The interior of the restaurant is filled with greenery and has a warm, homey atmosphere that makes it very comfortable to spend time in. It seemed like there were a lot of couples there. When I went around 4pm, I was able to get in without having to wait, and my food came out quickly. The seiro set meal had already sold out, so I ordered the one soup and three side dishes set meal. The amount seemed a little small for the price, but it seemed good for my health. They also sold gluten-free cookies inside the restaurant. I'd like to go again.

Great gluten-free ramen and vegan and gluten-free gyoza. They saved my dinner, and it was a great rescue 😋😋😋 They don't guarantee contamination since they don't have separate kitchens, but they proved to be attentive and prepared. I highly recommend it 😊

A super quirky place!! The decor is really cool! At first, it took us a while to understand the system, but then it was great! My little one is celiac and was able to eat without any problems because they understand cross-contamination! Something that doesn't happen very often around here. I also got a vegan okonimiyaki, which was delicious. They come in two sizes: M and L. Despite ordering M, we couldn't finish them, but they're prepared. There are trays where you can get as many containers as you need, and a bag to carry it in. The experience was very pleasant.

Be careful with the advertised opening hours. I planned my entire last half day around going here only to find I arrived at 11 as per listed opening hour but it doesn’t open till 12, and I didn’t have an extra hour to wait plus a wasted journey

We had been travelling in Japan for Several days, and the members of our party with coeliac was looking for a change. Tucked away on Miyajima, this small cafe is dedicated gluten free. The fried chicken was wonderful, and the curries smelled great. And then there were the donuts… It was just delightful to find such flavors one GF food, almost by accident.

A rare gem! The chef is extremely kind and adapts perfectly to dietary needs. He specially prepared a vegan broth for me and served other gluten-intolerant guests with a special sauce as well. Lunch was delicious, everything freshly prepared before our eyes. The chef works hard, and it shows in his kitchen. The restaurant's atmosphere is very peaceful! We highly recommend it.

Super nice place, run by a couple who couldn't be more charming! Super attentive. Suitable for celiacs and vegans. My daughter is celiac, and when we told them, they explained that they were extremely careful with cross-contamination, which was very appreciated. You pay 4,000 yen per person, but they give you four starters to try, five gyozas, a main course, a drink, and dessert. Everything was delicious. We couldn't finish everything, so we were able to take it home. If I go back to Takayama, I'll definitely be back. I can't fault it at all. (The dish in the photo is from the vegan menu.)

Best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. Scratch that, best pizza I have ever had Period. Everyone visiting Nara, please give these guys a visit. Not sure if Japan has a Coeliac certification system, but it's all good. They got a while separate stone oven just for the gluten-free pizzas. No, I haven't been to Italy, but this restaurant was supervised by a world-class Italian chef. It shows. It really shows. Don't think Italian food ever gets better than this. 5000 Stars out of 5.

Mouyan Curry is located in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. It's great to be able to eat gluten-free curry. I ordered the three-meat curry (beef tendon, pork, and dry). The two potatoes, fukujinzuke pickles, smoked pickled radish, and onion and rakkyo are all self-service and I was full.

Maybe we ordered the wrong thing but i doubt it as there are only three main ramen dishes- 1-3 with no accommodations. Maybe gluten or vegan options are better. I believe what happened to our ramen was that the green onions were past their due. And they really dumped a lot of these bad green onions in our ramen. It tasted awful. The taste permeated the rest and i know a lot about food and cooking so i tried to work past it and can tell without those green onions that maybe the food would be ok. Anyone who cooks knows that if green onions are old and get slimy the taste will take over the food and in a bad way. And both my son and i had upset stomachs afterwards. A shame because we were looking forward to it. Also as ramen goes it was one of the more expensive ramen dishes we had whilst in Japan.

We specifically visited this place so my coeliac partner could order off the menu. We were not disappointed, plenty of GF options and he said the pizza was delicious. We also tried a mix of the chicken wings and they were also delicious. We went quite early so were the only ones there. Marks down for service only because the welcome wasn't super warm and the American man who works or owns the place seemed quite frosty. The woman who served us was very pleasant and polite. I would recommend the food here ☺️

The most fun restaurant I have ever visited! It's basically a one-man band, with the owner doing pretty much everything: cooking, serving, cleaning and dealing with customers. The restaurant is a minimalist's nightmare, but it actually has its charm, with a lot of handmade decorations and jokes all over. The food was pretty tasty, with a fair variety of okonomiyaki, and there were plenty of gluten-free options, so it's good for celiacs. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food, and the experience. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in town.

