They didn’t earn the title of the best gluten free pizza in the world by accident — they truly do have some of the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had! Plus they can also make all their dishes lactose free. I ordered a gf and lactose free pizza and it was fantastic. They even had gluten free bread for an appetizer. Will be going back any chance we get!
A 100% dedicated GF restaurant as well as a grab and go window available next to the restaurant! I got a turkey, brie, arugula and tomato sandwich on focaccia at the take away window and it was so delicious!! And huge!!!
First, let me say the food was amazing. Lots of normal and particularly gluten-free options for my wife. The restaurant was a very good size with an outdoor space despite the small curbside footprint. One thing that really turned me off about the attitude of the waiter; when asked if my wife and I could side side by side, the waiter said it wouldn’t be possible as we would need a 4 person table. Normally I’d agree, but showed up right at opening and the restaurant was empty and remainder virtually empty the entire time we were there. Not impressed.
This place has the most wholesome waiters (shoutout to Elyes!) and the cutest atmosphere. They make certain all allergies and special diet requirements are met, which can make eating out so much more relaxing as someone with allergies and intolerances. They checked and the gluten-free pasta is vegan so I had multiple options to choose from.:)
Modern and refined environment, unique in its kind, familiar and attentive service.
Refined and varied menu with availability of gluten-free dishes also very appreciated.
Delicious pizzas, I personally recommend the "pizzutella"
The only negative note, being in a central area, often crowded and chaotic with too many children who are left running around the place because of their parents, creating disturbances (for this reason 3 stars)
For the rest, highly recommended.
A fixed destination for a dinner with friends.

We ate there four times in one week. Delicious gluten-free pizzas. Excellent service, attentive and kind. Some staff members have disabilities, but their energy is impressive.
I highly recommend it.
As a celiac I can say that it is the best pizzeria in Florence! My favorite, but not only the pizza, everything is super good for us celiacs! Kind and helpful staff, I have never had a negative comment!
Everything was tasty. I really appriciate the gluten free options! Service was fine and friendly, also the surrounding of the cathedral has its own charm. Thanks!
I have been going to this restaurant for many years and it has always been exceptional in everything: pizza, fish, desserts, service and also a fair bill for the high quality of the food.
I have been gluten intolerant for 3 years and here is truly the best gluten-free pizza in Florence 😍 the gluten-free dough seems almost the same as that of a pizza with gluten. It is soft, but crunchy and digestible.
Also noteworthy is the quality of all the foods and the raw fish!
The staff and owner are very kind, attentive to the needs of each individual customer and always with a smile!
Also recommended for birthdays!!!
We spent these 2 days in Florence, everything was delicious, very attentive to gluten-free food and everyone was very kind, especially Antonio number 1, thanks for the hospitality
What a wonderful find. Simply amazing food, and impeccable, friendly and welcoming service. Very caring for my dietary restrictions (coeliac) and the food was simply delicious and deeply satisfying. A real joy.

Finally a nice little place where you can eat gluten-free and without too many regrets! Everything is very good and you absolutely have to try the fluffly pancakes! Soon I will also try the brunch!
I have been coming to this restaurant for decades, always excellent, quick service, large spaces (great for children), friendliness and friendliness of the staff. Allow for a bit of "caciara".
Praise for the attention and variety of dishes for celiacs: from first courses to second courses, without forgetting the gluten-free pasta and focaccia, made on the spot, delicious and crunchy.
The place is also well suited for quick meals alone or in large groups.
I give 4 stars and not 5 for the price, recently it has gone up in price, like everywhere else, but this is supposed to be an unpretentious restaurant, without white tablecloths, rather spartan, so the prices could be a little scary.

I've been coming with my friends for about a year and we always leave with full bellies and satisfied.
I am gluten intolerant and gluten-free focaccia is served instead of bread (which is not to be taken for granted when receiving a good product and not packaged bread), but the first courses can be made gluten-free.
Really delicious and lean meat, cured meats and cheeses.
I really recommend it to anyone who wants to have a quality dinner or lunch!!!
Excellent service and Fabio (the waiter) is very competent, polite and attentive to the customer

Welcoming place, high quality ingredients in original and refined dishes with a refined taste. All gluten-free or adaptable dishes. Excellent experience.
Gluten-free pasta is delicious, one of the best I've tried in Italy. The waitress' service was also excellent (she speaks Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and English).
The place is very pretty and picturesque, steeped in history and retaining its essence. The service is perfect; we were served quickly and in Spanish. There are gluten-free options, but the pasta is only spaghetti, with any sauce you like. The food isn't spectacular, but it's good. And it's very cheap! Bread is included in the dinner supplement, which is €3 per person. We ate during the week without a reservation, but booking is recommended.
Wonderful experience! Would have loved some gluten free bread as an option for the cover, but the meal options being celiac safe were appreciated. I really enjoyed the stew. The wine was SO good and we loved the cozy dining room. Could have stayed all night.
We got 2 gluten free sandwiches that were amazing! They did not take long to come out and the service was very good! Rola and Titi were amazing! Definitely coming back for more before I leave!!

