This location was really clean when we visited and not overly crowded, so we were able to sit and enjoy our dinner without too much noise or distractions. We love coming to MOOYAH because it’s simple for my partner to have gluten-free options with nearly everything on the menu here. I've only been to the ones down south. I was really surprized to find them coming around Ct. There food tastes clean ! The place, including bathroom, is clean. They walk by tables to see if you need anything. They make you feel like you simply belong. The chicken is really fresh and it "really" is juicy ! The commercials speak outright truth in advertising their company. The only thing that is a problem is the drive through section. It interferes with the parking space. People can't get out until the dive through line has gone down. It's a strong inconvenience. Also can be dangerous. It's so easy for cars to hit eachother by mistake. *** OH WOW.. was just reading down the list of foods I liked and they have written : Gluten free buns. 🤓 Now I can enjoy a glutten free byn chicken sandwich !!! 😋 I cant wait to go back !

What a fun place. Reminiscent of Reading Terminal Market with an assortment of restaurant stalls. Large picnic style tables run down the middle. Fun music playing on the speakers. Had a fantastic meal at Flor Do Mar, delicious Brazilian food 100% gluten free. Loved it!

700 degrees is great!! Everyone here is so friendly and as someone who has celiac disease, having a gluten allergy makes it hard to eat out, although here, they were very knowledgeable and caring about my allergy!! I went here for the first time this summer and since then I have frequented this place every week or sometimes 2 times per week. Having a gluten allergy its often hard to find places that have good food and multiple options. The food is great, the owners are present and the sevice awesome. Highly recommend.

I heard that they are celiac-friendly and wanted a quick bite on the go. This was the first time I'd gone since my diagnosis, so I went in because I was nervous about making sure it was safe for me to have it. The person who took my order had limited knowledge, but luckily it was not very busy, and the manager took the opportunity to explain to both of us the process. Not only they have a few gf items marked on the menu, but if you tell them you have an allergy, they make sure to alert the staff, so they clean the area, utensils and change gloves before preparing the meal. They have a separate fryer for the fries, too! The grilled chicken sandwich was appetizing and gluten-free.

I'd say 90% of the time the experience is exceptional. Everyone there is highly charismatic, personable and enjoyable to talk to. service is always done pretty quickly. It seems like this location really has their stuff together. And if you have allergies this place also takes allergies very seriously I have Celia disease which means I'm gluten and tolerantAnd they take care of me usually they've made mistakes there's been issues it hasn't been a 100% perfect but I'd say it's about 90% Of the time that I have a great experience.

The food was lovely! I will definitely go again as I even prefer their burrito to Chipolte which happens to be right across the street. Although it seemed like one of those places where the staff are always scowling or in a bad mood. I understand that they are doing a lot of work and perhaps for minimum wage, but when the staff of a restaurant act like they don't want to be there it simply makes visitors feel unwelcome and nervous. The restaurant was clean and food was made properly as ordered even when someone in my party had to ask for an accommodation to a gluten allergy.

The people here are very good about knowing what's gluten friendly on their menu and what isn't. The only thing they will guarantee as gluten free is the burger without bun. However, I've eaten the shakes and fries many times and only gotten ill once, so you may do ok if you're only gluten intolerant rather than celiac. *update* They now have a gluten free bun, but I wouldn't bother with it. It costs more and quickly disintegrates into mush due to how greasy the burger patties are.

Four of us had a great lunch today. We were served by Taylor who was friendly and knowledgeable. One in our party needs to be gluten-free and Taylor was very helpful in letting her know what specific items could be made gluten-free. I had a turkey burger and I don’t order it restaurants because it’s usually dry and tasteless. But the turkey burger was seasoned, moist and delicious. Three of us had the eggplant fries which were a real treat. We will return soon.

We live in Jersey and my daughter plays field hockey for a RI university and when it’s my turn to bring post game food I it has to be JERSEY Mikes. 33 subs made to perfection, no complaints and the team was so happy. Always reliable and consistent, hot, fresh burgers and fries. This one is in the Home Depot plaza and has an easy parking lot. The place is clean and bright, and the bar height tables and chairs by the windows get tons of late day sunshine. Great, cheerful staff, and, as usual, no problem for me with ordering gluten free (lettuce wrap). I have celiac disease, so for me and my guy to both be able to order with no issues is always great. Just tell them you have an allergy when ordering, and that's their cue to change gloves and handle separately. The fries are the only thing that goes in the fryer so it's a rare place where I can eat the fries, and they are just the best steak fries on the planet. The leftovers also reheat really well in the air fryer or toaster oven. No, the food isn't cheap, but it's totally worth it and we always leave happy, full, and with a bag of fries to take home and enjoy later.

This location is really doing it’s level best even when supply chain and staffing issues take a toll, they remain cheerful and accommodating.

This review is of the Derby, CT location for all the celiacs out there who need gluten free/allergy safety protocols. I went around 1:30PM on Sunday, Nov 24, 2024. As a chain, I experience Jersey Mike's to be be a little hit or miss in terms of precautions. Today I stopped at the one in Derby for the first time and really appreciated how thoroughly and attentively the staff person helping me followed the safety protocol and even politely called out/redirected other staff who were making a to-go order and started doing things that could expose my food to gluten. Obviously it may not have gone as well had one of those other less attentive staff members helped me, but this woman seemed like she might have been in a leadership role, so I feel confident going back. I made sure to be the last in line and not to go during a rush, but I was impressed at the time she took to get it right. Even my teen took notice and said, "I can see why you come here, mom." As a vegetarian who loads my subs with veggies, the riskiest thing about Jersey Mike's for me is that most of the stores keep most of their veggies in a shared prep area where people put veggies on gluten-filled as well as gluten-free sandwiches. This is the case in the Derby shop too, but I noticed that the staff person helping me specifically did not pull my veggies from the top, but chose to go in more untouched areas of the bins and under the top layer. I really, really appreciated that. Jersey Mike's uses Udi's sub rolls for gluten free subs. I am holding out hope that a better gluten free sub roll eventually will be available. The Udi's rolls can be on the dry side (I just use more sauces to counterbalance it), but subs are one of the things I miss most from before having celiac, so it hits the spot. Plus I love having a "fast food" I can actually eat, and it is both tasty and a healthier fast food option. I find myself going to Jersey Mike's more and more. It is pricier than I might like, I am guessing because the Udi's is not cheap, but as we celiacs know, it is worth it to have things we can eat out.

Went here for the first time on a Monday afternoon. Was able to get a bacon cheese burger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, grilled onions, jalapeños and BBQ sauce on my burger! They also have chicken sandwiches and nuggets and hot dogs and chili dogs! Over all not a bad price for everything I got which came out to about 20$. The burger was a double patty and they can make it into a salad and they have a veggie option for the patty and gluten free buns as well!

Jersey Mike's has great gluten free bread. The only place I have found in Branford that takes great care in making your sandwich. The sandwiches are delicious and the employees are pleasant, courteous and professional. Also easy in, easy out.

My daughter’s hockey team was in town and was in need of good warm food for the bus. I contacted Sabrina at Nonna’s and she helped me with 19 chick parm grinders and 5 gluten free dishes. The ladies who dropped off the food were wonderful and accommodating. According to the team the food was so so good and 🔥! Great experience all around! Thank you!
