Newly diagnosed celiac here. Came for the "Real Cheeseburger" on a gluten free bun and it it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Will definitely return. The staff were knowledgeable and assured me my food would be celiac safe. When it arrived to the table, we were asked first where the gluten free burger went. The sodas were good and fries very delicious!

While staying at the Hyatt, I found this place online for a friend with gluten allergies. There were many doubts and some in our group wanted to turn back as we walked there. Man were we happy we didn't listen to the naysayers! This place was awesome! The outside doesn't look great but the inside is very quaint. The staff were very nice and the food was simply amazing. Most of the group went back the following day.

This was my first time visiting the restaurant. I was in town for a wedding and googled. Having celiac and egg allergy it not always easy to find a good place with good options, but I was amazed by the food here. I went back a couple time's before leaving. This is going to be my to go spot always when in SA. Staff were great, atmosphere is very cute and friendly and did I mention the food ....it was AMAZING, so delicious, great variety , it made me like a normal person enjoying food actual regular food and not having to worry about getting sick!!! A definite win!!!

This is my favorite restaurant! They have a discounted HH everyday (even on weekends) and has great mocktails. They have a staff is great and knowledgeable, everything is gluten free! They have a fried chicken strips are my favorite, along with the cashew queso & the Brussels.

We have recently started frequenting In N Out, and have enjoyed them a lot! They don't have a lot of menu options, but they excel at the items they offer. Pricing is affordable in today's age. They offer bunless burgers, which is amazing for people with gluten intolerance, or those looking to reduce carb intake.

We came here to celebrate our son's 23rd birthday as well as his upcoming graduation from The Culinary Institute of America, and it was well worth every cent! We did the tasting menu and shared everything family style. The food is dairy and gluten free as well as plant-forward. That said, the braised shirt ribs did not disappoint. We left full and happy. If you're dining with someone who doesn't like vegetables, bring them here to change their mind.

Very knowledgeable on the gluten-friendly options. This is the only place I know of in San Antonio that has gluten-friendly chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, onion strings, fried mushrooms, and cream gravy. Yes, you heard me right, gluten-friendly gravy. I danced with rapture at the 1st bite of a fried button mushroom gluten-friendly free that i have eaten in over 8 years. Every part of the meal was enjoyed, including the crustless gluten-friendly cheese cake. I dream about their fried mushrooms, so i limit my visites to once a month or every other month. Definitely on my list for a great meal.

Wow. Could not have imagined how bad it was. Service was almost non existent. I took my boys as menu was ok (burger, fries, chicken). On that day they went with limited menu and no burger or chicken was on menu. Fish was pretty greasy (even after decreasing w napkins). And the fries (chips) were real bad. A few were fine but at least 1/2 were greasy and floppy. Staff seemed almost annoyed we were there. They were gluten free which was about the only good thing there. Beef stew was good, but that was it. (Friend got bangers and mash and said it was bad too. Yes, I know British food is more bland than ours, but theae guys didn't try. Never going back

Great burger place, many options. Onion rings quite popular, also pretzel bites. All you can eat sides. Our server offered us fries up front- instead of appetizer. Burgers are customizable and all ingredients delish. Their campfire sauce is amazing! Competent friendly staff check on you without hovering. Kid friendly and I understand quite gluten friendly as well. Full bar. Loyalty program. Military discount.

Visit miss chickpeas, it looks good, it's the first time I've been there. the place is cozy. Friendly and helpful staff. A lot of variety in the dishes, I recommend it: several gluten-free options. It is a beautiful place, I like the play of its colors. It is a little difficult to find a restaurant where the portions are large and the quality-price ratio is very good, the cook is super friendly as well as the cashiers. I am from Spain and I have been eating this type of food for 12 years. An award for the person who prepares that type of food at miss chickpea I loved it!!

I ordered a custom cake for my 30th birthday party. Not only did the cake turn out exactly how I wanted, but I was SOO delicious! My cake was s’mores flavored, and honestly tasted to me like a snickerdoodle cookie which is great because that is my favorite kind of cookie! Everyone kept commenting on how good the cake was and they didn’t even know it was gluten free and vegan!! It can be so hard to find good tasting and allergen-friendly baked goods, but now Zucchini Kills will be my go to spot for any future cake needs! The bakery store front was a little tricky to find, it is tucked around the corner on the back side of Yarrow & Sage.

We had an amazing experience on Wed, 3/19/25, with server Max. It did take a bit of time to get items, like the table side guacamole. Our cart sat while he attended other tables before he made our guac. I asked if the tortilla chips were fried in a seperate or shared fryer. He immediately asked "do you have Celiac?". I do & he made sure everything was safe for me. I really appreciated that, I never felt like I was a bother because of my Celiac. The food & drinks were delicious, though on the pricier side. Max was very personable, he made the experience so great.

Saw this on Instagram. We were in a hurry and didn’t review the menu before we went. Not authentic Thai food. Ordered the Pad Ka Prow and had 95% green beans and maybe 2 tablespoons of ground meat. I get the overall healthy, gluten free nature but if you want real Thai then this is not it. I should have been clued in by the location.

