We visited during our vacation and had an incredible experience. Our server, Ellie, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and ensured that my daughter, who has Celiac, had all the items clearly marked as gluten-free. They use separate fryers and cooktops, and even offer gluten-free buns and wings! The food was so delicious that we decided to come back the very next day!
A cozy spot with a charming vibe, offering expertly crafted dishes, creative drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back.

I’ve accepted that I’ll never be a judge on Master Chef, in return I’d accepted that I’d never have an experience where you bite into a dish and get to be absolutely astounded by all the flavors and profiles that come along with it… until I ate at Colita! We had the Pate and it was nothing short of remarkable! The staff was top tier, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere is intimate and inviting! I’m completely gluten free and could order anything on the menu! We had the best time! Thank you for hosting us and giving us an exceptional experience start to finish! 💕
Get ready for a unique fusion of flavors in a cozy setting, with a diverse menu that keeps diners excited for more every visit.

Food is always great and service is fantastic. We had vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free people in our group and the waitress knew all of the dishes and ingredients and was able to create plates that worked for everyone.

Chimborazo continues to be one of my favorite go to restaurants in the cities! Their food is delicious, with unique flavors and just phenomenal Ecuadorian cuisine. I dream about the mahi mahi encocado and ceviche 🤤
I especially appreciate that they have so many options for someone who is gluten free and lots of good pescatarian options too!
Their service is always fast and they’re always incredibly kind!
Highly recommend.

Amazing! Yes the food is unique but that’s what makes this place so special. I always find it fascinating when people go to a place that actively advertises as no refined sugars or processed foods and then complain that it doesn’t taste like the rest of the junk they eat. There were many vegetarian options and as a person with celiac disease this place was perfect. I ate so much but felt good after since nothing was processed or junk. My only suggestion is that if you can’t go in with an open mind maybe just don’t go.
This place is great! Consistently delivers good service and food. Location and views are also amazing! Highly recommend the main street burger and fries. My favorite fries in the city (ask for a side of ranch). The Caesar is surprisingly good, and all the pizzas have been awesome! The gluten free nuggets are also a great choice. Aster may grab all the attention on St Anthony Main, but I think Hideaway is the real gem.
This spot offers a vibrant atmosphere with a dedicated team that personalizes your experience, making it perfect for special occasions and families.

Best breakfast I’ve EVER had. I got the Scromble of The Day. Tomatoes and Chimichurri *chefs kiss* I’m gluten free and the GF English muffins were great.. I got TWO with my breakfast. My dad got the breakfast burrito and he loved it! Super cool spot to check out in downtown Minneapolis.
With a funky vibe and creative cocktails, this local gem offers a fun atmosphere and quick service that keeps everyone coming back for more.

Amazing! I can believe today was the first time I heard of this restaurant! The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. I have a dairy allergy (whole restaurant is vegan) and gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate me! (They do note that they can't guarantee no cross contamination, but they do have a separate fryer!). I was SUPER excited to see they have vegan milk shakes! They are AMAZING! So glad to have another great space I trust for my allergies. The atmosphere was super fun and cozy! I really liked that if I wanted to be antisocial that I can order through a QR code (which was VERY informative about gluten allergies!) You also have the option to order with the staff as well! They were always buzzing around so if you need assistance they are there. The food came out insanely fast and it was pretty busy at the time I was there.
They are a tip free restaurant, they price their food so that they can pay their staff livable wages (which they dont advertise as much as I think they should!) Definitely worth the price!
Can't express how excited I am about this restaurant from the food to their story AND paying their staff well - I love it!
Side note: for anyone scared of vegan food or are worried about trying it - this is the place to do it! (My boyfriend wanted me to add - as someone who doesn't have allergies or have any experience with vegan meats - he loved it and said he could hardly tell the difference)
Enjoy a cozy spot with great flavors and plenty of options, perfect for a laid-back dining experience.

I’m celiac and finding safe places to eat when I travel is hard. This place was amazing. At first I was skeptical but the young man that was my waiter was knowledgeable and the items are marked on the menu. Food was outstanding! His service was great. He was very kind and attentive.
A beautiful spot with a wonderful atmosphere, offering a unique pizza experience that keeps diners coming back for more.

