PVC is amazing! I have been coming here to enjoy the full vegan menu for years & brought many meat eaters along who have enjoyed the meat alternatives so much they go back religiously even without me! They have just eggs, French toasts, gluten free waffles & English muffins, impossible burgers, veggie burgers, vegan chicken, also have pulled jack fruit as meatless option. Vegan cheese & cheese sauce, lots of veggies & fruits, vegan chilli & slaw, hot dogs, vegan Indian food!!!, impossible gyros! Fresh pressed juices, smoothies, chia puddings…. Not a fast food joint, so expect to wait about 15 min or so per order as it’s all made to order.

I’ve been back twice and had the Buffalo cauliflower and gluten free pizza. The cauliflower is great and the GF pizza is delicious. I suspect the regular crust pizza is better but if you’re trying to reduce your wheat flour intake and want some pizza, this GF pizza will scratch that itch. My original review is below… Let me clear, I’m not a beer drinker. If I drink beer I prefer a very hoppy, dank, bitter IPA. I have not had one like that from Trophy but I’ve not been looking either. I did come in to try the Detroit style pizza (only available on Monday and Tuesday). I lived in Dearborn, MI for 4 years, 1 mile from Detroit and Detroit pizza was Buddy’s Pizza. The crust was basically crispy focaccia bread with cheese and sauce built around the edges that gets a crispy burn and gives Detroit pizza its signature style. I love Buddy’s Pizza. There are only a couple East Coast pizzas I like better than Buddy’s so Buddy’s is a top 5 all time favorite pizza for me. Trophy’s Detroit style pizza tastes like Buddy’s. I mean it totally scratches the itch I sometimes get when craving Buddy’s pizza. Mmmmmm. Service was great. Meagan was attentive and helpful. We made reservations and were seated immediately at a table in the AC. If you love Detroit style pizza, this is destination dining in the Carolinas. Finally, the cocktails were good too. Old fashioned with a solid well and my wife had a house gin cocktail she let me sip that was lovely.

I am so pleasantly surprised by this place! The atmosphere reminds me of Chipotle a bit, but it's not an assembly line. The mac-and-cheese is absolutely delicious. And we got all gluten free for my mom, and it was also delicious. If I hadn't known it was gf, I wouldn't have been able to tell. Staff is very friendly. Highly, highly recommend!

As a single diner, service is often lacking. I had fantastic service today. Tea glass always full, etc. I really appreciated it. Would recommend cooking the gluten free pasta al dente. It was a bit too soft. But I appreciate that you have it available.
