well! So glad this was recommended for gluten free and not reactions!
We had a girls trip and spontaneously came here for dinner. Definitely worth it; we had delicious street tacos and Shanna was the most wonderful waitress. She was super knowledgeable on dietary restrictions (one of us was gluten-free) and was just lovely. Definitely recommend coming here, you get your money‘s worth!
We were traveling to Savannah and I looked up for several places that would have good reviews . First , The Collin’s quarter was the only one of them answering my questions on their IG(my son has gluten intolerance and we were traveling with the dog). They could sit us outside with the dog and had options for my son👌🏻 I booked a table with them for dinner.
We ate at couple of places with good reviews prior to dinner at Collin’s quarter and it was a huge disappointment. But when we came for our dinner it was simply amazing! The staff, the dishes, the service-all impeccable! They loved our dog and she got lots of attention🌺 the server told us about their breakfast and “best coffee in town” and it would have been a mistake not to come and try their breakfast. So we came back the next day and it was delicious ! Highly recommend!
Nice place on the Savannah River for a good southern meal. We enjoyed all our food but the highlights were the Spicy fried shrimp, the fried chicken and the chocolate mousse cake. Our server was amazing and we really appreciated that the restaurant offered plenty of gluten free options for my daughter.
Love mellow mushroom every time I'm there I get a photo with their character each store has a different one. Mission to get as many photos with their different characters as I can. My girlfriend has food allergy to gluten they fix gluten pizza there so we frequent mellow mushroom whenever we're in a town that has them. Always a great atmosphere service and food.
D*mn good burgers and employees with great attitude. Accommodating for gluten free and vegetarian/vegan diets. Also, best fries in town.
I especially love that this place is farm to table. The owner puts a lot of passion into this food. It’s the best burger you can buy (the best burger you can have period is my dad’s, but again, this one’s the best you can buy). I love sitting at the bar and chatting with the staff. They seem like a tight knit family.
They also have a great selection of beer, cider, alcoholic seltzers, and THC beverages.
Get the whole farm!
we came for the gluten free key lime pie, which was delicious, and the opportunity for a little patio dining at the end of a long day of touring Savannah, also delightful. but a special shout out goes to our server, Katie, who, from the word "hello," was a top-notch host and guide to our brief experience there. thank you Katie. we'll definitely have an italian job cocktail in your honor the next time we're in town.
I'm gluten free not always easy to find a good place to eat.But found Kayak Kafe' had a turkey avocado sandwich that was amazing! A small salad with cilantro lime dressing freshly made in house was one of the best dressings I have ever had. My husband had a cucumber lemonade that was delicious! Would visit again if ever I'm in town.
The service was great. The line was admittedly very long because the place is super popular. It’s one of those “don’t miss” tourist things. So, when in Rome… they had people bringing water to those of us waiting in 100 degree heat. We waited and had our choices picked out. I was happily surprised they had vegan ice cream. It’s not sorbet or sherbet, it’s actual ice cream, and they can make all kinds of treats with it. They clearly mark their menu for allergens, too, including gluten, nuts, and whether an item can be made vegan. I have multiple allergies so this is very much appreciated. They also offered to scoop out of the back where there was less cross contamination when an allergy was involved, so, again much appreciated.
The reason I didn’t rate 5 stars… the ice cream wasn’t knock your socks off ice cream. It’s good, but to stand in line for 30 minutes and all the jazz, the experience didn’t match the hype to me. If you’re looking for ice cream on a hot day, this would be the best option. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it though.
Eli was our wait person, attentive, knowledgeable. The food was scintillating. I am celiac and I had fries and the deconstructed reuben. My first bite was full of flavor!!! So delicious.
PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF TO WRITE GLUTEN FREE ON THE GLUTEN FREE FOOD WHEN THERE ARE MULTIPLE SANDWICHES IN AN ORDER. Just had to throw out my sandwich because I am 98% sure you switched the breads on the sandwiches. It’s just a waste of money for me at this point and it would take your staff 15 seconds to do.