I have Celiac disease and need to be sure the food is safe to eat so I don't get sick. Waitress was pushy and wouldn't answer my questions or was annoyed by my requests or clarifications, on top of being short with everyone else at the table. They replaced their gluten free flour for pizza crust with "washed wheat" and still call it gluten free, and they no longer have a dedicated oven for gluten free pizzas or dedicated kitchen space for gluten free items. I would not recommend eating here if you have food allergies because they will not accommodate you. I ate the food I was brought and I am sick. Overall my experience was pretty bad and I won't be going again.

We have been a patron of Boludo's since they opened the counter only service on Nicollet next to NightHawk's restaurant. Pizza and service were always excellent. We have also gone to the new location on 38th - service with Oscar was always wonderful - pizza and empanadas were great. In the past couple years, we've had not so great service and food experiences at the Uptown, Dinkytown and even on 38th when Oscar was no longer at that location - the orders were often incorrect, the pizzas were sometimes burnt and the service was not what it was so we hadn't been back in nearly 2 years. Tonight we decided to try the location on S 4th Street Downtown. There were 2 problems - We arrived a little after 8pm and were told by the person taking orders that we could only order take out despite the fact that they didn't close until 9pm and it was lovely outside on the patio. We said that was fine and placed our order. After we ordered and were waiting for our food, a gentleman came in, placed an order with a different counter person at the counter and was given a number to sit on the patio. We then watched the person at the counter take 2 salads and a tray of empanadas to the gentleman and his companion on the patio to eat there at the restaurant. Next, the same counter person took two pizzas outside to the patio to another lady, who had ordered just before us. So I approached her and asked why we were told we could only order takeout. She didn't have a good answer or explanation and told us we could sit on the patio if we wanted. I asked my partner if he wanted to sit outside and he said at this point he didn't want to stay - so I told her we would just take our food to go. The second issue was with our order. We got a small order tonight - just the De La Casa Salad and the Margarita Pizza with extra sauce - which I stated to the person taking our order 2x - once when I placed the order and then checked again when we paid. When we got home, the pizza had NO SAUCE and tons of Cheese! Getting our order wrong has also happened several times before at other locations. Even when we ate regularly at 38th Street, would go into the restaurant to place our order as it was often wrong if we placed online or in person. Had to toss tonight's pizza. We also started ordering the gluten free crust about 2 1/2 years ago, right before we stopped coming the 1st time. The initial gluten free crust tasted a lot like the empanada dough and wasn't very good. We were also anxious to see if the gluten free crust had improved - it looked like it had but we couldn't eat the pizza with no sauce.
We used to eat at Boludo's at least 2x a month when it opened until a couple years ago, but the poor service, inconsistency with the food and inability to get the orders correct are not worth the time or $$ - too many other places in town.
This cozy spot offers strong coffee, creative dishes, and a welcoming vibe perfect for a casual meal while people-watching by the window.

The gluten free options for this restaurant was the best part of the experience my boyfriend and I had. Although the food was decent, the staff were extremely loud, at some points rude to my boyfriend and I when ordering and asking questions, and also just not being respectful of guests in the restaurant.

Let me start by saying that the desserts, specifically the panqueque is amazing!! Highly recommend. As a gluten free human, it’s hard to find deserts that wow, and this one is incredible.
Besides the deserts and cocktails though, I haven’t been all that impressed by the food.
I’ve dined here twice and tried two different pastas and thought they were just ok for the price. The mushroom rigatoni had great flavor but the mushrooms were overcooked making them hard to chew, and the pasta itself was soaked in so much oil that it sat in the bottom of the dish making it feel overly heavy. From my first experience, the malfaldine was, again, just ok.
That said, I will definitely will be back here for the cocktails, dessert, and atmosphere.

Before Curry in a Hurry, I loved going to Gandhi Mahal. When its location was lost in 2020, I was happy they set up this location and go as much as I can. It is my favorite "Indian" food restaurant. (The owners are Bangladeshi so it is technically more Bangladeshi fare). Indian food is usually good in regards to having great gluten free options and Curry in a Hurry is no different. In some ways I like the location and sitting outside during the summer to eat food. I typically eat their Chicken Tika Masala but I have eaten their Chicken Vindaloo. Beware though with the Chicken Vindaloo. I consider myself to have a very high tolerance for hot food, but that Chicken Vindaloo has to be the most punishing spicy food I have ever had in the Twin Cities.

