Great atmosphere and interior design. Just came here for some lunch. The food was good but I don’t think it reflected the price paid. Did not try anything off the drinks menu though the drinks at other tables did look great. I really appreciated that the whole menu was gluten free and there were plenty of vegan options.

TLDR: amazing service, quality food with good portions, well trained staff, able to accommodate many dietary requirements and accommodate different budgets. - - - - My most recent visit was my fourth time dining at Chin Chin, this time it was with work colleagues for a Christmas lunch. The food was delicious as per usual, and it is worth noting that despite the fact that the restaurant was absolutely packed and insanely busy, all of our dietary requirements were met without fail (lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance). In terms of cuisine you wont find anything “traditional” at Chin Chin, it is Asian fusion at its finest, but everything is well thought out, well balanced and also fun. The service was excellent with the staff explaining each dish, making sure our drinks were topped up, checking in with us in between courses and even taking the time to have a quick chat with our table. Additionally when I passed by the kitchen it was very clear that they had their communication locked down. Always a pleasure to dine here.

Best gluten free pizza I have ever had. If they don’t tell you that is GF you’ll not believe it. Better pizza than in Italy 35$ anyway. Has to be good.

I was at RPS in Hardware Lane yesterday for lunch - with a group of five. The food was sensational. We chose banquet 6. The portions were very generous and incredibly delicious. One of our diners was gluten free and another vegetarian. Their needs were catered for without them having to miss out on anything. There are many options available to select your own choices to make up a banquet. Service was spot on! I was spoilt by the restaurant as it was my birthday. They surprised me with a snapper cracker (you must try it) for a starter and a passionfruit bavarios for dessert. If you want to treat your taste buds and enjoy great service, this is the restaurant for you.

Finding somewhere to eat as a coeliac, is always a very difficult task. WOW, not only did we feel truly welcomed by the fabulous manager, he also pulled up a seat and sat with us to ensure we would have a great dining experience. The coeliac meal was prepared with the utmost care and the food was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Service - Great hospitality by Debra, super cordial and can tell she likes being around people. Felix is quite friendly as well. Food - Used Groupon vouchers but the food was plentiful and made 4x different variations on each meal and got all correct. They do extra crispy bacon and poached eggs as an option. The gluten free option (no extra charge!), girlfriend thought they were excellent and we thought they tasted even better than our normal pancakes 🥞 Atmosphere - very clean and organised

No longer 100% gluten free, and can’t even cater for it adequately despite saying they can on their menu - didn’t notify us until 30 mins before our booking despite us specifying “gluten free” in our booking 5 days in advance, and couldn’t offer substitutions for their set menu (their menu now says only a couple of things aren’t gluten free, but we were told anything on the grill is no longer gluten free, so the menu is incorrect as well). To make matters worse, they take the full amount from your card for the set menu at the time of booking upfront, and then you have to wait days to get your money back if you’re not going. This place was an institution for coeliacs - if that’s why you were going, don’t bother.

Fantastic all round. We didn't have a booking but the staff made room for us. Amazing food, great service and good pricing. My partner is celioac and they brought her a specialised menu and made everything she wanted completely gluten free. They even used a separate fryer for the chicken. Can recommend the feed me option.

I wanted to order a takeaway through uber for my partners birthday. We have previously eaten here before and get a gluten free base pizza. I called to ask if that was ok if I could order through the app and request if they did a gluten free base. The guy on the phone said they don’t do gluten free bases there. I responded that I’ve had them before here and he said well you can write it in the notes. I said well I’m not going to pay for pizzas if they are not going to be gluten free bases so I said will they be gluten free base and he responded no. Terrible, terrible service and did not make me feel welcome at all. Not accommodating and quite frankly rude.

I am so glad I found this joint! A cool space with a good atmosphere and excellent customer service. If you’ve seen any of my food posts you’ll know I’m that person with a ridiculous food intolerance that is usually not considered. Here it was! They have a separate emu that lists the items open for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, fructose free, onion free and garlic and onion free! What? So good! My bloke and I shared a few dishes when eating out for the first time in… for ever! Delicious cabbage and pork dumplings, legit fried rice, crispy pork belly and eye fillet steak - we had sauces on the side for him to enjoy and me to avoid and both thoroughly enjoyed a top notch, tasty meal along with a couple of crisp and light rice lagers. I bought some of the yummy smelling teas to go. A first class experience. Thanks!

House made soda was amazing. I had pineapple and lime. The corn on the cob was very nice. Good spices. I had gluten free and vegan burrito. I've never been able to order that at a restaurant. It was fresh and tasty. It had mushrooms and spinach in it. Very interesting flavours. Only bad thing about the place is that you have to go up stairs to get to the restaurant, but that's not their fault. Very busy place. Loved it.

