Our waitress—whose name I regretfully forgot, and it’s not on my receipt—was phenomenal. I told her I was torn between a few choices, and she confidently recommended the Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich (GF). Honestly? One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in over 12 years. Crispy, flavorful, and totally worth the hype. 🌱 They accommodate a ton of dietary restrictions. 🍽️ Portion sizes? Generous. 🌿 Food? Incredibly fresh and delicious. 🏡 Location? Adorable. 🚗 Parking? Everything was wonderful. They were able to work with our food allergies without issue. They accommodated gluten free, nut free, and even a garlic free guest! Room is beautiful, staff was on top of everything, would definitely recommend.

So I have autoimmune disease called Celiac Disease and that means gluten and me do not get along at all. This place has great gluten free reviews and was super excited coming here. Well now I am about ready to lose my mind. I asked my usual questions concerning gluten free items and preparations for their food/drinks. I ordered a CIDER and got served a BEER without hesitation. This is actually absurd. When somebody asks you about gluten free items and safety precautions and then immediately within 2 minutes get served a gluten containing item, it’s just actually ridiculous. The server was apologetic and kind but not knowing the difference between beer and cider is disheartening.

Food was good. We got their beignets and some breakfast stacker crepes. My Celiac wife forgot to tell them that she was gluten free so they had to remake the dish for her. They were very nice about it. Only reason for lack of star was server wasn’t very attentive and forgot silverware

Hands down my favorite place for gluten free pizza! They are very accommodating to gluten free customers. Not only do they have gluten free pizza crust but they also have vegan cheese 😍 They have specific pizzas that can be prepared certified gluten free as shown on the menu. Some ingredients vary by location so be sure to double check. Sometimes I venture out and build my own pizza but I always verify which ingredients are safe. They also have individually wrapped gluten free brownies for dessert!

There aren't enough words to say how fantastic this local grocery store is! Not only do they do their best to source locally, but they have a ton of Gluten Free and Plant-Based Vegan options to choose from. They have a juice bar in the back, as well as a decent dog section. The brands that they carry for pet food is top notch. And they carry local Fox Farms & Forage mushrooms to boot. I got lucky enough to end up being one of the owners and she is highly knowledgeable and friendly. All of the staff that I ran across in the store were the same. When it comes to grocery shopping, this is definitely going to be one of my regular go-to's, even though it's not as close to me. If you haven't checked this place out yet, you are definitely missing out!

Wanted to love it but…we both got sick My husband ordered the lasagna. It was mushy and covered in sauce, when my husband scraped off the sauce topping it revealed a black top layer that was disgusting and left us both feeling queasy and wondering just how long that lasagna had been in the walk-in. If you are celiac, I wouldn’t trust the gf pasta here. I had a reaction after dining here last night that left me wondering if the gf pasta was boiled in cross contaminated water 🤷🏻‍♀️ The noodles were over cooked and not that great even before my belly swole to the size of an 8 month pregnancy. In retrospect, this is a kitchen nightmare and we wouldn’t have been surprised if Gordon Ramsay popped out around the corner while we were dining there. That being said the front of the house was nice and handled our complaint professionally.

Very good burgers, with gluten free options both for buns and for sides. The medium rare beef burger just melts in your mouth, and the gluten free chicken tenders and tater tots are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The wait is also quick, we've been here twice and got our food within 10 minutes. We ate our food before I could remember to take photos, so here's the clean plate club. They also have a rewards club that offers free burgers and such, if you like app/rewards clubs.

We had reservations so we were seated quickly. We each had a drink which was wonderful. Our server was kind, but we were given takeout boxes for our entrees and the check upon receiving our food without time to enjoy our meal. The gluten free options are limited, and the pasta was a bit of a let down.

Yikes. Don’t even know where to start. Long story short - don’t come here. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and after that we walked out. Never typically leave reviews for restaurants but this was an exception because it was so bad. I mean the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We kept getting different excuses from the waiter and the manager. At one point it was that “gluten free pizza takes longer” (which has never been a hold up in the past at Mellow), another time it was “the kitchen made your orders wrong,” and the third time it was “the kitchen lost your ticket and your order hasn’t been made.” After over an hour and a half of waiting and the server asking us our order again and getting the order wrong on the ticket, we decided to leave. Manager and waiter never seemed to care that we had been waiting over an hour and a half, there was no sympathy or apologies, and they were rude. Exceptionally bad customer service. Other tables were waiting for their food and the food pick up section had a large amount of people waiting a long time too. So don’t count on pick up being timely either. Understand delays can happen because of staff shortage and busy hours, but the restaurant was half empty and tons of servers standing around. None of our group will be coming back. Highly recommend you don’t go here or if you really want Mellow Mushroom to visit the Cary or Durham location.