First time here as we were visiting the area. Sat in the bar area. Food was good! Service was ok. Got chips and salsa for an appetizer and was a ton of chips, but not much salsa. Asked for more salsa to finish the chips and got charged for a 2nd chips/salsa appetizer!! Only other complaint was that it was cold and we both had to wear our winter coats the whole time. Loved that they had gluten free options and a gluten free menu to look at.

I have ordered from here a few times. A Sarandara and a Porteno. Gluten-free crust. Amazing, exceptional not your average pizza. Buenos Aires style pizza. And the gluten-free crust is nothing like a gluten-free crust, I do believe it is corn meal-based and is perfectly crispy on the edges and wonderfully flavored. You don't feel compromised or cheated at all. I've also tried a few different gluten-free empanadas, quite delicious. The Sarandara looks quite impressive and has a wonderful array of flavors a little salty, savory with fresh tomato bites and slightly bitter flavor of the fresh arugula. A well balanced pizza. I found it wasn't as exceptional heated up but still really good. Boludo's is a good choice for when you want something different and delicious.

Great pizza, even if you’re Gluten-free or dairy-free! Atmosphere is great (at Christmas it’s decorated really well!) and pizza is amazing. Our server was so great too! You can get half pies so I got half of the #11 (Persian beef, harissa) which was amazing and had a kick to it but wasn’t too spicy. Such a good middle eastern twist on a classic pizza. I also got #13 (ricotta, goat cheese, lemon, basil) which was good but not as flavorful as the other, it’s pretty subdued with the lemon and fluffy cheeses. My husband got GF crust with Vegan Cheese and pepperoni and said it was really good crust and liked the big thin pepperonis! Can’t wait to go back!
Such a cute place! Went to have breakfast with a friend and we both loved our food, Great place if you’re gluten intolerant. Very friendly service as well!

Consistently excellent burgers - in my opinion the cheeseburger is the way to go. Awesome pickles. This has become our go-to take out spot. At the time of this review, it is also celiac safe, with a dedicated fryer for fries if you request it.
Celiacs can’t eat here. I was so excited to see that they advertise so many gluten free options. Paid $3.50 fee to get cash bc they don’t take card and then when I got up to the counter to order I was told they couldn’t accommodate me because of cross contamination. Please don’t say things are gf if you can’t prepare them gf. It’s really demoralizing to people with food allergies to show up and be refused service.

I went here with family for a birthday celebration dinner a few days ago. Place has a fun vibe to it, good service, and great food. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meals. My husband and I had the juicy loopy, and both of us really liked it. Our table also enjoyed the calamari and black bean dip for starters. They even gave my husband a free little ice cream for his birthday, which he really enjoyed.
I have some dietary restrictions, but the restaurant was easily able to accommodate with a gluten-free bun (that was actually pretty good for being gluten-free) and made sure the seasoning on my food did not have garlic in it. The one area where this restaurant could do even better in the area of dietary restrictions would be to have nutrition info online (including ingredients for each dish or at minimum a list of which common alergens are in each meal), so customers with restrictions can better see which dishes they can or can't eat. I was also a little disappointed that the chef was not able to come up with another fry seasoning with other spices, since I was told I had to order them naked to avoid garlic. A good chef should be able to easily know some other spice combos that don't use garlic or even just salted would be fine. (Example- olive oil, salt, pepper, and parsley are quite good on fries and are common spices to have around.)
We also had a vegetarian at our table and she was very pleased with the large vegetarian selection of menu options here. She ordered the vegetarian "chicken" and rice bowl, and she really liked it.
Overall, this place was very good, and I would come here again. My only minor complaint about the atmosphere was it was super dark inside to the point my dad had to use a flashlight to see the menu. I'd like a bit better lighting in the evening hours. Besides making it hard to read the menu, the darkness inside made it feel a bit gloomy if seated away from a window. Otherwise, this place had fun vibes.

Great service, great atmosphere, very helpful wait staff. Me being a professional in the restaurant industry. Red Wagon never disappoints! We hadn't been since they expanded into the space next door, and our spot at a booth was perfectly family friendly. The pizza dough to entertain our 2-year-old was genius!
The buffalo wings are some of the best in the Twin Cities, and while my first gluten-free pizza came out a tad burnt (those crusts are hard to cook), they graciously made me another and brought out a complimentary order of meatballs so I could eat with my family.
All around, another wonderful experience at Red Wagon! Note that you now need a reservation, so book at least the day before you plan to go.
