While staying at the Hyatt, I found this place online for a friend with gluten allergies. There were many doubts and some in our group wanted to turn back as we walked there. Man were we happy we didn't listen to the naysayers! This place was awesome! The outside doesn't look great but the inside is very quaint. The staff were very nice and the food was simply amazing. Most of the group went back the following day.

This was my first time visiting the restaurant. I was in town for a wedding and googled. Having celiac and egg allergy it not always easy to find a good place with good options, but I was amazed by the food here. I went back a couple time's before leaving. This is going to be my to go spot always when in SA. Staff were great, atmosphere is very cute and friendly and did I mention the food ....it was AMAZING, so delicious, great variety , it made me like a normal person enjoying food actual regular food and not having to worry about getting sick!!! A definite win!!!

We came here to celebrate our son's 23rd birthday as well as his upcoming graduation from The Culinary Institute of America, and it was well worth every cent! We did the tasting menu and shared everything family style. The food is dairy and gluten free as well as plant-forward. That said, the braised shirt ribs did not disappoint. We left full and happy. If you're dining with someone who doesn't like vegetables, bring them here to change their mind.

Three of us had a late lunch here today and the food was fantastic. One of our party members has celiac so the menu being almost completely gluten free without having to ask for substitutions was why we gave it a try. We tried the mozzarella sticks, fish and chips, banger and mash and finally the sticky toffee pudding cake. Everything came out very hot and delicious with generous portions even from the lunch menu. Service was great as well. She knew the dish’s ingredient information and was very kind and attentive.

This bakery makes me so happy. I can eat everything on their menu, and I always stock up on bread when I can swing by. (Best tasting gluten free bread I've found locally.) Always excited to try their rotating aura cupcakes for a nice twist, but my favs are the strawberry abyss and their swiss rolls. We've ordered a cake from them, and they did a wonderful job. (We'll likely order again.) Go stuff your face and smash the pastriarchy in one fell swoop. You won't regret it.

My husband was recently diagnosed with Celiac and I found Sweet Charli Bakery when searching for a gluten free red velvet cake in Austin to continue our pre-Celiac tradition. We have now ordered 3 of these and would continue to pick this cake over one with gluten any day - it’s amazing! I can’t wait to try some of her other baked goods!

I ordered a hibiscus margarita and cheese sticks with pepperoni, bacon and jalapeños with a side of marinara and ranch. I come here often and Jamie has been very sweet and attentive even during a chaotic rush. She makes sure all her tables are doing well and answers any questions about the menu. She offers gluten free pizza and desserts which are really good! Recommended trying their hubcaps, satisfies the sweet craving! Thanks for the great service Jamie! ☺️

A must-eat place while in Austin. We shockingly were able to walk in without reservations on a Thursday night and were seated outside immediately. Our server was the BEST and even left us with a to-go container of our favorite gluten free crackers. The menu is huge and I have no doubt everything is delicious. Our favorite was the short rib hummus (with the GF crackers)!!

The staff is amazing here! It was our first time with our newly adopted pup and they were very welcoming and accommodating. We had the match latte which was the best one I’ve had and the hot chicken sandwich that was freakin amazing and gluten free! We’ll definitely eat here again the next time we’re in Houston.

Via 313 is my favorite pizza in Austin. You can never go wrong with the Detroit style pizza, the Detroiter is my go-to because of the double pepperoni. They also make really good meatballs and have an excellent gluten-free crust. Check out their Happy Hour!

Y’all. We just found the most amazing Italian restaurant in Dallas—and nearly everything can be made gluten-free! 😭🍝 We were out on a date night and happened to drive past @kennysitaliankitchen—I had it on my list because I’d heard they had gluten-free options. So glad we stopped! Our waitress told us that almost the entire menu can be made gluten-free—and it’s celiac-safe, prepped in a separate part of the kitchen. That alone made my night! Even better? They had vegetarian options too. I ordered the eggplant parmesan, and let me tell you… it was next-level good. Perfectly crunchy (not soggy like it usually is), with a rich, flavorful sauce. You can literally see the crispy texture in the dish—absolutely beautiful and delicious. And yes—they have gluten-free bread! Soft, warm, fluffy little pillows of joy. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sat at Italian restaurants watching everyone else eat bread while I sip water. Not this time. 🥹 The vibe? Classic and cozy—checkered tablecloths, soft candlelight, family photos on the walls, and Italian music floating through the air. Total old-school charm. They can also make regular (non-GF) versions of dishes, so everyone in your group will be happy. Honestly, everything was incredible. This place is an absolute gem, and I already know I’ll be back very soon!

