One of a chain of several franchised Vietnamese restaurants. Food is consistently good at all Pho's and this was no exception. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice ambience. Drinks at reasonable prices for London. Excellent choice for folks seeking gluten free dishes.

They have a lot of gluten free options so hopefully in the future they can separate gluten and gluten free fried options to make it coeliac friendly

Visited Covent Gardens branch last night with a couple of mates (one had a gluten intolerance). I ordered a £95 platter for two and the rest ordered a variety of dishes. Server came out with the first batch of food/dishes and gave it to the guest with gluten intolerance as it had gluten free soya sauce and gluten free items and didn’t want to mix things up and she proceeded to eat whilst the rest of us waited for ours. As dishes arrived at the table they kindly pointed out whose dishes were theirs. So the rest of us started to eat and enjoy our food. When I asked the server where my beef teriyaki dish was he said he’d go and find out. Came back out and said they made a mistake and gave it to the gluten intolerant person. I said that’s not great as she’s gluten intolerant and she got a normal dish which she subsequently ate but now I’m a dish down. He graciously tells me that I would need to pay for that if I still want it over and above the hefty £95 price tag??? I said but it wasn’t my fault or her fault for eating it as this was specifically given to her by server. He flat out declined so I left it there as I did not want to make a scene in front of my mates. The situation was handled badly at the very least and it would’ve gone a long way with me if they had just brought me the replacement dish which I did not get to enjoy/eat.
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with unique dishes and a creative drink menu that makes for a delightful dining adventure.

I previously had a great experience at NOPI but was disappointed this time. Service was super spotty. Lots of staff standing around but not serving or looking at the guests. We were downstairs and it felt like they didn’t want to serve our table or that we were in a different restaurant. It took over 20 minutes to get a taster of a wine before ordering. We ordered the food while waiting & the arancini came out within minutes of ordering which was strange & we hadn’t even got the drinks yet.
I put my allergy on the booking yet they still asked about it & then took time to get the gluten free menu.
When asking for advice for the food quantity the waiter was super unbothered and unhelpful.
Very disappointing as it ruined the overall experience. Some of the food was still super delicious like the fritter & the chicken.
Hidden away with an atmospheric vibe, this spot offers vibrant vegan dishes, creative teas, and an overall quirky charm that keeps folks coming back!

Extensive gluten-free menu that even my non-coeliac partner ordered from as there was so much choice! The bibimbap was excellent and I was made to feel super safe and catered for.
Service was a little slow and it was extremely loud inside, but worth visiting for the food and good to see the place so busy.

A place with cool atmosphere and average food. Sadly, a very strange and rude attitude serving people with intolerances or allergies. I have a dairy and gluten intolerance. The servers told me to check a confusing online allergen menu myself with no guidance rather than answer any question about the menu. Then, we ordered the nachos with yogurt on the side, not an abnormal request. A manager literally came to us to tell us having the yogurt on the side would inherently alter the dish and they couldn't do it. I worked in hospitality for 6+ years and this is absolutely crazy. We were blown away by the arrogance of this, which seems to be decision from the chef, not the FOH. It's not haute cuisine, it's fusion nachos at a chain restaurant. Just put the yogurt on the side. Overall, food is acceptable, nothing remarkable, and the atmosphere is cool - but you would get better allergen service even at the worst of chain pubs. Would not come back.

We’re quick to write reviews when things go wrong, but I don’t think people get into the finer details when something is truly exceptional.
We were incredibly lucky to snag a last-minute reservation here, especially since it's booked months in advance (unsurprising given the exclusivity—just six seats!).
From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs, whisked through a secret curtain into what felt like London’s best-kept culinary secret. It was intimate and special, without the pretentiousness you sometimes get at high-end spots.
The ambience immediately transported us to Japan, and the chef made us feel at ease. He introduced us to the evening’s 15 course menu with such passion, walking us through the incredible quality of the ingredients. One standout moment was hearing how his team traveled to Oaxaca, Mexico, to personally source rare, seasonal ingredients used to make their powders and sauces. This attention to detail made the experience feel even more exclusive.
I’ve been fortunate enough to dine at some of the best restaurants around the world, but this experience topped them all. I usually find that when chefs try to blend cuisines, it can feel forced, but here, the subtle infusion of Mexican elements was so seamlessly integrated into the traditional omakase experience. It never took away from the authenticity—it enhanced it.
One of my personal highlights was the “taco” served on a rice paper leaf, followed closely by the generous “caviar bump.” The sommelier’s wine pairings were equally impressive, especially one wine that had been finished underwater, complete with coral still attached to the bottle—an unforgettable touch.
And on top of all this, the restaurant offers the only omakase experience that’s entirely sustainable, nut-free, and gluten-free. It’s simply mind-blowing.
The wait to get in is well worth it, and it won’t be long before this place earns a Michelin star. If you can get a reservation, do it now. I feel incredibly lucky to have experienced it and can’t wait to return. Huge thanks to Akiko and the Juno Omakase team —what a remarkable evening.
With super fast service and a unique variety of fresh, healthy dishes, this spot is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious options.

I know I can’t expect fully authentic Vietnamese pho here, but I had hoped for a bit more flavour. It is possible that some adjustments were made to the recipes due to our allergies (gluten and shellfish), but I have had pho at other places where the flavours came through much more. The chicken pho, unfortunately, tasted more like a very plain chicken noodle soup. The herbs served alongside it were missing fresh basil, which I would have expected; instead, I was given sprigs of mint. The peanut sauce served with the summer rolls also fell a little flat, tasting more like watered-down supermarket peanut butter than a proper dipping sauce.
The staff looking after us during the meal were attentive, checking in regularly to see if we needed anything. The atmosphere overall felt quite similar to a food court, but that was clear from the outset and not unexpected.
A vibrant spot with a lively atmosphere, great for grabbing a bite before a show, though service can be a bit hit or miss.