We stopped by here during a trip to Florence from London. A friend had insisted that we make the journey out of the city to try this pizza. I was dubious as I have celiac and have to eat gluten free. Expectations were very high, but every single one of them was exceeded. The gluten free pizza was specially developed by the head chef, which the menu explained. The texture was incredible, the perfect balance of crispy and chewy. The simple ingredients topping it were of very high quality and perfectly complemented the dough. My husband had a regular pizza with gluten which he also spoke very highly of. Even the desserts were sensational - my gluten free tiramisu made for a beautiful end to the meal.
I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough; if you are gluten free and you come to Florence, you must make the journey to visit Giovanni Santarpia.
I start with the premise that this review at the request of my "celiac" girlfriend was not among her wishes to release, knowing in herself that she was dedicating very few nice words towards this restaurant. That said, I personally expose what unfortunately happened on: 04/03/2025
My girlfriend and I, a “CELIAC” through the The fork platform, decided to book at this restaurant, also convinced by the fact that it offered the gluten-free option, well, we get there, we sit down, we order and it is here that something happens that you would never expect from someone who offers the “GLUTEN-FREE” service, we are served a dish containing gluten to a celiac person, also on my request to receive gluten-free bread for my girlfriend, a few seconds later the chef is seen coming out of the kitchen, who promptly tries to lift the plate to take it with him to the kitchen, unfortunately my girlfriend, despite the chef trying to take the plate back, the contents of it were ingested anyway and if it had not been for my request regarding gluten-free bread, my girlfriend would have ingested a whole dish containing gluten.
Despite the fact that the facility did not charge us the bill "the minimum" and after their apologies and calls, I came here, after two months to say this ...
My girlfriend has been experiencing abdominal problems for over a month and not only that, she is limiting her life, both at work, at university and private, undergoing various visits
While waiting for the results regarding the blood test, if she discovers, in fact, altered values regarding the celiac disease protein, we will hold this facility responsible, with consequent complaint to the police, as well as complaint to the AIC "Italian celiac association"
My girlfriend, "very good" despite this decided not to leave any review, to date with various problems that she is going through I am here to write this.
Of course, the facility cancelled the reservation through The fork and of course by offering lunch I was not given the receipt, so they could say that I have no proof, in reality I took relative photos, with relative dishes, as well as the name of the facility and also importantly the phone calls that were made to us after lunch.
That said, I advise anyone with celiac disease not to go here
Small update, my girlfriend went to the emergency room a few days ago, now we are waiting for the results of the blood tests, with proven detection of the celiac disease protein, a complaint will be filed with the police with a complaint also with the AIC
We have not even received a response regarding this from the owners, which is why I say that if this problem is confirmed on celiac disease, we will file a criminal complaint with a lawyer, for attempted murder
Read online that they had gluten free croissants, but it's not worth the detour if you ask me. The croissants were very dry and not tasteful. My parents - who do eat gluten - had a great breakfast though. Nice staff and plenty of choice (if you eat gluten).
Great food. Their Fettuccine Alfredo was great, and they can make it gluten-free with a spaghetti noodle. Their Tiramisu and Panna Cotta are also delicious.

Fabulous food, service and ambiance. Really very warm welcome, kind and prepared, especially in the various advice and availability. The girl who managed us was really nice and it was a real pleasure to get advice from her. The only advice I feel like giving, obviously aimed at improvement, is to slightly increase the quality of the gluten-free proposals, in terms of attention to individual dishes and menu choices.
Fast, welcoming service and very good pasta (gluten-free available). Nothing to complain about, a good place to enjoy pasta in a fairly quiet street in the city center!
I came across this pizzeria by chance while searching on the Internet for a gluten-free pizzeria located outside the center to avoid the usual parking problem. Indeed, even here the parking is not very easy to find but speaking of the pizzeria I must say that the service was excellent, the quality of the food truly excellent and the Gluten Free impeccable, so giving a little summary:

Super recommended, well done guys great job Gluten Free fantastic!
A perfect place for a family meal. Very professional service and incredibly good food. I definitely recommend it. Top-notch gluten-free pasta and perfect bisque.
If you come to Florence and want to eat Bistecca Fiorentina, I definitely recommend this restaurant 🥩❤️🔥
I'm not sure, but I guess there are more locals here rather than tourists. It was the impression that
We made a reservation a few days in advance.
The restaurant has quite a few seats, but I think it's safer to make a reservation in advance.
We have always loved Bistecca Fiorentina and rare T-bone steaks and have eaten them many times.
However, the Fiorentina I ate here was truly the best, the strongest, and the best Bistecca Fiorentina I've ever had😍🥩❣️❣️❣️
As soon as I arrived, I was directed to a seat in front of a showcase lined with steaks🥹🥩🔥
It was my first time visiting this store, but I think it was the most special seat in this store❣️
And how about the meat? He showed it to us and let us choose.
We chose the 1.2 kg Bistecca Fiorentina that the shop staff showed us and ate it for the two of us😘🥩
It's a perfect T-bone steak with perfect thickness and few streaks, perfect for both fillet and sirloin👌🏻❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Of course, order rare✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
For the garnish, I ordered grilled onions with parmesan sauce.
I was also really grateful that they provided gluten-free bread 🥹💕💕💕
The quality of the Fiorentina that was served to me and the way it was grilled were absolutely perfect, and every time I bit into it, it was delicious🥹!! ️!! ️!! ️!! ️!! ️!! ️!! It was so loud that I cried out “️”
I had high expectations and was excited from the beginning, but the exquisite steak exceeded my expectations and made my whole body swell 🤣❤️🔥LOL
It was kind, full of flavor, crispy and soft with a sashimi-like texture, and the two of us devoured 1.2kg in no time.
The grilled onions that came with it were the sweetest and meltingly textured onions I've ever eaten, and they were so sweet that you'd think they were coated with sugar!? It was so delicious.
If you come to Florence, you should definitely eat Bistecca Fiorentina here❗️
The concept of steak will change❗️❗️❗️
Once you know how thick and perfectly rare Bistecca is, you'll never be able to eat an overcooked steak again ⚠️
Anyway, recommended for those who like steak 😍
The staff is kind and polite, and it's a really great restaurant.
I will definitely come again and recommend this restaurant to many people ❣️
Best food we have had in Florence. Pear and pecorino, Spinach and walnuts, roast beef, meatballs and wild boar pasta. Excellent coffee, excellent service. Great find! Lots of gluten free options too.
Service is rated at 10. Maurício speaks Portuguese which makes service easier. The restaurant is next to the Central Market. The other day he prepared a wonderful gluten-free carbonara pasta. Today we went back and had an excellent gluten-free pizza too. We paid 12 euros for each pizza. Price also good. We loved it and recommend the place.
A journey of flavors
Today we had the opportunity to try this restaurant to celebrate a birthday
We chose to take the 5-course tasting menu, one of which was vegetarian on request.
Meanwhile, it is very appreciated that they open the doors to other food choices, plus most of the dishes are made gluten-free.
The tasting menu was a real journey of flavors and emotions with innovative dishes where every ingredient was exalted, in short we were left speechless from the first course to the dessert.
Impeccable presentation of the dishes and excellent service, we were pampered by the dining room staff and we also had the pleasure of meeting the chef who turned out to be a very pleasant and kind person.
We highly recommend it and will return with great pleasure
Normal sandwiches have a tourist price. I came because they had gluten-free bread but the price was too expensive for two mini sandwiches with supermarket bread. If you go for gluten-free, nothing recommended :(
It was recommended so highly and we easily experienced why. The servers are personable and enjoyable, the food - out of this world, and the atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious but fun with corks donning the majority of the walls. Having delicious gluten free options (including bread) was a major win and the gnocchi was heaven in a bite.
Great wine recommendations for the perfect steak - we were so full! They took special care with our 9 year old - including him and making him feel involved. We went somewhere else on our last night and regret it terribly. This should have been the place. Reservations are needed!
English: We had lunch at this restaurant on Sunday. I am celiac, and I had the opportunity to choose the first course of the day and the second course of the day, which was meat with potatoes. However, the waiter thought it was a good idea to warn me about the contamination of the potatoes when the dish had already been left on the table, and without me being able to respond since I was in the bathroom at the time, so my boyfriend told me. We got to the cashier and apart from the wait for the bill, when I asked the waitress who was behind the counter and was ignoring us if we could pay, I was told in a piqued manner that she couldn't leave what she was doing, which is fine if said in a different tone. The bill was fair for what I relatively ate, but I'm leaving this review because if you choose to have gluten-free options, it's best that they are truly gluten-free and that the waiter knows what he is serving and above all that the customer knows, because if you feel bad then it's a tough nut to crack. Best regards
