Wow wow wow. Amazing. A must visit. Came with our friends who are non GF and they loved the normal offering. The GF option of rice noodles was so delicious. Very attentive service. Thank you.
Fun little vegan and gluten-free cafe. The staff working were friendly and kind.
It is a small place and the serves are to the smaller side, too. Maybe more of a snack and treat spot I’d say. We came for lunch and had a pizza and burger plus cake and smoothies and drinks and weren’t full after. The rainbow cake looks beautiful, but wasn’t too flavorful. Tiramisu was more enjoyable. Great alternative cafe if on the search for gluten-free and vegan or dairyfree sweat and savory treats!
Amazing. We ordered two savory and two sweet crepes and their matcha lattes. Everything was delicious and the staff is so friendly. The place is small so go early for seats.
Great gluten-free ramen and vegan and gluten-free gyoza. They saved my dinner, and it was a great rescue 😋😋😋
They don't guarantee contamination since they don't have separate kitchens, but they proved to be attentive and prepared. I highly recommend it 😊

A super quirky place!! The decor is really cool! At first, it took us a while to understand the system, but then it was great! My little one is celiac and was able to eat without any problems because they understand cross-contamination! Something that doesn't happen very often around here. I also got a vegan okonimiyaki, which was delicious. They come in two sizes: M and L. Despite ordering M, we couldn't finish them, but they're prepared. There are trays where you can get as many containers as you need, and a bag to carry it in. The experience was very pleasant.
I had a delicious gluten-free ramen. The broth was perhaps a little lacking in flavor for my taste, but I still liked it. It's wonderful to be able to enjoy a gluten-free option at Tokyo Station.
Excellent place for people with celiac disease! Everything is gluten-free and delicious. We tried the pepperoni pizza, a baguette, a bacon braid, and a kind of vegan curry-filled bun. It's a small takeout place, although there are a couple of benches outside where you can eat. The guy is very friendly and speaks perfect English.
100% recommended, but we recommend getting there early because they're so fast.

This place was so incredible, I couldn’t resist coming back a second time during my trip. The Dan Dan udon, curry udon, and mushroom tempura are all must-tries. Gluten-free food doesn’t always get the credit it deserves, but this spot truly delivers whether you’re GF or not.
Went there today for a quick lunch and got a hummus sandwich for takeaway. I will tell you it was so so good! There's fresh veggies inside and the bread is phenomenal. I wish I could have this every day 😊 the staff are incredibly sweet so I felt like I was at home. If you're vegan and gluten free this is a great option !
Amazing! Amazing! Lovely staff and a cosy little cafe. We arrived late in the day, 5.30 (close at 6pm) and they accommodated us for a quick dessert.
They had sold out of their rice flour bread so couldn’t get the sandwiches. Highly recommend.
Delicious pork kaatsu and Japanese fried chicken (and French fries). Non-GF family members were impressed with quality and authenticity. Hope to eat here again while we are in Kyoto!

Holy cow!! What an incredible meal. To be anywhere in the world, let alone Japan, and have an entirely gluten free meal is a real treat. I can’t even eat like this in the massive American city where I live. This was dreamy. Incredible food and service in an intimate and comfortable space. Very affordable for what you get. 1,000,000/10!!!!
We had been travelling in Japan for Several days, and the members of our party with coeliac was looking for a change. Tucked away on Miyajima, this small cafe is dedicated gluten free. The fried chicken was wonderful, and the curries smelled great. And then there were the donuts…
It was just delightful to find such flavors one GF food, almost by accident.
My friend is gluten-free, therefore she was really happy with the wide selection. I tried the sesame ramen, but it was really bland, and the little bit of soy meat tasted like nothing
Super nice place, run by a couple who couldn't be more charming! Super attentive. Suitable for celiacs and vegans. My daughter is celiac, and when we told them, they explained that they were extremely careful with cross-contamination, which was very appreciated. You pay 4,000 yen per person, but they give you four starters to try, five gyozas, a main course, a drink, and dessert. Everything was delicious. We couldn't finish everything, so we were able to take it home. If I go back to Takayama, I'll definitely be back. I can't fault it at all. (The dish in the photo is from the vegan menu.)
great experience, very diligent about vegetarian and other allergies/preferences. staff was very kind and accommodating, they spoke clear english and made friendly conversation. everything gluten free, highly recommend!
Great gluten-free service, tiny restaurant (5 people max seated), they only have chicken dishes and burgers, but they are delicious. The bathroom has redefined my concept of small space :) but it is very cute. Super friendly staff as always and very reasonable prices.
The best gluten-free place I've tried in Osaka! :-) Highly recommended, incredibly delicious, and cheap! Drink your fill of beer and long live Shiho! Down with gluten! 💘