Booked here for my birthday as read in a previous review they have Gluten Free options. Only starter that’s GF is salad which is poor! There’s about 4-5 mains that are GF. The rice was hard & dried out, and there was not enough sauce in the curry to wet the dried out rice to the end, so left a third of it. Ordered 2 cocktails each at start and these did not come until we had finished eating! We didn’t even have water on the table so absolutely nothing to wash the food down with! Was suppose to get coleslaw with the meal but got done limp shredded lettuce instead! Service at our table was dreadful and the whole place was chaotic & noisy. Went to the loo, they were dirty with “liquid” all round the base of the bowl! Whilst waiting to use them I waited in the corridor, and could see into the kitchen - shocked to see how dirty the floor was - really bad and how dirty the rags were that they were using to wipe stuff!!
Turned up 10 mins early and the manager told us to wait even though there were plenty of tables empty and ready all wiped down! There was also a queue outside, which we were in initially but after 15 mins of not moving yet seeing empty tables through the window, we booked a slot online as we were queuing so we got in a fraction quicker.
Refused the cocktails when they arrived as did not want to be sitting in this awful place trying to knock back 2 cocktails on a dinner! Finally got some water toWould not recommend this place and will never be returning! Ruined my birthday night!

We went as a party of seven and it was wonderful - the food was delicious, it was a big menu with lots of options - and vegetarian, gluten free and other allergens all clearly labelled which made things much easier for me a gluten free pescatarian. The food arrived quickly, the waitress was lovely. It was a small restaurant but the vibe was great, it had real character. The food was just stand out. Would recommend

Not sure what to say but this is an amazing restaurant, I can see why it comes up on the list of best vegan restaurants in London.
First about the location. Itadakizen is very easy to reach and it was easy to get there even without getting public transport from St Pancreas International.
It is a small restaurant and fills up pretty fast, so I advise you to book a table.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The ambience is chill and cozy.
The food... that's the best I've had in a restaurant for a long long time.
Everything is vegan and they also have gluten free options.
There are a lot of tapas type dishes so it is nice to share and try different dishes.
We had the miso glazed egg plant...which was my favourite...perfect. Most restaurants make eggplants extremely oily and soggy, but this was perfect. The texture was moist and just right, the taste was amazing too 🤩😍🤩.
We also loved the cucumber kimchi, and the sweet potato noodles.
My hubby also tried some dishes that had gluten. He loved the tempura and the spring rolls. The spring rolls dough was very thin and looked very light and crunchy.
The plum wine is also worth trying, sweet and refreshing.
I did forget to take photos before as everything was so tasty, but the pic is matcha purrin, very light and refreshing. A perfect finishing touch for a meal.
I strongly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

Great Dim Sum with a nice happy-hour offer on food and cocktails. Lots of variety.
Poor Allergen Management. We were disappointed in our server. My colleague is coeliac and selected Yuzu macron on the specific Gluten-Free order sheet. Unfortunately our server brought Yuzu cake over (not even an option on the GF order sheet) and when we questioned this he tried to convince us it was a Yuzu macron and GF (it was not). It's a good job we stood our ground otherwise there could have been serious health consequences. No apology for the mistake. The server was also unsure on whether the condiments he brought to the table were suitable for coeliacs.
The main issue was the severe language barrier (which would normally be okay but not when you need to get clarification on allergies). There were also a couple of other issues regarding miscommunication with our server and the dishes we had ordered.

I left London a couple of years ago and now I'm visiting for a couple of days and the first thing I go to eat is Kin's pad Thai! It's delicious and I'm so grateful they make it gluten free and can accommodate dietary restrictions in general. There are a lot of GF options.

We were seated downstairs in the swanky area that seemed more suited to a date night than I catch up with old friends. It was a bit dark for me and the seating is very low which isn’t good for old knees.
The food was good when it came out and there were good gluten free options however the service let it down. The waiter was a bit condescending, when questioning missing dishes which we had previously asked about before , he advised us there was no such order. After a few mins discussion he made a big deal of telling us it had now been ordered implying it hadn’t been, and a few mins later the missing dishes all of a sudden turned up. This is the reason I marked it down because who likes to be told your a liar etc

I grew up eating Indian food, this was some of the best (maybe the best) I've ever had. We popped into Zaika because it was across from Kensington Palace, we got there 20 minutes before they closed to prep for dinner. Everything we had was absolutely fantastic and they had gluten free roti that was sublime.

First time visiting since being gluten free, had to ask two people before I could get a gluten free menu which was tiny 😭 the manager had to take my order but he was so nice and really careful about my food!
The food was awful sadly, there was no taste to the pad Thai at all, I got it without prawns and chilli but it tasted like nothing, I asked for salt but they gave me an empty grinder but at this point I felt like a pain to keep asking. We then had to get someone’s attention to order desert waited around 15 mins and tried asking someone else because no one came. Sadly the desert I wanted was defrosting and the second choice was out of stock but at this point the manager was servicing us - who I can’t stress enough was actually amazing! And he helped us with our deserts and gave me it on the house due to the issues with availability.
Apart from the great manager, I was really let down with the food so sadly will take Wagamama’s off my gluten free safe list.
