Plus they can also make all their dishes lactose free. I ordered a gf and lactose free pizza and it was fantastic. They even had gluten free bread for an appetizer. Will be going back any chance we get!

A 100% dedicated GF restaurant as well as a grab and go window available next to the restaurant! I got a turkey, brie, arugula and tomato sandwich on focaccia at the take away window and it was so delicious!! And huge!!!

We arrived at night in Florence and discovered this place for dinner. The prices are good and in relation to the food it was good. The dish in the photo is a beef burger that is served as a kind of pita, with salad, potatoes and barbecue to accompany. We also ordered an apperol spritz and coke. Price for 2 people was €55 if that works for you as a reference. The atmosphere is very local and simple, don't expect luxury. The service is good, they tried to speak in Spanish and it was good. Something to take into account: Ask beforehand about the presentation of the dishes so that it does not surprise you. There are pizza options too, in case you don't want to explore other options on the menu. They have gluten free options, I liked that. I hope my reference is useful to you 🤓

Mama Eat is THE restaurant in Florence where food intolerances can share their table with people without intolerance without any restrictions on the menu. The staff is very kind and attentive. The atmosphere is very nice, a little away from the busy places which allows you to be calm even outside.

The best food of the entire trip Venice, Florence, Rome. The truffle pasta is worth the price. They also have many gluten-free options although we didn't see it in the comments and thought there weren't any, when we arrived we saw the seal and the waiters were very kind explaining everything to us. Super recommended. They gave us proseco while waiting in line outside and they gave us a snack when we sat down. A 10.

I have been coming to this restaurant for decades, always excellent, quick service, large spaces (great for children), friendliness and friendliness of the staff. Allow for a bit of "caciara". Praise for the attention and variety of dishes for celiacs: from first courses to second courses, without forgetting the gluten-free pasta and focaccia, made on the spot, delicious and crunchy. The place is also well suited for quick meals alone or in large groups. I give 4 stars and not 5 for the price, recently it has gone up in price, like everywhere else, but this is supposed to be an unpretentious restaurant, without white tablecloths, rather spartan, so the prices could be a little scary.

I took a Florentine ossobuco with accompanying beans (served not hot enough). Even though the need for a gluten-free option was indicated in the booking, they did not provide gluten-free bread and a whole series of fried dishes are contaminated with gluten and therefore not suitable for celiacs. The tiramisu was good. The place is characteristic and close to S. Maria Novella (station). Ultimately sufficient judgment no more.

I've been coming with my friends for about a year and we always leave with full bellies and satisfied. I am gluten intolerant and gluten-free focaccia is served instead of bread (which is not to be taken for granted when receiving a good product and not packaged bread), but the first courses can be made gluten-free. Really delicious and lean meat, cured meats and cheeses. I really recommend it to anyone who wants to have a quality dinner or lunch!!! Restaurant a stone's throw from the Duomo. My wife and I spent a Florentine weekend to appreciate the culture that splendid Florence has to offer. We had lunch and dinner at Lo Scudo, in the hope that they would offer gluten free alternatives. My wife, who is celiac, ate an excellent pasta with wild boar ragù and some delicious strips of lemon chicken with spinach and roasted potatoes. The staff was attentive both in taking orders and in delivering what was requested, with due care. So thank you and see you next time!

The girl who managed us was really nice and it was a real pleasure to get advice from her. We stopped by here during a trip to Florence from London. A friend had insisted that we make the journey out of the city to try this pizza. I was dubious as I have celiac and have to eat gluten free. Expectations were very high, but every single one of them was exceeded. The gluten free pizza was specially developed by the head chef, which the menu explained. The texture was incredible, the perfect balance of crispy and chewy. The simple ingredients topping it were of very high quality and perfectly complemented the dough. My husband had a regular pizza with gluten which he also spoke very highly of. Even the desserts were sensational - my gluten free tiramisu made for a beautiful end to the meal. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough; if you are gluten free and you come to Florence, you must make the journey to visit Giovanni Santarpia.

Read online that they had gluten free croissants, but it's not worth the detour if you ask me. The croissants were very dry and not tasteful. My parents - who do eat gluten - had a great breakfast though. Nice staff and plenty of choice (if you eat gluten).