Plan to share bites and experience odd and tasty flavor combinations. Even cooler is that they are included in the goodfoodfighter.com top 15 Austin restaurants and have a gluten-free menu. Stopped by for a gluten free pizza. Staff was friendly, but pizza seemed a little overpriced - about $19 for a 10” pie. Folks who have celiac: the ovens are shared. I don’t feel sick after eating there, but will update if I feel any pain.

I love Squee and really want them to stay open and thrive. As someone who’s gluten-free, this place has been a go-to for me for almost a year. However, I’ve noticed that the vibe feels different depending on who’s around. My boyfriend and I are pretty traditionally presenting and have often felt like we don’t get the same warm service that other customers (particularly queer folks) seem to get. I initially thought maybe the employee was having a bad day and blew it off but we’ve easily been here nearly 40+ times and it’s clear that they have an attitude with us and aren’t as friendly or kind because we present as cis & straight. I’m a strong ally and believe in inclusivity, and I just wish that everyone, no matter how they look, felt equally welcomed. I know that many queer people face this kind of treatment elsewhere, but the solution isn’t to treat others the same way—it’s about making sure everyone feels respected and valued. The donuts/icescream are amazing, and I’d love to see the experience be just as great for everyone. If I’m reading this all wrong, then I sincerely hope the management and employees focus on customer service and kindness because it would be highly concerning if this was my business with how consistent their poor attitudes are each week. I’ll continue to be a customer because I’m gluten-free and have limited options, but again this review is because I love OMG Squee’s donuts/icecream and I want them to attract more business. From everyone.

Excellent experience overall. As gluten-free out-of-towners, we were really excited to find a casual pizza place that didn’t overcharge, skimp on quality, or limit options. Madi was an excellent server and really made us feel seen and appreciated as new guests and dietary-restricted folks. We may hesitate to go back next time we’re in town, as we’ve since learned that ownership is a bunch of union-busting assholes. A shame, as it was a really special visit otherwise.

I’ve been eating here for years and taking all my celiac friends as well when they come to town. They are always blown away by the GF selections and how even for an Italian restaurant, it’s extremely celiac safe. Their one complaint is that they need to buy bigger pants due to the weight gain. What an amazing experience to eat at the Original Kerbey Lane. We walked in and where immediately greeted and seated. James was our server whom educated that this is the original Kerbey Lane that opened in 1980! Love his hospitality! The inside is so clean and has the most amazing art décor hanging all over the walls. The menu and food is what you would expect for Vegan Gluten Free options. I ordered: Vegan Breakfast Platter (VG) Two Dr. Praeger’s veggie patties & tofu scramble topped with green onions & fresh diced tomatoes. Served with two half size vegan vanilla swirl pancakes. Cost $12.99 I started with the Tofu scramble and veggie patties they both were full of flavors. My pallet was extremely happy with the texture to the tofu scramble. The veggie patties to me where a bit too soft and could have been cooked a bit longer so the inside was not mushy. The two Vegan Gluten Free Vanilla Swirl Pancakes are the BEST and I mean the BEST pancakes I have ever eaten. They were fluffy moist and full of flavor. If you were not aware these are vegan and gluten free and wow I am honestly speechless at the texture the taste the way the cinnamon vanilla swirl enhanced the pancakes in a way that they were extremely sweet. To a point I had to take them home to finish. What an amazing tasting dish!!! My friend ordered: French Toast Platter* (V) Two slices of French toast, two eggs any style & choice of all natural bacon, sausage or seasonal fresh fruit. $12.29 They advised that the French toast was cooked to perfection full fluffy and not egg tasting. They ordered over easy eggs which where cooked perfectly. The seasonal fruit however was not good. The honeydew and cantaloupe were not ripe and the strawberry's felt rubbery to a point I spat the strawberry out as soon as I took a bite of it. We both tried the fruit to ensure that they were definitely not ripe, and that the texture was off. The cleanliness is off the charts as well as the service. Overall this was an amazing experience and the food overall was exceptional minus the fruit!

Food was really good. I had a bison burger with a gluten free bun. Very tasty. The fries were ok. The staff was awesome! But it was so loud I had a hard time talking with my friend. I had to speak so loud my voice was hoarse when I got home.

One of the best breakfests I've ever had! Got the lemon poppyseed French toast special and it was delicious. Absolutely perfect and decadent. Made with a lemon poppy seed poundcake or bread and a delicious glaze. Got it as the "Lemon Poppy Paris Texas Platter" which also came with migas, which they recommended with queso as the sauce, also super rich and decadent so I maybe would've got it with a different sauce but super delicious nonethless. They have a really wide menu with a lot of variety from savory to sweet and some vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu. Got an iced orange mocha with oat milk, super great drink. The staff were all very kind and helpful and made the experience really pleasant. Great value for the quality and amount of food you get. A really enjoyable and tasty meal!