About a year ago, I started to get stomach problems when I eat wheat. So I went looking for gluten-free restaurants, but many of them were gluten-free and also vegan, but I wanted to eat meat... I found a restaurant in Nara that could fulfill my wish! Of course, they also had gluten-free and vegan options. I had a hamburger on rice flour bread, and it was so nice and satisfying! (It was hard to eat, but that's probably how it is.) The price was quite high compared to regular cafes, but they seem to use carefully selected ingredients, and it's priceless to be able to eat a hamburger like this without getting an upset stomach! There was also a parking lot next to the restaurant. The rice flour scones I bought as a souvenir were also delicious. I'd like to go there if it was in my neighborhood. I'd like to eat there again if I go to Nara.

It's great that they have gluten-free dishes. It's great for girls. And it's good that they have coffee cafe latte. It's delicious. The staff are very kind. It was a nice shop. Maybe it's because the door is open? I was worried about small flies and mosquitoes. I might need to be more careful in the coming season.

Fantastic restaurant, fully GF and Vegan. Had Okonomiymaki and best GF fries ever. Great service and lovely friendly staff. Would recommend. On level One (1F) in building - just ask directions from other restaurants pn Floor to find.

Could not recommend this place more! Especially if you are gluten free! Not only is the sushi incredible, but they also have gluten free soy sauce which was a blessing to find. The atmosphere is great, cozy and peaceful. The staff are some of the friendliest people I have met, it was so good we had to come back again for our last meal in Kyoto!

I got to experience gluten free Hiroshima style okonomiyaki that was prepared with such care! He utilized gluten free ingredients as well as a separate cooking space. While he was preparing the dish he talked me through step by step. It was fun to watch and learn! Nakamura San explained that he wanted to prepare okonomiya for everyone to enjoy. He does gluten free, allergen free, low sugar as well as a softer version to avoid choking. He also prepares an original okonomiyaki which is what is prepared on the flat top in the photos (non celiac husband ordered that). We both really enjoyed this meal! He knows basic English and communicated with a translation device. We were able to talk and enjoy his story telling. I would recommend this place to anyone who is gluten free or celiac! Look into making a reservation so he can have ingredients prepared for your visit!

Atmosphere was chill and lounge-y like a hip living room or speak easy from the 1920s. Felt like a secret 一言こだわりclub. It was 80% foreigners a from all over the world, so we felt comfortable speaking and laughing at normal sound levels without worrying about disturbing others. The Japanese there seemed happy to have lively foreigners - unlike a lot of places in Japan these days. Also, there was another restaurant nearby that had a sign that said VEGAN but later said “sorry that’s just “design””. This restaurant doesn’t just have a vegan menu, but rather can make vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, or MEAT versions of almost everything on their menu!

Simply lovely! I went there during my visit at Hakone and as a celiac this was the best hamburger I've ever had. Me and my brother had 2 Box Burgers, 1 french fries and 2 craft colas, it was all DELICIOUS! Even the place and the staff, who is made by all women, was superb. Delicious. It's not always easy eating gluten free in Japan, but I have to. Spotted a big gluten free sign outside and was stoked to see all the gluten free choices were clearly marked. Enjoyed my onigiri and a spam/egg "burger". They have a small bar for eating in, but seem to do mostly to-go. The person working (owner) was friendly and happily helped me when I asked a question using Google translate. I wish I was going to be able to visit again this trip!

Honestly, the tacos were up there with the best tacos I’ve ever had. We are both gluten free and dairy free and the staff accommodated us so well. The atmosphere and vibe was top notch, and the staff & chef are SO lovely. I would love to come back here with friends, it’s got such a fun vibe. It’s small which makes it feel even more special. We didn’t have any drinks, but we saw they have great quality tequila & good selection of drinks. Great value for money, good portion sizes & excellent experience all round.