Service is rated at 10. Maurício speaks Portuguese which makes service easier. The restaurant is next to the Central Market. The other day he prepared a wonderful gluten-free carbonara pasta. Today we went back and had an excellent gluten-free pizza too. We paid 12 euros for each pizza. Price also good. We loved it and recommend the place.

Zero recommended. First of all, the waiter who served us was charming. On the other hand, the restaurant is not worth it at all. The prices are exorbitant and although the food is delicious, you can eat phenomenally in other places for half or even less of the price. The portions are not large either, in fact we ordered a pizzaiola schnitzel (28 pavazos) and they gave us two cheap mini filets of loin with two pieces of mozzarella. Its cost what, 50 ct? A joke. We went among other things because they are certified gluten-free, my husband was given some supposed fresh pasta noodles (initially this option was not possible and suddenly they decided to make fresh gluten-free pasta), coincidentally very similar to Chinese rice noodles . In short, go to another trattoria where there are great ones and you won't spend the outrageous amount they are going to charge you here. Without gluten there are other much better places.

If you come to Florence and want to eat Bistecca Fiorentina, I definitely recommend this restaurant 🥩❤️‍🔥 I'm not sure, but I guess there are more locals here rather than tourists. We have always loved Bistecca Fiorentina and rare T-bone steaks and have eaten them many times. However, the Fiorentina I ate here was truly the best, the strongest, and the best Bistecca Fiorentina I've ever had😍🥩❣️❣️❣️ As soon as I arrived, I was directed to a seat in front of a showcase lined with steaks🥹🥩🔥 It was my first time visiting this store, but I think it was the most special seat in this store❣️ And how about the meat? He showed it to us and let us choose. We chose the 1.2 kg Bistecca Fiorentina that the shop staff showed us and ate it for the two of us😘🥩 It's a perfect T-bone steak with perfect thickness and few streaks, perfect for both fillet and sirloin👌🏻❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Of course, order rare✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻 For the garnish, I ordered grilled onions with parmesan sauce. I was also really grateful that they provided gluten-free bread 🥹💕💕💕 The quality of the Fiorentina that was served to me and the way it was grilled were absolutely perfect, and every time I bit into it, it was delicious🥹!! ️!! ️!! ️!! ️!! ️!! ️!! It was so loud that I cried out “️” I had high expectations and was excited from the beginning, but the exquisite steak exceeded my expectations and made my whole body swell 🤣❤️‍🔥LOL It was kind, full of flavor, crispy and soft with a sashimi-like texture, and the two of us devoured 1.2kg in no time. The grilled onions that came with it were the sweetest and meltingly textured onions I've ever eaten, and they were so sweet that you'd think they were coated with sugar!? It was so delicious. If you come to Florence, you should definitely eat Bistecca Fiorentina here❗️ The concept of steak will change❗️❗️❗️ Once you know how thick and perfectly rare Bistecca is, you'll never be able to eat an overcooked steak again ⚠️ Anyway, recommended for those who like steak 😍 The staff is kind and polite, and it's a really great restaurant. Pleasant lunch break. The place is always very clean (even the bathrooms) and it feels like being in a movie, then the Piazza della Repubblica is a precious setting. Sicilian cannoli, good toast and sandwiches. For gluten-free they have good mini industrial brownies (too bad, from a place like this I expect a laboratory product, in Florence and the surrounding area there are several that deal with gluten-free, I'm confident in the future😊). Tea della Via del Tea, a Florentine company, I appreciated very much. Impeccable, kind and competent service; Marta took our order without writing anything down (we were 4 people with 8 different orders). Comfortable sofas, we were outside on the sidewalk.

The menu is surprising... there are so many choices of pizzas and special doughs, I would have liked to try them all!!! I'll have a chance to do it 😊😊. The desserts and starter which we shared between 2 were also good. The pizzas ordered were: a Napoli with multigrain dough and turmeric and an off-menu stone-ground wholemeal dough with pumpkin cream, roasted ham, tomino cheese and sprouts!! Yummm!! One of our fave spots in Florence. Really friendly service, large portions, and good atmosphere. We went at open so there was no wait. We ordered the salmon, potatoes, and the margherita pizza. All were delicious. I am gluten sensitive and their menu had many options for me. Our favorite pizza in Italy so far 🤩

Normal sandwiches have a tourist price. I came because they had gluten-free bread but the price was too expensive for two mini sandwiches with supermarket bread. If you go for gluten-free, nothing recommended :(
