We were looking for a solution for gluten free food in Bologna. The Vecchio Mercato restaurant met the requirements because it is an AIC certified restaurant. We came at different times for lunch. Let's start by saying that the pasta they offer is all homemade. There are appetizers, first and second courses, both meat and fish and finally also desserts and ice creams, always made by them and NOT packaged. We took some aubergine appetizers (croquettes, parmigiana and rolls) all with excellent flavor and tasty enough to make you want to have more. But let's go slowly. The first ones. The maccheroncini with bacon and the very tasty Bolognese balanzoni gave no hint of a different flavor compared to a dish made with classic flours. Huge portions!!!! Here too, for the flavor (and if there had been some room in the stomach) we would have taken another portion. The seconds. The bacon with a bed of polenta cooked to perfection, balanced in flavor and very tender meat, so much so that it could be cut with a fork and finally the Petroniana cutlet. Well, do you know ceramic trays? Well it was full of meat, here too cooked to perfection and loaded with ham (for those who know it, you know what I'm talking about) we struggled to finish it!! And finally the desserts... I repeat, the difference with those made with wheat flour is absolutely not noticeable! The staff, knowledgeable and kind, made us feel at home, even recommending dishes, which turned out to be excellent advice on pairings! A 10 out of 10 for the Vecchio Mercato!

We received a recommendation today for the best Lasagna Bolognese in Bologna - it was correct. We had a fantastic meal tonight at La Capriata. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and we were offered a dedicated Gluten Free menu which was a nice touch. All four of us really enjoyed our dinner.

Good experience, wide choice on the gluten-free menu, good dishes served quickly. We ate an appetizer divided into 2, 2 fish main courses, accompanied by artisanal gluten-free bread, and freshly baked hot pizza focaccia. Drank 2 glasses of prosecco, 1 bottle of water, and finished with 2 sorbets

The place is aesthetically satisfying, the staff is very courteous and prepared. The dishes we had the opportunity to taste were truly a high-level sensory experience (especially the seafood amatriciana was truly surprising for the intensity of the flavor despite the simplicity of the ingredients) I particularly appreciated the sensitivity towards gluten intolerance and the variety of menu offered. They have a lot of gluten free options. The bread is extraordinary! My husband and I ordered tagliere for 2 and it was great. Because I’m celiac, both breads were gluten free and he actuallly said it was very tasteful. I 100% Recommend this place if you are gluten intolerant/ celiac. Location wise? It couldn’t be better. Just a few meters away from the Torre Dell’Orologio and the Neptune Fountain.

Finally I also find an AIC certified place in Parma that can satisfy my celiac needs!! I'm just sorry I found out so late. I will be a regular customer from now on! For now I have only tasted the fried gnocco and the pizza, both EXCELLENT! I will return with pleasure.

I highly recommend this place for celiacs like me! I ate really well. everything was delicious!! the dish I had chosen was strozzapreti with prawn and courgette sauce, a nice portion, but then everything was gluten-free. Even the "focaccia" served as gluten-free bread, a person who was with me got the fried one. and to finish, a taste of the cake offered on the house and coffee cream. We have been using Gluten Free Capricci for over ten years. My daughter is severely allergic to milk proteins and eggs, as well as being celiac, and has never had any problems. Always very attentive and available. Thanks to them my daughter was able to eat things that would otherwise be impossible: cappellacci and tortellini, as well as numerous cakes for the most special events and the fantastic vegan brioches, including pistachio ones, a dream! The owner of Bruscè is very friendly and you feel comfortable there. I have celiac disease and have to eat gluten-free and I received a large selection of gluten-free dishes there. For breakfast we had omelettes, pancakes and a yoghurt fruit bowl with granola, and for lunch we had delicious gnocchi. Highly recommended!

I purchased a gluten-free cake at the "La Favola Senza Glutine" store in Forlì, and the choice was really difficult because there were so many cakes with different flavors and sizes, always produced by "Il Gelatino" of Mirandola. The cake was something spectacular, super good and well made. You can feel that the highest quality products and raw materials have been used, and even from the external appearance of the dessert you can perceive that the workmanship is done with precision and dedication. The taste was truly exceptional, and you don't notice the difference at all with "normal" desserts. This cake in particular was made up of a sponge cake at the base, hazelnut ice cream and cream inside and an external icing adorned with chopped hazelnuts. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future!

At the Modena tourist office they gave me a list of where to eat gluten-free and this is the first restaurant that came out but, when I got there, they told me that the kitchen is contaminated and they do not guarantee that the food is gluten-free!! Very difficult to eat gluten-free in Italy!!!! 😬

It's misleading to write gluten-free options which then send you away if you have celiac disease. Plus the girls aren't the most friendly. Not recommended *** You told me the first time that there was the possibility of contamination, I said okay and sat down, then another lady came to reiterate the concept, so was it me who wanted to leave or was it you who didn't have want to let me eat in your restaurant? Unfortunately we know that if the cuisine is unique there can be contamination, you just need to be very careful, which you probably don't want to do. Also, there are few restaurants that have double kitchens but they are happy to pay attention. However, I repeat that it is not recommended for celiacs.

Nice place in the center of Cesenatico, a few steps from the canal port. The restaurant offers vegetarian and vegan cuisine, with attention to excellent quality primary products. The dishes are well presented and cared for. Be careful about gluten-free. Unfortunately, the service is a bit slow, but it's worth the wait. Price around 20/30 euros each.

I heard about this pastry shop when I went, the staff welcomed me with great professionalism and above all with heart, they care a lot about making you feel included in a culinary world that until recently was, due to lactose and gluten intolerance, forced to give up pizza restaurants. They make desserts that seem impossible without these ingredients. Weighted in sugar, a beautiful presentation of desserts. I tasted a pistachio biscuit there, a delicacy, very kind to offer it to me. I bought two raspberry puffs, two custard cakes with pistachio and one chocolate cake, delicious!!