I’m a vegetarian, and the main menu has almost no meat-free dishes—but Winston’s actually is vegetarian friendly as long as you say something to the waiter. They have a complete alternative menu available: the front lists vegetarian and vegan dishes, and the back has gluten-free dishes. I can’t speak to the gluten-free options, but the vegan and vegetarian choices are excellent!

This was my first visit to Bad Daddy's. I have Celiac disease, so gluten free options are extremely important to me, and it's a real treat for me to have a proper burger-in-a-bun rather than a lettuce wrap, even if it is a GF bun (they tend to fall apart without gluten to hold them together; no fault of the restaurant). My burger was delicious; I'll definitely come back when I need a burger fix. However, my review is mixed because I found the ambience lacking - the music was loud and of what I considered to be an obnoxious selection (personal taste, I know, but hey, it's my review). Also my menu was dirty, which was a real turn-off. A few customer-focused tweaks and it could be a five-star experience for me, but currently it's not.

It saddens me to write a negative review. My husband and I order all the time. How are the past two times there’s been issues. I have a gluten allergy, therefore always have to order the gluten-free pizzette. It’s one of my favorites in Raleigh! The past two times it’s come on the normal pita. The store was very kind on fixing the issue the first time. However, tonight I called and everything else came fine and normal except for mine. I called back and explained the situation and thanked them that we at least had the gluten-free pita. I spoke to a very sweet woman who then transferred me to this man. I am only assuming he Is the manager And if he is, I’m so sorry. All he kept saying was it was not his fault it was DoorDash’s fault and that I was being rude. I was crying. I just had surgery and my emotions are everywhere but the one thing I wanted was my gluten-free fig mint pizzette and this guy was just telling me I was being rude and hurting his feelings. I don’t know when crying and getting upset was being rude. If it is, I apologize. However, I will think twice before ordering or going to Sassool

I have celiacs and was worried I wouldn’t have much to choose from, but was so wrong! The service was some of the best I’ve ever received, celiacs or non. They truly bend over backwards to make sure you have a great experience and don’t feel like you have a limited menu. Our waitress literally created a roll for me based off what fish I preferred, 1,000/10. Plus it was DELICIOUS Thank you again Macee and Nicole! We had this time The trio of all 3 spreads- comes with alot of pita slices (can get gluten free) which is great. Dinner : Chicken Mykonos (comes with pasta but substituted for rice) was delicious Also have had the Souvlaki Platters. Gluten free: Can substitue the pasta for rice. So if that's your thing you can make it work with many dishes. Price: for the quality it's worth it. More authentic and better ingredients Exactly what you would expect from a better experience.

The food at Happy & Hale is not only healthy and meets my dietary needs but it's also SO DELICIOUS! My favorite is their vegan, gluten-free strawberry cupcake—it tastes like there's real jam mixed into the frosting. You can really taste the strawberry throughout, and it's just the right balance of sweetness. Buttermilk biscuits and linzer tart cookies. Buttermilk biscuits delicious. Linzer tart cookies in the shape of stars (4th of July), red white & blueberry. Blueberry jam/preserves held together 2 cookies. So light and divine. The cookies reminded me a little bit of Italian wedding cookies. Meg’s baking is so good and delicious, and everything she makes is beautiful. Although only 1 person in our family has a gluten sensitivity, nobody feels like they’re giving up anything when I order from Meg. Pumpkin cheesecake for Thanksgiving (2 families ate - huge hit). Strawberry cakes - so gorgeous.

After several hours at the Marbles museum, the five of us (three adults and two kids) stopped for lunch at Lime and Lemon. The servers were very attentive to all of us and helped us find dairy free items. We had Tofu Vindaloo, Madras Chicken Curry, and two chicken weekday lunch combos. Everything was delicious with the five year old saying the chicken 65 was "like amazing!". We sat at a half booth/half table where everyone was able to sit comfortably. You could have a celebratory meal, a date, or just drop by for lunch or dinner. The website menu allows you to filter by dietary restrictions, including dairy free, nut free, soy free, gluten free. The bathrooms are two gender neutral single stalls. Parking in front of the restaurant is for Zaxbys, so be sure to get street parking or park in a garage. We will be back!

Love Brixx. Since my discovery in 2023, I've been 6 times when I've been around the Raleigh area. I have Celiac, and they have 2 types or GF crust. I have not had a problem. The servers are well educated and helpful in ordering. The price is a lot for the size, and until there is a big shake up in the restaurant industry, as a gluten-free diner, we know we pay extra to stay safe. The wings go well with the pizza, too.