I’m the most complicated individual in terms of how stringent I am with food. I look into quality ingredients, seed oil free, halal, sugar free, soy free, gluten free, grass fed butter etc & Huma & Fabian understood my language & concerns & we’re able to accommodate my every request 100%. This shall be my go to spot for late lunch or dinner. Restaurant that promote quality down to the ingredients is rare.

My daughter has celiac and we are always looking for decent basic bread options. We were both very happy with the rolls and white bread from Pie Jacked! Nice texture and much better than the store bought breads. Definitely recommend stopping in for some breads to go The location is small, and the staff was not very friendly, but the food is good.

This was a WOW for me. We were just passing through and asked some locals for a breakfast cafe nearby. We were to Bluebonnet Cafe and Tea Thyme Cafe. Once they said they offered gluten-free options, I was sold. If a place offers gluten-free options, they are sure to offer lots of fruit and veggie options and be very careful with their menu. I’m so glad we chose this one. The staff was SO kind and patient. The omelette was THE BEST I’ve ever had, with so many veggies, real eggs, and mozzarella cheese. I’ve never had an omelette with mozzarella cheese before. They also had a side called “enchanted mushrooms” and it was so amazing in flavor. I wish we had this restaurant back home. I’d be there weekly!

I ordered gluten free items on the menu (told the server I have Celiac - he said he had a celiac button on the register). The food did not come out with the gluten free flags. As someone with celiac, this is a great comfort to know the food was prepped with caution and not mixed up in the kitchen!

Comedor in downtown Austin blew us away when we visited earlier this year! The modern Mexican cuisine is nothing short of a culinary adventure, with flavors that dance on your palate. As someone who's gluten-free, I was amazed to discover that the entire menu is gluten-free—this truly blew my mind! Chef Philip Speer's creativity shines through in every dish. The atmosphere is a beautiful blend of chic design and warmth, making it the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel truly special. Oliva popped into our google search while we were in Ft. Worth. When we saw it had gluten-free options, we decided to try it out. The restaurant was packed upon arrival, and we were told it was Graduation Weekend. We were seated within just a few minutes of our arrival. I asked for the gluten-free menu - a lot of options on it, including desserts. However, the menu item I ordered came out with spaghetti noodles instead of linguine, without warning. I chose not to say anything because pasta is pasta. I also ordered the minestrone and was surprised by the huge portion. It tasted good and was gluten-free - no pasta or beans in the minestrone, so basically vegetable soup. My husband ordered the tortellini with chicken, and while there was ample chicken, there were few vegetables on the dish. I found the same problem with my meal - a vegetarian option, with very few veggies and mostly pasta. The pasta was swimming in water, which might be traditional, but if you like your pasta 'drier,' you'll need to ask them to drain it before placing it into the dish. Plenty of leftovers to take home - had 2 more small meals from them. Oliva is well-lit when sitting in the front room or near the windows, but very dim near the back of it, toward the bathrooms and kitchen. The furniture is nothing special - the use of plastic placemats instead of tablecloths is not impressive. The service was good, and everyone appeared to be very busy, friendly, and willing. If you imbibe in Limoncello, you don't want to miss the housemade! It is served in a cordial glass, ice cold, and very refreshing. Overall, I feel this is a nice, casual, family eatery that has confidence in the service of their clientele. Oliva has plenty of options, and the food and service are good while not being overly pricey.

Excellent food! And it is gluten free, dairy free, nut free. The nug box is a staple. The smoked chicken salad box is my personal favorite. The smoked salmon is quite good also; I recommend with the salad and rice. Food is so fresh here and the music they play is always fabulous and puts me in a good mood.

I can’t say enough good things, every experience I’ve had here has been great. I’m gluten free and visit family in Galveston a couple of times a year but just found this place. Everyone has been so helpful when I’ve had questions. I’ve tried the gluten free pop tart, gluten free cinnamon roll, gluten free key lime pie, and gluten free vegan meatball pocket and gf v curry pocket and it’s all been soooooo delicious. It’s all so flaky and moist and some of the best gf pastries I’ve ever had. Their matcha is fine, kind of bland and too sweet but their iced tea is tasty especially when paired with a nice sweet treat. Cannot recommend this place enough and I’m so glad it exists!

The best mochi donuts in Austin! Teresa and Anthony, a husband-wife power duo, run this little pop-up business all on their own. They use a traditional Korean recipe and use 100% rice flour in their donuts, making it completely gluten-free. The flavors change often and are creative, fun and ALWAYS delicious!