my family and i had the great privilege of dining at the teppanbaby. my celiac mother had an amazing meal and my little brother ate some amazing chicken and rice. the staff is AMAZING and definitely a highlight of my trip!!
Best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. Scratch that, best pizza I have ever had Period. Everyone visiting Nara, please give these guys a visit.
Not sure if Japan has a Coeliac certification system, but it's all good. They got a while separate stone oven just for the gluten-free pizzas.
No, I haven't been to Italy, but this restaurant was supervised by a world-class Italian chef. It shows. It really shows. Don't think Italian food ever gets better than this.
5000 Stars out of 5.
Had lunch here today, phenomenal curry. Our waitress informed us the cafe is closing for 2 months and will only serve coffee and gluten free cake going forward. No more meals.
I happened to come across a gluten-free bakery so I went there with my husband. Everything looked delicious and it was hard to choose. The staff were friendly and very likable. When I received the bread, some were warm and I couldn't resist, so I tried them on a bench in a nearby square. They were plump and had the aroma of rice flour and were delicious. I'm going to buy some more now. I hope they still have some left.
The food was so delicious and filling and the staff were so friendly. Amazing options for GF (about 90% of the menu is gluten free) and also for those who are vego. We had a great meal here!
Amazing gluten free pistacchio cake and cheesecake. Fresh juice, not too sweet. Quiet and comfortable. Will definitely come back!
Edit: Have been here three times now, would 100% recommend this place!
Excellent gluten free vegan curry (I was too busy enjoying it to take photos) and drink! I got the takeaway curry in a cup - It was perfect! All gluten free, well labeled menu with pictures and friendly service. Definitely recommend this one 🙂
Loved this place!! Everything is gluten free (even the macaroni) however the okonomiyaki was certainly the highlight. It was great to not have to worry about cross contamination - cannot recommend it enough

We chose this bar because we were visiting the temple area in Kyoto, and we were looking for a gluten-free place, and we had a great time, the choice on the menu is very limited, two sandwiches (with very good bread) and 4-5 desserts, then they only have coffee to drink or a few other things (no soft drinks). It is a very elegant place, you can see the artistic imprint of the owner. The staff is very kind and also spoke very good English.
Prices a little high but everything is quality and a zen environment.
Ah from the back you can see the pagoda directly!
Fukuda was amazing with gluten intolerance, I could cry. He literally walked me through every item that I could eat safely. The food was also amazing! 10/10 would come back!
I visited L for You AOYAMA, a gluten-free cafe for intestinal health in Omotesando. I've been eating and drinking a lot these past few days, so I came here to give my stomach a rest (^^)... I had burdock and mushroom intestinal health soy milk soup, a plate of brown rice and vegetables, and pomegranate green tea.
I'm so happy it's gentle on my stomach...no guilt...
It also came with a small banana bound cake, so I was very satisfied! Thank you for the meal (^_^)!
i loved eating here so much i came back the next day. incredible gluten free cafe with great coffee and veggie options.
the french toast was the best i have ever had. and the folks working were incredibly kind and helpful. the space itself was very cute and calming.
i loved the egg sandwich.
It is definitely not street food and the prices may be slightly higher than average. However, everything was delicious, the portions were just right in quantity according to Japanese standards and above all everything was vegan and gluten-free. I would definitely go back
Saved our trip! My son is gluten free, and Japan (largely) is not. It was very hard to find food for him, and other gluten free shops either weren’t really gluten free, or just tasted bad, had very small menus, or were closed when they said they were open. But Biossa had exactly what we needed. Good, fresh, delicious gluten free bread, muffins, baguettes, and croissants! That way we could pack and carry the breads around Tokyo, so my son could eat almost anywhere (by swapping out the provided breads with these gluten free ones). Game-changing. Thanks Biossa!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the entire menu was safe for gluten-free diets, which made us feel so comfortable and relaxed.
The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, making the whole experience even better. We truly loved everything about this place, from the atmosphere to the service.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for safe and tasty gluten-free food in Japan! ☺️
It's great that they have gluten-free dishes. It's great for girls. And it's good that they have coffee cafe latte. It's delicious. The staff are very kind. It was a nice shop. Maybe it's because the door is open? I was worried about small flies and mosquitoes. I might need to be more careful in the coming season.
About a year ago, I started to get stomach problems when I eat wheat.
So I went looking for gluten-free restaurants, but many of them were gluten-free and also vegan, but I wanted to eat meat... I found a restaurant in Nara that could fulfill my wish!
Of course, they also had gluten-free and vegan options.
I had a hamburger on rice flour bread, and it was so nice and satisfying! (It was hard to eat, but that's probably how it is.)
The price was quite high compared to regular cafes, but they seem to use carefully selected ingredients, and it's priceless to be able to eat a hamburger like this without getting an upset stomach!
There was also a parking lot next to the restaurant.
The rice flour scones I bought as a souvenir were also delicious.
I'd like to go there if it was in my neighborhood.
I'd like to eat there again if I go to Nara.
