We visited during our vacation and had an incredible experience. Our server, Ellie, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and ensured that my daughter, who has Celiac, had all the items clearly marked as gluten-free. They use separate fryers and cooktops, and even offer gluten-free buns and wings! The food was so delicious that we decided to come back the very next day!
A cozy spot with a charming vibe, offering expertly crafted dishes, creative drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back.

I’ve accepted that I’ll never be a judge on Master Chef, in return I’d accepted that I’d never have an experience where you bite into a dish and get to be absolutely astounded by all the flavors and profiles that come along with it… until I ate at Colita! We had the Pate and it was nothing short of remarkable! The staff was top tier, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere is intimate and inviting! I’m completely gluten free and could order anything on the menu! We had the best time! Thank you for hosting us and giving us an exceptional experience start to finish! 💕

Great experience here with celiac disease, visiting with a friend who also has celiac. We were both impressed by the confidence of the staff in describing the precautions they take when notified of gluten sensitivity, as well as their overall friendliness. Everything on the menu is gluten free besides the regular buns. Highly recommend!
A charismatic owner serving outstanding and uniquely spiced delights that have swept folks off their feet! A must-visit!

Who thought with celiac disease you could go to a mall and be 100% safe to eat while you are out!! Not until today!! Food was delicious... Loved being able to get some fried food without worry of cross contamination. Everyone should try it... Even if you don't have a gluten problem! The cheese curds... Yum!!!
Great atmosphere with unique upstairs seating, quick service, and a variety of options make it a must-visit spot for an enjoyable meal.

I had a great experience here with celiac disease. The server answered my questions confidently and personally walked me through the menu. They confirmed when bringing out the cauliflower appetizer that it had come from the dedicated fryer. I enjoyed a burger and tater tots. Highly recommend!
This spot is great for diverse diets, offering a chill vibe with tasty comfort food and a fantastic happy hour to sample various options.

The menu is rooted in Southern and Caribbean-inspired flavors, and everything is made with care. My personal go-to is the pulled chicken, which is juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Pair it with the creamed jalapeño spinach - a side dish so unexpectedly addictive that I now find myself ordering it every time, no matter what else I get.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a laid-back counter-service setup that somehow still manages to feel intentional and warm. It’s the kind of place where regulars bring newcomers, knowing the food will speak for itself.
Other favorites include the slow-roasted pork, collard greens, and desserts. They are all flavorful, filling, and made to be mixed, matched, and shared. The portions are generous, and there are great options for gluten-free and dairy-free diners, too.
Brasa doesn’t try to be trendy or overcomplicated. It focuses on doing comfort food right. With quality ingredients, bold flavor, and heart, if you’re looking for a meal that hits all the right notes without trying too hard, this is it.

Amazing! Yes the food is unique but that’s what makes this place so special. I always find it fascinating when people go to a place that actively advertises as no refined sugars or processed foods and then complain that it doesn’t taste like the rest of the junk they eat. There were many vegetarian options and as a person with celiac disease this place was perfect. I ate so much but felt good after since nothing was processed or junk. My only suggestion is that if you can’t go in with an open mind maybe just don’t go.

Had a great experience here with celiac disease, dining out with a friend who also has celiac. The server answered our questions confidently, and we were happy to learn that they have a dedicated fryer. We were told that the bone-in wings are gluten free (along with most of the sauces), and the boneless wings do contain gluten. We opted for burgers, and they were delicious! So were the fries!
Known for a fun vibe and customizable options, this spot impresses with mouthwatering burgers and amazing delivery, despite some order mix-ups.

Best burger I've had in a long time! I have celiac and finding places to eat is very difficult. They have a separate fryer for only French fries, which are honestly amazing.the burgers are juice and cooked great, and the gluten free buns are soft and really good. This is by far my favorite restaurant in the area, if not if all time.
With a unique atmosphere and a variety of seating options, this spot shines for its excellent service and wide-ranging menu, perfect for a chill night out.

A clean convenient location for lunch or dinner with a variety of food options and excellent service.
Gluten sensitive and healthier options are available, and we were told they use a dedicated gluten sensitive fryer.
We liked the gluten sensitive options so much we forgot to take a picture when we first got them :). Sorry!

