It was a place we used to go to a lot, but their attention has decreased due to having inexperienced people and the food is very weak, also something is missing...

Great cheap eats on the Main Street. Lots of gluten free options. My celiac son was thrilled with the delicious pizzas and French fries. The bocadillos were great too. Nothing fancy, just good food at a decent price. We liked it so much we went twice even though we were only in Cangas Del Narcea for about 36 hours. The staff were so great with my terrible Spanish- very patient and helpful. Also the house wine was good and not much more than a euro a glass. If we lived nearby we’d be regulars. We went to celebrate 5 friends' birthdays on Friday for dinner. What a great discovery. The kitchen of scandal (that is, when you have been thinking for 15 years that you don't like artichokes and you leave there thinking that you want to eat them cooked like this 3 days a week). Of the dishes we have tried, the scallops would be at the top, followed by the baos, the artichokes, the salad and the bravas if I had to put them in order. The desserts.... Ayyy the desserts... The torrija was one of the best I've ever tried, that combination with the tangerine. But, I couldn't close this review without talking about the attention they have given us. A close treatment, advising us perfectly. I will definitely return. PS: everything was gluten-free except for the baos, and for dessert the cheesecake was also gluten-free.

We booked a brunch for three people. 48 hours in advance, they "forced" us to decide what we wanted (we had to choose the toast and yogurt we'd be craving two days later). I'm celiac, so my brunch was gluten-free, for €4 more. Considering I pay more, I think I should have at least the same options, but I couldn't eat the pancakes offered at brunch; instead, I could choose two pastries from the ones on display (gluten-free, of course, a much more limited selection). The final straw was that my friends had a regular brunch, but since we ordered gluten-free toast for the three of us to share, they charged a total of €12 extra. In other words, they also charged them a gluten-free brunch just for ordering two slices of Bimbo bread (at €4 a slice, it's already worth it). The rest of their brunch was a regular one with gluten. I think the fact that a restaurant offers gluten-friendly service (which I appreciate) isn't just about having gluten-free options. I think if you offer it, you should be treated the same as everyone else. It's discriminatory enough that you have to pay more for having a gluten-free diet, but if you don't have the same choices, it seems like the last straw. And charging €8 more for ordering something to share is outrageous.

Very good food and very attentive staff. A place with almost the entire menu suitable for celiacs and a very attentive staff who advises you so that you can enjoy Venezuelan cuisine without having to worry about gluten. We will return.

Very rude girl serving. No Soy Milk, Peanut Butter, or Gluten Free bread despite being on the menu and what attracted us to the cafe. Very bad attitude from the girl with the messy bun. Unhelpful and slow to take our order. When we asked about dietary substitutions the waitress just repated “No”. Then waited far too long for food or even drinks. People were served their drinks before us despite arriving after us. Not welcoming to English speakers. Very disappointed.

The food was very delicious, the only thing is that they didn't have gluten-free bread or anything especially gluten-free, they only put allergens on the menu. We ate cheese and sirloin and rice pudding and it was all very delicious, all homemade and at an affordable price. Great quality/price ratio

We went on a Sunday for lunch with 2 small children. The children's area is great, very complete with areas separated by ages. Also an outdoor area with dinosaurs that is painted, a disco, a children's cinema... impressive. We ate in the dining room, and in general the food was very good, and we highlight the wide gluten-free offering. Many desserts that they allowed us to have next to the coffee in the children's area. The offering for children in the dining room was also very extensive. Overall a very good experience, we will definitely return.

The best restaurant in the port. Everything fresh, freshly caught that same day. Incredibly good food, good price and one of the best service I have ever known. Attentive, kind and very close. Also with the gluten issue, they were very attentive and explained each dish so that we were calm. We spent three days in Luarca and ate there all three days. Simply perfect.

Great atmosphere, very friendly, and excellent food. They warned us we were ordering too much (which, thankfully, is very common in Asturias). They were even attentive to the appetizers so a celiac could enjoy them. Very, very reasonable prices. I highly recommend the rice with mushrooms and meat. We'll be back.

The truth is, I was disappointed. I'm celiac, and I was excited to eat here again. But to my surprise, the only gluten-friendly appetizer is nachos, but WITHOUT CHEESE. I have to say the burger was delicious (they adapted by removing ingredients and using gluten-free bread), but I can't understand why, at this point, they serve it with nachos instead of fries because they don't have clean oil in the fryer.

Brutal. They made the cachopo gluten-free for us. The normal scallops but 12 units for €20 which is a very good price. The steamed mussels are the best I have ever had in my life.

I am celiac, and I went on Friday since they offer some gluten-free option. After waiting 25 minutes on the clock for them to serve us, they told me that they don't have anything gluten-free, that they had run out of almost everything, leaving two options (the most basic on the menu) to choose from. Celiacs, ask as soon as you arrive just in case... I don't understand how on a Friday they run out of their gluten-free options

Beautiful rural enclave. Very good quality of local product. Exquisite croquettes and delicious steak. Cheesecake, a "must". Reservation recommended. It is essential to do it on weekends, holidays and summer. Almost the entire menu, gluten-free.

GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS 5 stars fall short :) They adapt gluten-free sandwiches to you and only for €0.20 more. They are also super abundant for €3-4. Super friendly staff, they bring a complimentary tapa and they had the detail of giving my daughter some worms. If we return to Avilés we will repeat without a doubt.