I have celiac disease and the first person who seated us dismissed the restaurant’s ability to serve me. Then Hayden saved the day and assured me they could make the food safe (with no cross contamination) - even checking ingredients. Thanks, Hayden!
Gluten free pizza was so good. Crispy, thin crust...however I always get a garlic butter base. Shaved Ribeye, banana peppers and extra chz tasted alot like italian beef sandwhich. Not sure how it would be otherwise. My kiddo got a Hawiian regular, we took left overs and finished it off at the drive in in Jesup 2nd feature.
They did have some sandwhich and wings for GF.
Its isnt celiac safe. They dont have dedicated fryers and such.
I would go back.
Wowowooww. They have gluten free break and can make almost anything GF on the menu! I got their seasonal French toast and the bread was sooooo good. Will def come back here again when in Savannah
A cool spot, bandanas adorn the ceiling & are wrapped around your food box - which unfolds to a plate. Great menu; they change monthly, something for everyone, meat free/gluten free/clean oil for frying; no peanut/soy - I was thrilled to get my onion rings w a great burger! My friend had wings -didn't need any sauce. Super nice owners and staff, really fun find! 😊
Great bbq and very friendly service. Lots of gluten free options including fries, buns, and fried chicken which are almost impossible to find most places.
AMAZING! My husband and I stopped here after a long drive to Florida, and we were looking for something healthy and GLUTEN FREE, this place has the correct menu and the most incredible flavors!!! I highly recommend it👏👏👏👏👏
One of the best meals of my life. We did the chef’s tasting menu and everything was exquisite. We also did it gluten-free and everything was perfect - no drop off whatsoever. See the menu for what it included. Had a Negroni and mint spritz drink (both great). For dessert, they served a coconut sorbet with strawberry granita (this was the GF substitute for the blueberry cobbler). It was remarkable.
Our server was super friendly and helpful and all of the staff we interacted with were olive and professional. The restaurant itself is in an old house and it is unique and beautiful.
Great place to get a burger. They have delicious bison burgers and customizable toppings and sauces, including a fried egg. They also have alligator sliders. Their gluten free bun was actually tasty too. Service was nice and the atmosphere was very comfortable. They had a huge projector screen with football outside.
This was such a great little find. Extremely friendly and helpful staff - my wife asked about gluten free options and nothing was too much trouble. I had the wedge salad and it was drowning in blue cheese - in a good way! Would highly recommend.
Amazing pancakes. The attention to details on the plate presentation is great. Each order came with a little pot of gourmet syrup. The servers and host staff were amazing. Even though it was a busy Mother's Day, they stayed calm and professional. They have gluten free pancakes and waffles. My only regret was not getting pictures to post with my review.
I really love the atmosphere. It looked out over the river. The interior was very rustic but classy. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and how things could be made gluten free. Staff was friendly, interactive and the environment was clean and very inviting. We went for lunch but there was a piano so I am sure that they have live music in the evening or on special occasions.
Hands down my favorite Thai place in Savannah! Best curry around -- my favorite is the green curry with tofu. I bring friends and family here when they visit from out of town and we've never been disappointed! We always opt to eat outside, but they have indoor dining as well. My brother and I have celiac and have never had a reaction here. Highly recommend!!
