OKO is amazing. Cooking serving only person running the place. Self serve honestly system for drinks is a fantastic idea while you wait to order. Partner is Gluten intolerant and has IBS she understands English well. Food servings were generous and no issues with my partner. 5*

A truly breathtaking experience. Everything from the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the kindness and thoughtfulness of the chef was absolutely outstanding. This is not only a hidden gem from the gluten free community but a restaurant that should be at the top of anyone's list of must-haves coming to Tokyo and Japan writ large. Please give this restaurant a Michelin star already! The food was very fresh, cooked tableside, and given some background by our chef and the menu. Please note that if you really want a full experience with the chef that he does understand some English, but you should really put forth effort to learn some Japanese to fully express gratitude for the amazing meal he will put together for you. Your tastebuds will thank you for booking here. Please note that reservations start at the time you need to be there by so please plan accordingly. All in all, a meal definitely worthy of your money and time. Will be back here every time I visit if there is availability.

Delicious pork kaatsu and Japanese fried chicken (and French fries). Non-GF family members were impressed with quality and authenticity. Hope to eat here again while we are in Kyoto!

What a fun place to eat! The staff are so welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere is upbeat. The food is delicious and is served quickly. Good for gluten free diets.