I love how accommodating Red Robin is for celiac folks. Knowing that I have a safe and YUMMY place to eat is so important. Best gluten free burger in Minnesota if you ask me. I get the haystack double, sub a gluten free bun, no onion straws (sometimes I’ll sub raw onions), and roasted garlic aioli instead of the campfire mayo (since it’s sadly not gf). They also have a dedicated gluten free frier you can get the steak fries and the seasoning is also GF. They have the best interactive gluten free/allergen menu and I would SO love if more restaurants would adopt something similar. Just make sure you always tell your server about your allergy!
We typically always eat there but this time i placed an order via phone for delivery because I’m usually too nervous to do it online… I was helped by the sweetest, most thorough and understanding employee named Virginia. She made sure that my allergy was understood which felt like a weight off my shoulders. I can’t wait to eat my burger!!
Enjoy a laid-back vibe with a variety of burger options and a separate fryer for fries, making it a favorite for many!

Dedicated fryer for the fries. Chicken wings can also be made gluten free. Gluten free bun available but had to make sure that the bun did not get toasted in the machine where the regular buns go. Very knowledgeable staff and if they don’t know, they make sure to ask before inputting your order. Just make sure that you advocate for yourself and ask about kitchen and prep practices.
A lively spot with a creative menu, handcrafted cocktails, and a fun decor that's quickly becoming a local favorite.

GLUTEN PARADISE! Very good farm to table homemade food, right down to the pickles. Many gluten-free offerings, including sandwiches with the gluten-free bun and gluten-free wraps. They also have a variety of gluten-free pasta items, including Chicken mushroom Macaroni and cheese. They now have a gluten designated fryer for fries, chicken, wings, etc. If you tell them you have celiac, they have a very strict protocol in the kitchen. The restaurant is decorated old farmhouse, fashion with chicken theme. They serve wine, cocktails, and mocktails. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable of gluten free needs. They can also adjust for gluten-free and dairy free and have a few vegetarian options.
A cozy spot with a unique bar area and a welcoming vibe, perfect for enjoying good company and tasty offerings.

First time here as we were visiting the area. Sat in the bar area. Food was good! Service was ok. Got chips and salsa for an appetizer and was a ton of chips, but not much salsa. Asked for more salsa to finish the chips and got charged for a 2nd chips/salsa appetizer!! Only other complaint was that it was cold and we both had to wear our winter coats the whole time. Loved that they had gluten free options and a gluten free menu to look at.

Nice menu with clearly labeled items for gluten free, dairy free, vegan, etc. Food was nicely seasoned and drinks were delicious. Only caveat was the papas had an odd flavor to them with the sweet paprika.

TL;DR: Discovered Purple Goat on a gluten free FB page. Good food & knowledgeable staff.
We were in town over the weekend coming from the Twin Cities, and we stopped in on the way to our hotel, about an hour & a half before close. We hadn't eaten since that morning and were excited to try the menu. We ordered drinks, the pork nachos as an app, and a pair of burgers.
Our server April very patiently answered all my questions about the gluten free menu & was very helpful. I had quite a few questions because the menu has a little message about gluten free options posted on a corner of the menu, but none of the individual items are labeled "GF/GS"
The nachos were great, and I even ordered extra of the avocado verde salsa. Our burgers were good, juicy & flavorful. The fries they came with were also great.
Overall we had a good experience, and would love to come back when we're in town again. We would definitely order the pork nachos again and work our way through the menu. I think the only thing I would love to see is a gluten free dessert option.

I have been coming to this Resteraunt for years.
While this Resteraunt has no gluten free menu or markings, it does make the food from scratch, which means most of it can be made gluten free easily by omitting the soy sauce. Make sure to talk to your server.
Since no one ever lists what they ate safely, here is what I have had recently:
The pork egg rolls are gluten free (but not the vegetable ones!).
The fried rice meals can be made gluten free. The curry is gluten free.
I highly recommend the sautéed beef or chicken meal, as it can easily be made gluten free. So delicious! (It even has potatos!)
The pineapple and onion chicken or beef in black bean sauce can also be made gluten free.
Pictures added below of these things on my meal.
A spot praised for its dedicated fryer and tasty options, but clarity on menu items could use some improvement for a smoother experience.