GREAT spot for a relaxed date night or just to hang out with friends! The shrimp and grits were a 10/10, and they have a ton of gluten free options, as well as really great drinks. Louis in particular made our night amazing, 11/10 waiter! We will be returning :)
If I could give 10 stars, I would! We had our wedding at Cha Bella, and Candice (the owner) and her team really knocked it out of the park for us! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the food is top quality; you can really taste the difference. Candice, the owner, is such a gifted chef - when we did our tasting, my partner and I both said to each other it was one of the best meals of our lives, so we knew food would not disappoint on our wedding day. Sure enough, everyone was raving about the food and about the service, which was impeccable. We provided decorations and asked them to decorate, and they did such an amazing job making the venue look even more beautiful than it already is! Candice was kind and accommodating throughout the process of planning everything and even allowed us to have a piñata at the event, which was a huge hit (no pun intended). The event ran super smoothly, and everyone enjoyed themselves and kept complimenting us on everything - from the amazing food, to the venue, to all the details and decorations, to the amazing service. I cannot eat gluten and had several people at our wedding who also cannot, and Candice was super flexible, making everything for us completely gluten free, which was such a treat for me and my fellow celiacs/gluten intolerants. We asked her to do a dessert bar and to reduce the sugar on desserts since we like things less sweet, and she was totally flexible on that, too, and did such an amazing job! Everyone was raving about the dessert as well. We ordered some extra food to make sure people could have seconds, and we ended up with some leftovers, which Candice kindly let us take home (I know not all venues allow this). Thanks so much to Candice, the amazing event coordinators Selene and and Elise, and the whole team for throwing us such a dreamy wedding. It was the best evening, and folks kept on raving about how they wished they could go back in time and have their own weddings at Cha Bella! We don't live in Savannah but visit from time to time, and, needless to say, we'll be back to eat at Cha Bella often because we think it is the best restaurant in Savannah (and in GA, actually!). Thanks so much for making our special day stress free and beautiful. Candice and co. are the absolute best! I highly recommend Cha Bella for dinner or events - you won't regret choosing them!
Went here because of the gluten free bun and turkey/ impossible meat option. It was a good burger and fries. The actual building is a little on the grittier side, but overall the food was solid.
Had such an amazing experience. My server was super accommodating and understand to my intolerance to gluten. The shrimp and grits is a MUST HAVE. Def avoid if you can’t have dairy, but it was incredible. The market fish is what I had for an entree and it was gluten free as it comes. No dessert but she was willing to make something that I would’ve been able to eat. Would absolutely be back!
I’ve eaten here a few times, growing up in Wisconsin it’s been fun to discover a Culver’s nearby. During the blackout with Hurricane Helene this place was packed & they did an incredible job with all the craziness & frustrated hungry people. I’ve recently become obsessed with their pumpkin spice shake—there’s actually pumpkin!—pure fall in the south bliss. The cashiers and servers are always friendly & the food is freshly made. It feels indulgent, but I don’t feel gross after eating here. I like to sit outside on sunny days. Also, they have gluten free buns which I thoroughly appreciate!
Came for the gluten free build your own pasta dish. While waiting for our food, the waiter brought over bread/dipping sauce to the table and also brought me GF seasoned crackers with roasted pepper salsa! How nice it was to not feel left out while others enjoyed the table bread! The menu lists GF penne available, however the staff mentioned the GF pasta sometimes rotates so I’m not familiar with the term for this pasta. I ordered GF pasta with carreterra sauce and added grilled chicken. Flavors were delicious however the GF pasta was well undercooked and still had a crunch to it. My friend enjoyed the lasagna and the unique flavors in the sauce. Good sized portions here, you won’t leave hungry!
Great coffee and with gluten free baked goods. I got the lemon raspberry bunt cake but they also had a cheesecake option. Had salads too which would have worked.
I am a celiac. I walked in knowing how to pick apart the menu to feed myself. Started asking questions and realized quickly this was not a safe place for me to eat. While this normally would be someone giving a negative review, I want to give a positive. Our server quickly prevented me from getting seriously ill. That’s integrity that never gets noticed. Excellent drink choice, finding my favorite original sin cider being served. Tried a sip of my partners mix drink and loved it. Wish I could’ve ate food but thank you for not making me ill. High praise.

The atmosphere is a nice experience. Every staff member was super welcoming and happy to help. The biscuits and whipped potatoes were very good, but a friend and I shared 2 entrees: a shrimp & scallop pasta and a salmon dish. Neither of us finished the shrimp because it was overcooked. Our expectations were high because of the restaurant's reputation, but the main courses did not live up to that at all.
I should've said something at the time because our server tried hard to help, but I didn't want to be difficult. Another friend at the table had said she is gluten-free and still was served a sauce with her steak that had gluten. The server was very apologetic, but it was surprising that there was no alternative other than "we weren't supposed to bring out the sauce."