Stunning Sunday out - throughly enjoined the Gin High Tea! We had a big group and were really well looked after by Jack, Dani and Ella! The cocktails were really special thanks to Emma and Serena behind the bar. All of the food was super yum, vegetarian and gluten free also well accounted for! Excellent spot especially for food allergies. Wife and I had an great 3 course meal that cater for low fodmap and celiac diets. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about our requirements and there recommendations of baked brie and the risotto were spot on! The low fodmap wagyu burger was one of the best I have eaten. This meal was the highlight of our stay in the city. Will definitely be back and will bring more people :-)

This cafe is a hidden gem! With an impressive selection of Gluten Free (GF) and Vegan Options (VGO), it caters to a wide range of dietary needs. The charming setting offers both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for any occasion. The Padre coffee is exceptional, and the breakfast and lunch menu is solid, featuring a delightful array of bagels, including GF options. The American-style menu is a treat, and we were thrilled with the delicious brisket and asparagus. Plus, the staff was accommodating, allowing us to customise our sides to perfection. Highly recommend!

My colleagues and I are obsessed with this place. The $25 lunch menu is sure to have everyone fed and happy. I'm coeliac and the options available are so delicious and I've never reacted to cross contamination. The staff are so friendly and always good to have a laugh with! Hubby and I went here for our 10 year anniversary dinner in December and it was lovely. The venue was packed (definately recommend booking), the staff were lovely and the food was amazing. We had a gluten free pasta dish which was nice, but the gluten free Pizza was delish! The base was beautiful and soft...it felt like I was eating "normal" pizza! Very yummy. Highly recommend.

I love this café for a few reasons, first and foremost. They have the best orange Matcha that is so creative and tasty! Second is their staff is really friendly. We were waiting outside before they opened, staff at the opposite side of the laneway told us in the very abrupt way that they were open until 830 however they didn’t know that we were actually waiting for 10 square Café to open. When we came up right up to Ten Square at 8 AM, they were so friendly sat us down really quick to serve on top of all this they also have really wonderful food! They have gluten-free vegan and nut free options and I’ve had a number of things here and they’re all very delicious. Great place to come if you’re staying in the Melbourne CBD.

Strange vibe here. The food was very quick but felt sort of lackluster and the gluten free bun was very dry and hard. It’s clear that they’re cutting some corners with staffing which makes the customer service poor. You can’t ask for anything from your table really. You have to go to the bar. And if you already have food at your table and want dessert you have to go outside to order dessert. Just a weird set up that makes the whole experience make the customer feel like a bother.

We managed to get a table outside and were promptly attended to by wait staff. The menu is diverse with delicious options and cater for vegetarians and gluten intolerances. All meals arrived in a timely manner and each was delectable with alterations made as requested (no mayo on burger, gf bread for teriyaki mushrooms and added fried egg). Burgers looked so good there was an appetite of food envy! Would come back esp to try those.

Beautiful food, great vibes, friendly staff. Reasonably pricing for size & quality of meals. This was mid November, so Christmas decorations around the fed square area. My gluten free pals were very happy with their meals. Lots of seagulls around pecking at people's food scraps when they left.... Whilst amusing for us, glad it wasn't to our own food.

Loved the vibe of this cafe! Buzzing and mostly corporate clientele during the week. Very thick fluffy gluten free bread which is always a good surprise! Lovely presentation of the scrambled eggs which were creamy and big portion. Good selection of pastries and amazing breakfast menu. They do a pretty good matcha. Not the best I’ve had but still good. Would absolutely come back on a weekend where I have more time to sit back and enjoy.

Second visit but first time we had eaten there. The restaurant was very relaxing and tables well spaced. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, as I am a coeliac and their mess are marked online and in-house with dietary options. We had the chicken and prawn past dishes both of which were really good. They also stock two bays GF Pale ale, which is great as a coeliac.

Love this trendy open kitchen Japanese restaurant. Counter seating is fantastic to view the food being made and prepared in the busy open kitchen. Food is delicious and lots to choose from including vegan gluten free options. Constructive feedback, drinks slow to arrive and dietary codes are needed on the menus. I booked counter seating but was sat at a dining table. I mentioned this to the host and was then seated at counter seating as booked.

The best!! Spicy vodka pasta was on point 🫶 Went here for a dinner to celebrate my birthday. The cocktails were so yummy, particularly the strawberry, pear and lemon sorbet cocktails! Atmosphere was cozy and waiters were super attentive. Drinks and food came out quickly and we had a feast😋 My friends favourites were the gnocchi and the vodka pasta. They also have some very good gluten free options (I had to double check they were gluten free because they were so convincing😭) Bookings are for two hours only but we were lucky and got the table for four hours. Had such a great time - would recommend for family, friends, birthdays and definitely functions!!

Dine in- the restaurant is fun. Staff are really friendly, killer menu. We managed to get out of there without ordering dessert but I still have that bucket thing on my mind. I had the chicken burger. Sauce and cheese were super tasty. And the chicken was high qual. My partner had the GF burger and the bun was decent (for being gluten free).

Who doesn’t love Arbory? A great bar, central location. Staff have always been friendly AND vegan and gluten free options. I had the vegan fried cauliflower burger and it was bloody amazing! I’ll be back again for that!