Reasonably good food. The burgers are definitely one of the best things on the menu. I've been here a few times as they've taken good care of my gluten-free friends when we dine out. I'm kind of disappointed they've taken away the ability to pay your check with your smartphone.
Celiac disease sucks. So when a place offers a gluten free bun I give them a shot. First time was great. I would’ve given the place 4/5 stars at least.
But now I’m angry. We got smash burger delivered via doordash. I ordered a gluten free bun. Our order arrived and I was suspicious. This was too soft for a gluten free bun. So I took a hesitant nibble. My gears were confirmed. While I shouldn’t have had that tiny nibble, smashburger should’ve given me what I ordered. Is it so hard to pay attention to the order?
Expect a cozy spot with unique seating options and generous portions that'll keep you satisfied and coming back for more.

I ate here as a celiac who was just diagnosed 6 months prior. They have a lot of gluten free items on the menu so I asked how those would be prepared. I was told the corn tortillas and chips are cooked separately from the flour tortillas. I opted for the steak fajitas and asked for a glove change and just double checked about the corn tortillas. Was reassured they were cooked separately. After 2.5 hours I did not have a reaction
Enjoy delicious, juicy burgers and addictive fries in a vibrant, bustling atmosphere packed with fun and plenty of options for everyone.

It is always a good day when I ask a restaurant if they have a dedicated GF fryer and the answer is "YES"! I was so pleasantly surprised to hear that I was able to eat the french fries. The server also went out of her way to inform me that the malt vinegar aioli is not gluten free so she substituted it for the herb aioli. The fries were delicious and so crunchy. I also ordered the house white wine which was pretty good for $7 and an extra dirty martini. I didn't like the martini but that's on me because it was my first time ever having one! I cannot wait to go back to try more. The atmosphere is great as well and our server was so kind. The fries came out so quickly!

Unfortunately, my visit to The Tavern Grill didn't meet my expectations, leaving me disappointed with both the dining experience and the accommodation of allergens. Despite the elevated prices that suggested a commitment to handling allergens more carefully, there were noticeable gaps in both the kitchen and front-of-house practices.
A significant issue arose with the lack of clear gluten-free indicators on the main menu. The only options provided were to swap a regular bun or crust for a gluten-free alternative. When I inquired about a dedicated gluten-free menu, the server initially claimed there wasn't one, only to later find it, revealing a potential lack of training or unfamiliarity with allergen protocols.
What bothered me most was that the gluten-free alternatives offered, such as swapping a bun or crust, didn't genuinely address allergies. The oversight of other potentially gluten-containing ingredients or cross-contamination risks made me question the purpose of providing gluten-free options when essential aspects seemed overlooked.
Expressing concern about cross-contamination with pizzas, I asked about the possibility of cooking gluten-free crusts separately. Unfortunately, the server informed us that all pizzas were cooked on the same surface, adding to my disappointment.
Taking these issues into account – the absence of transparent allergen information, mixed responses, and the revelation of shared cooking surfaces – the higher prices felt unjustified for the overall dining experience. I had hoped for a seamless and safe meal at The Tavern, but this visit left me disappointed. Sharing this feedback is my way of contributing to an improved dining experience, though as things stand, I don't plan on returning.
To compound matters, our initial experience at The Tavern lacked a proper greeting upon entry. We stood at the hostess stand for several minutes, expecting assistance with seating or at least a simple acknowledgment. This initial lapse in hospitality set a disappointing tone for the evening.
Adding to the letdown, the ambiance at The Tavern fell short of expectations. The lights were surprisingly bright for a Thursday night at 6:30 PM, and the overall atmosphere lacked the warmth and positive vibes one would hope for, further detracting from the overall dining experience.
Regrettably, the staff appeared somewhat aloof, compounding the diminishing appeal of The Tavern. I share these observations with the hope that the establishment can address these concerns and provide a more satisfying experience for future patrons.
Chill vibes and dog-friendly patios make this spot a go-to for a cozy hangout, plus they take care of specialized cooking needs.

Great dinner spot. Lots of options for people with food allergies. I’m gluten and dairy free and had lots of choices. The fryer is separate for their French fries, they were celiac safe, a rare find for French fries!
